Excellent product as compared to other local outlets!!

The product is good when you have enough to choose from. However, Home depot is always almost out of them even though they are the most popular size going. Everybody hates the lumber department at Home depot. It is like every employee in that department is blind, and they can't see that a person needs help..

I've found that buying good lumber at Home Depot is a challenge day to day. Some days all they have is very poor quality and on other days it's very good. On this particular day it was top quality.

Beautiful wood and store personnel very helpful by cutting pieces fir me.

IDIDNT FIND THE RED WOOD TO BE EXCELLENT BUT IT WAS OF AVERAGE QUALITY BUT A PERSON COULD SORT THROUGH IT AND FIND AVERAGE PIECES

It takes more than 10 board to select one board being straight, without split at ends.

Even after careful searching, found lumber mostly with knots, splits and other blemishes. Best to pay top dollar for better tedwood.

I used these to replace some 10 year old redwood planting boxes, easy to work with, reasonably priced, but like most pieces of lumber you have to spend some time going through the pile to select straight, dry units.

The wood is beautiful, but it is difficult to find quality planks. Some are cracked, some are pitted, and yet others are not exactly flat. Some planks are also marred by sap. So, one has to spend a lot of time sifting through the wood to find quality pieces.

Very poor quality wood. Need to dig deep to find a decent piece.

Much of the wood was split and damaged. Must sort be the stack at the store to find usable quality boards.

The quality of their lumber has always been an issue. And never have them deliver lumber that you didn't go in and hand pick, they will give you all the worst stuff.

The product is ok. It is going to be used for raised planter beds. It has a lot of knots. It may be heart redwood but it is not clear. I know the difference.

5 stars, no way? YES WAY. But you have to pick them out yourself. I have build over 30 raised vegetable and planter boxes out of this lumber. I always find great boards. Some stores have them up high, ask them to forklift them down...
