I just received my shipment of (3) 4 packs. 7 of the 12 boards are damaged. They are split down the middle on the end. This is a total waste of $300.00 Now I'm fighting with Big Orange to return it and get my money back.

Pretty knotty considering it's described as heartwood. If you're ripping this for projects or furniture, you should think about buying from a lumber yard where you can pick your own boards. It's kind of pot luck ordering from them. I ordered the 4 pack of 2x6's. I got one decent board out of the lot. The other 3 had lots of knots that I had to cut around... a lot of waste. Just my 2 cents.

This wood was what I expected. It had a few blemishes, large knots, and some cracks but I was able to work around them. I used the wood to build an over-sized deck chair. I used it for the frame and then finished the seat and back with red cedar and clear pine. Overall, I'm happy with the wood but also advise that none of the boards were 100% usable for my purposes. The picture shows the new chair next to a standard sized chair.

Bought for use as raised garden bed. Lumber was in good shape when delivered. Easy to handle and build with. Quality as expected from Construction Heart grade. Drilled pilot holes for SS screws and had no issues.

I used this product to make a screen door for our porch. One out of the four boards had a slight warp to it, but I was able to use it to make the screens so no harm done to my project - it turned out beautiful!

The 4 board pack arrived . One of the boards was warped significantly, one slightly, and board #3 very slight warp. The 4 th was fine. All boards straight. I plan to use segments of board rather than a straight stretch, so this will not be as big a problem, although I would have preferred to have un-warped boards, obviously. Its very difficult to get red wood, so I will use these.

Was thrilled to get the Mendocino Redwood since it's so hard to find. Thank you for the quick delivery.

Nice boards, straight, no cracks or splits, only one or two small knots per board. They were also wrapped in cardboard to protect them during shipping. Exactly what I need to repair my redwood deck.

The lumber was god quality and well packaged I will certainly be ordering more in the spring

For the price I feel all should have been heartwood. One of the boards was almost all white.

Minor warpage, no twisting, couple of minor dings and scuffs from shipping. As expensive as these are, they should have been wrapped top to bottom with cardboard then complete plastic wrap. Shipping was faster than expected.

The second shipment was a great improvement over the original shipment.

Great product

Redwood, though spendy, is beautiful wood. This shipment was above construction grade.

Good lumber. Worked well on my deck repair.

Better than expected!

We ordered 3 packs of 2"x6" 8 ft redwood boards. The boards were beautiful! We asked Home Depot to cut them in half. We used them along with Home Depot's Oldcastle planter wall blocks to build a raised bed. We can see it from our dining room window. It looks great.

Not sure how this is possible, but in the same 4 board bundle, 2 boards were light as a feather and 2 heavy...makes me wonder if I got what I paid for...

It was good quality, but not excellent. I had to fix a few cracks.

This was 5" not 6", a real problem.

Two of the boards had 3 ft of splits in it.
