Purchased this kit from Home Depot and the drill driver was replaced by a hammer drill. I am not happy at all that I have to return it. It was a gift for my Dad’s Birthday! He was so excited till we opened the box and it wasn’t right. Not sure I want to purchase another tool kit from them again.

Had ryobi for 5+years. Worked for me and never let me down. It was time for an up grade though. I seen this Makita set at my local Home Depot on sale for $200. WHAT. $200 for an 8pc 18v brand new power tool kit. I would’ve been a fool to pass this up. This set packs a punch for diy-ers like myself. Super powerful. Lightweight. The 3.0 batteries last forever. I’ve tested every tool and am blown away. Switching from ryobi to this Makita set. What a difference. Again I only paid $200 for this set.

I actually found the 8pc set with 3 drills blower sander circular saw reciprocating saw and flashlight 2 batteries and charger for $200 brand spanking new in sealed box. It was a deal I couldn’t pass up. My Ryobi set has treated me well for 5+years was time for an up grade. But I seen this at that price. I would’ve been a fool to pass it up. Idk if Home Depot made a mistake on this one but it’s mine now. Blower is very strong. Drills work perfect and blow the RYOBI out of the water.

This is the best combo set for the price

Great value for everyday tough use. These are my money makers. To get this amount of tools that are reliable at that price was awesome!

On second week I was using the impact drill to do drywall screwing work. After a few hours of using the tool and it started smoking by the vents . Lost all the torque and it did barely turned.

This set absolutely nails it, I have used 6 of the tools already and they did very well in finishing the job. I sanded my entire deck and main door, replaced some shelves, installed gutters, and more. I totally recommend Makita.

The Mikita drill and impact driver are definitely top quality products. The impact driver has plenty of torque to handle all household tasks (as well as diy construction taskS) that I encounter on a daily basis. The drill also has lots of power as well as a just able torque selections for varying drilling applications. The set comes with 2 18 volt lithium batteries that last a long time between charges. A battery charger is included as well as the handy canvas tote/storage bag to store to store and move from one job site to The next. Highly recommend for quality and durability.

This product was better than expected. Very powerful and lightweight. Great to use and holds a charge for a long time. Great buy.

Small and powerful great set up.

The Makita driver/drill and Impact gun is a very nice combo kit. It comes with 1 driver/drill gun 1 Impact gun 2- 18 volt 1.5 AH Lithium Ion batteries a charger and a carry bag. They both have led light to light up the work surface. They are light weight. That’s with the 1.5 ah batteries. The bigger the battery you use the heavier it will be. They both have plenty of torque and power to drill and drive screws. They also come with belt clip you can install with included screws so you can hang it on your tool belt or pocket for easy access when needed. I love these guns I highly recommend them. I’m sure I will get many years of use out of them.

All I can say is WOW! The Makita 18 volt 8 piece tool kit and storage bag is absolutely fantastic! I now have a complete wood working set of tools that don"t need extension cords! I help my daughter on her little ranch building feed troughs, repairing the barn, repairing her deck, etc and I have had to run extension cords all over her property which has been a pain. These are quality tools with ample power to do whatever task I have in front of me. The batteries are fast charging and I could not be more pleased. Thank you Home Depot and Makita!!

Great brand, the only brand of tools i buy. The brand as never let me down, i bought my first 4 piece combo over 5 years ago and only one of my batteries has gone out and my Impact just gave out on me last month. Thats the reason i bought a new combo with a impact.

Well this combo have been awesome so far Specially the driver so quiet and powerful Also you can adjust the speed as you desire Tha battery charger so fast too..I 'll definitely recommend this combo..

i bought individual pieces before the hurricane as they didn't' have combo kits, i returned them and purchased this which is what i wanted in the first place and this was a great deal and i would totally recommend I love the flashlight as it lights up entire area i use it to take my dog on walk at night, and the drill also has a light on it and is much lighter than my previous drill which is better for my carpal tunnel so coudos to Makita. My son who is in construction got me hooked on Makita and now its my favorite :) i have had it for a few months now and its more than i expected as i have been doing so much around the house that i ordinarily do.

These are some very nice drills from makita.. They are very strong and not expensive for the amount of quality your getting.. They are light weight with plenty of power.. Highly recommend

My super smart wife bought me this set for our tenth anniversary which was seven years ago! I am a custom cabinet maker and do whole bath and kitchen remodels these drill have seen some real miles and still using the same batteries. we payed $300 then so $169 is a steal. Enjoy! Makita makes fine tools. Have some that have been on the job for over 10 yrs. The bits wear out often but the tools remain in good condition.
