Outstanding product, from a trusted name. Installation was so simple, I had to check it a couple times for leaks, thinking that this can't be that easy. Everything in the box, made it ready to use my existing drain and dishwasher drain tube. I ordered online for delivery and 2 days later, it was sitting at my door. Thank you all for the hard work and perfect transaction process.

Simple installation, good fit, good power, but, OMG, when it turns on, it sounds like you're standing on the runway when a Boeing 787 is taking off!!! It is +80dB, measured on my cell phone Sound Meter App. The rubber insert limits the amount of water going down the drain, but, it is a good thing, because it 'slightly' reduces the amount of noise coming from the drain. All I can say... IF it wasn't so loud, I would give it 5 stars, and recommend it to everyone, because it is well built, easy to install, high quality materials, and churns banana peels and steak leftovers with no sweat expended!!

I've had it for a day and I think it's good. My previous one was an insinkerator and it lasted 25 years. It was only 1/2 HP. I had a professional remove that and install this new one because if I did it, there would most likely have been frustration, doubt and cursing. So for $140 a gentleman I hired knocked it out in 30 minutes. I got this unit on sale for $118, so for a like $260 total I'm all set and I saved myself from a potential all-day headache. I have really only grinded up eggshells so far so I guess I haven't tested it fully, but it does seem fast and powerful. I agree with other reviewers that it isn't super quiet. It might be a little quieter than my last one because that one had a slight rattling sound that came from the drain area. This one doesn't rattle but there is more of a low rumble. It sounds different than any other garbage disposal I have ever heard. It really doesn't bother me. As long as it lasts, doesn't leak and it grinds stuff up, I am happy. MOEN responses on here say that noise levels can vary based on installation conditions. This is reasonable. My unit bumps up against the PVC plumbing portion ever so slightly. It is unavoidable in my situation. So it is probably sending some vibrations through the plumbing which cause the low rumble. Or maybe it's just the way it is. Whatever. No big deal. I'll give it 4 stars because if I give it 5 then there is no room for improvement and people will get lazy. Wear your masks! Socially distance! Flatten the curve! VOTE!

I purchased this disposal at 6:00AM after removing an old leaking one the night before. We like the compact style and sufficient power. The only quirk was that a 90 degree drain was included and I needed a straight pipe that I had to return to the store to purchase.

This one was easy to install and was quieter than the old one.

I have always used In-Sink-Erator disposals, usually 3 / 4 HP. I decided to give Moen a try because it is slimmer and I was installing the disposal in a large one basin sink with the drain offset towards the right side.In retrospect the In-Sink-Erator would have fit and the Meon seems a whole lot nosier.

The item installed very easily. We went from a waste King 3200 to this. Similar motor size, but the Moen is a lot quieter. Also there is less vibration as well. The Moen drains better to. I highly recommend this product

I have changed a few garbage disposals, but this has got to be the easiest install I have ever had. After watching the video, I had the old one removed and new one installed in less than 45 minutes. This Moen is nice and quiet. I am going to put it through its paces soon! So far has met my expectations based on previous reviews and ease of installation--Thanks
