Great power and battery life

This kit with battery, drill, charger, and bag for 99 bucks? Can’t beat it, quality is great and it was perfect for the kids in the family to use.

Many years ago, I purchased a Makita impact driver and hammer-drill combination set. The hammer-drill has not survived but I continue to use the impact driver. The battery that came with this new drill operates the impact driver just fine.

I like the tool, it’s powerful.

"(0-500 and 0-1,900 RPM)" No this is 500 or 1900. The trigger is way to finicky to have any control on low speed. It's all or nothing. Worst trigger I've ever used on a drill.

Makita is Makita. I own a hammer drill, a regular drill-driver, and an impact. I've used them @ work and around the house. Drills are so-so, (had to warranty the hammer drill after a year) and their customer service is trash. Go with Bosch or Milwaukee, the tools will actually work and do the job. (I own those too, and they do actually work.)

Well worth the price paid for a quality tool. This is my handy go to drill driver for everyday use.
