Still laying tiles but one full box out of 3 I opened had all broken corners on the same corner. Definitely damaged while shipping because the pieces are in the box. Hopefully the rest of the boxes are ok so I’ll use these broken ones for cuts. Damaged tiles aside, they’re great tiles.

I installed this granite on a bar counter and backsplash. 24" deep by 11' feet long. Also cut 4" backsplash. I used a polishing buffer with a polishing kit I bought on line with 5 pads ranging in grit up to 3200 for the final buff. I worked with water running from a hose, not recommended unless you are super careful, and the pads starting at 50 grit. I polished all the exposed edges and then installed it. I had to cut around the sink a very thin strip and grind the edges.

Different packaging suggests that my stone came from two different suppliers and quarries. Dramatically different stone colors in the two different types of boxes and I got 3 broken tiles, too. All for the low price of $900... Unhappy customer here.

The tiles are HEAVY, about 60 pounds with 10 per box. They were packed well and look nice in my bathroom with the recommended charcoal grout. I did have to purchase the threshold online at another establishment located in NJ, as Home Depot does not carry matching thresholds. Luckily it was a perfect match. I only wish the store had tile samples that I could actually look at, which is why I originally went there in person. I did order samples for my 2 choices (it was between this and the black galaxy). I got this one sight unseen because it was listed as a best seller, and the samples arrived after my tiles.

First off I liked the stone fine. I am very curious if they sent the wrong color. The boxes weren’t marked. What I ordered appeared brown on my computer screen. What I got was green. It looked good enough to me and has been installed. I didn’t want to mess with exchanging them. Overall I am happy.

Let’s start from the beginning.. once upon a time there was this customer you see and he need ten cases so he ordered online and it was pretty straight forward as he picked them up from store .. But then one day disaster struck as he was in the middle of finishing up ..it just happened that so far 3 case in counting are bent on the corners creating a gap in the middle .. when I even went all out on the leveling system!!! Why must this store end like this !!!

I bought this tile in order to do some custom CNC engravings/ etchings on granite. Very impressed with the quality of these particular tiles. I could barely take photos of it when I was finished because of the highly polished surface of these things. They are like mirrors! One thing to note to others. They are ridiculously heavy, which is a good thing in my opinion. Great quality and would definitely buy again.

Granite was perfect. Cut easily, matches granite in the kitchen.

The tiles are different thickness so good luck having an even surface after tiling...

I was worried about it not doing a slab of granite but I’m happy I did the 12 x 12 tiles

The tile delivered is lighter than the one shown for sale. Can I replace them for a darker one called guano veneziano polished.

This is very beautiful and expensive looking granite. I had this put in my entryway and also replaced my fireplace. Just an incredible look once it is installed. Has a white and copper flakes inside the black. This matches my dark hardware throughout my condo, my dark cherry color wood cabinets, and dark cherry color curtains. I'll be buying more of this for my kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room floors. The 18"x31" made the installation fast and kept my cost down. I had the installer use very thin grout lines, about a 1/16" with charcoal color grout. I wanted to create the effect of one large piece of granite. Fun note, people are afraid to step on the granite in my entryway. It has a mirror like look to it when the door is opened. It almost looks wet. People will jump to their toes and tip toe around it.

The tile was beautiful and of very high quality. It was used on the wall surrounding the fireplace. It matched perfectly with the Verde Ubatuba Hearth that we had had installed earlier in the year. Shipment was very fast and well packaged. The price was reasonable. I am very pleased with the purchase.

This tile is very beautiful, but we had one box that every tile was broke. Good thing I ordered more than I needed!

This tile is the star of my fireplace surround project. I am very pleased with the appearance and the quality.

This is my 4th try at getting a tile in the price range I wanted. I couldn't seem to find one that was deep or actual black from Home Depot, but this one hit the mark! Although having a little debate with my UPS delivery dispatcher, because of the 60LB weight per case (Feels like a condensed star), the packages were delivered and came very protected (no tiles even chipped). I have not installed it yet, but the tile itself is beautiful. Love the slightly beveled edges, the even cuts, and the shiny slick deep black surface. I have been testing a few on my kitchen counter and they do great with cold and super hot water, no stains and very easily cleaned. Before I saw this tile I was just considering getting cement or porcelain tiles, but real granite is always better and makes a huge difference for look and resale value.

I did my kitchen floor with these. They are exactly what I wanted. They look fantastic. But, if you stand over them, there seems to be a cloudiness under the shine. I’m still looking into refinishing options to sed if it can be fixed.

It looks nice, was hoping it would have been darker. But adds light to my kitchen and very functionally.

It’s perfect out of the 120 tiles only one was chipped used for margins. We just put tiles down this week , what a transformation.

Beautiful granite, but no tiles came with polished edges. We were installing the counter-top and had to look for someone to polish the edge on those that would be visible as we didn't have a system for polishing. An additional expense and time factor. Recommend the advertisement also include this information.

Very smooth and stain resistant. I performed an experiment where I put tomato sauce, red pepper hummus, pomegranate juice, butter, and avocado oil on this tile (see first picture) for 24 hours (see second picture) and it all came off without any staining (see third picture.) Very resilient!

I rated this as a 4 just because I wish the tile had more sparkles in it.

Beautiful on my hearth. Very heavy and elegant looking. Very happy with it. Also a very reasonable upgrade, less than $200 for 12 feet of hearth that only took a couple of days to put in.

These "granite" tiles are actually gabbro by composition, which is a close cousin if basalt! Nevertheless, they are similar to granite for the properties that are required for flooring and walls (e.g., durability, cutting, installation) . The tiles from HD are better quality, more consistent, and look nicer than those from other vendors. And as an added bonus, they were a bit less expensive than anyone else. We purchased 15 cases to redo our counter tops. I cannot truly begin the install as I need to wait for warmer weather because all tiles that are along the edges will be beveled and polished using water and is an outdoor project.
