Not too heavy but sturdy. Yes one leg is short but I put a chair keg pad under it. I tried the popcorn setti g, frozen meal, hot soup. I'm happy with it. I just wish the keypad lit up.

When I redid my kitchen I wanted the microwave to be in a cubby. I find traditional in-cabinet microwaves ugly and figured the cubby would give me extra storage around the edges. This was about the only one I could find whose manual would allow it to be installed in a cubby - the others required full clearance off to one side. I've been using it for a few months and am happy. Its basic set of features are fine with me, we use it to reheat coffee and plates of food. I really like the the instant-on 30s button.

Good product and size

Had read reviews (both good and bad) concerning this particular counter top microwave. We were looking for unit that did not take up much space on counter, as we had limitations for width (21") and depth (18"). Also were looking for unit that had integrated handle on door as opposed to push button for opening the microwave's door. This unit seemed to fit the bill. Had read about one of the bottom feet on the microwave being shorter in height that the other three, but thought it may have been an anomaly. Nope. Our microwave had the same issue with one of the feet not being the same height as the other 3. How the heck is that possible? I ended up cutting two pieces of roughly .125" thick gasket material and stacking them under the shorter foot to eliminate the height disparity. Should note that the microwave did slid a bit on our counter top, so I also put some of the gasket material under each of the other feet and it eliminated the sliding (this is why I had to put two pieces of gasket material under the shorter foot). This issue was the only negative thing we have to say about the microwave. We like everything else about the microwave and would not hesitate to recommend it to others, so long as they would not mind the "short leg" issue. Power output is good, interior size is good, and the control panel is pretty user-friendly.

so far so good. I wanted one like my previous Magic Chef 1100 watts however it was not available, had to settle.

Works just fine but very loud when running and 3 beeps when it’s done is loud. Fair price and looks decent.

Micro does the job, but too noisy. The door open towards left, which is good for lefties! MIMA

This is a basic, dependable microwave oven. Can’t say enough good things. I own a Magic Chef washer and a Magic Chef dryer as well and they have been solid and over delivering for me. I would buy a portable dishwasher from them if they made a full sized one. Buy this brand with confidence!

Love my new microwave is small but it's mighty had no problem ordering it it came when it was supposed to would recommend it

Perfect space microwave! I love it!

Item packaged well, handled well in transit arrived in good working order. I like it. It is a lower wattage than I am accustomed to, however, it only requires a few seconds more to do the same job as my old one. I particularly like the pull-open door as the push button latches are prone to wearing out/breaking and my particular old model was not repairable- cheap plastic part on an otherwise good machine, what a shame. Lets save the planet alright, go back to making durable products. So far, this microwave works well and I like it. I have only had it in use for about a month so, time will tell about durability.

The cooking time matches the recommended time listed in recipes. The microwave seems to be solid, simple to use, and without all of the unnecessary bells and whistles.

Works perfectly fine for the power that it has. 900 w meets my needs well. It does make a kind of rattle sound when it's on which I find annoying but that's ok. I used the popcorn button and it popped fully

The microwave did no work right out of the box...did not turn on...no power. I ordered another one, to be delivered tomorrow, hoping it works properly

I had the smaller Magic Chef and it lasted about 10 years. Got rid of it because the bottom where the tray rotates wore down to the metal. This one seems to be flimsy. When I shut the door it slides as it doesn’t have enough weight to stay in place. Other than that it works fine. Keypad is a good size. Not sure about the presets though. I’ve tried and I always have to cook the food longer than the preset.

Needed a unit to fit in a small space! Perfect!

Fits perfectly in the space. Clock set up so fast and easy even I could do it. Love the pull handle. Touch pads and start up kick in almost before your fingers even leave the machine! I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

The loudness was unacceptable. I assumed it was defective and didn't want to use it. Also the way the function buttons worked was very impractical and not like other models. I would not recommend it. Very surprised it was so well rated.

We need a white microwave that was a bit smaller than our old unit. This one is perfect and looks great. Good amount of power and looks great in my white kitchen!
