This product is sadly of poor quality. The posts are both made out of solid quality metal but the bar that goes between the posts is a cheap aluminum feeling metal and it's a COMPLETELY different color than the posts. Really disappointing from a quality brand like Moen. Do not waste your time on this. You'll just return it like I did because it looks so cheap and mismatched.

Disappointing - Rattles, Exposed Sharp Corners
This bar's cut edges are on the outside of the bracket instead of on the inside. The bar ends are cleanly cut, but still thin metal & sharp, especially at corners. Despite tight horizontal bracket spacing, bar doesn’t fit snugly over bracket; enough play that the bar rattles. If one puts clothing over the side of this bar, it could snag on the sharp corners. Won't be using any of the collection purchased, even if I can't return it. Won’t be worthwhile after first clothing hole. But pretty.

I will give it a good rating even though I didn't use it. I was using the Moen Genta (Not LX) towel bars and accidentally ordered this one. Based on description on Home Depot's site it seemed like it was the same as the non-LX model. Well, it's bigger (thicker, heavier duty) than the non-LX model so not really a match. It did seem it would have been just fine to use if I'd started out with the LX line. No problem returning it so that was good.
