This fits my Craftsman R-1000. Not the filter's fault, but changing the oil makes a gigantic mes...
This fits my Craftsman R-1000. Not the filter's fault, but changing the oil makes a gigantic mess. Even with the drain adapter, you're still going to spill some oil. Try to raise one side and tilt the mower, and put down plenty of newspaper or rags under it before you drain the oil. More will leak out when you spin the filter off on the other side, so be ready.
