Merola Tile Hudson Penny Round Denim Blue 12 in. x 12-5/8 in. x 5 mm Porcelain Mosaic Tile, Denim Blue / High Sheen My first choice in tile has always been porcelain! I have gone the real stone route, only to be disappointed because of staining or durability. Marble and granite in a bathroom need sealing, and it can be hard to remove hard water build up on them. Porcelain tile stands up to every cleaner without damage and in my experience, never absorb stains. This is a beautiful blue tile with just enough variation in the color to give a depth of color pleasing to my eye. Also any extra tile will go to our granddaughter's kindergarten teacher, to be used in projects with the kids.

Love, Love, Love this tile! I chose this tile because I have to add some style on the drywall above my bathtub surround but I needed it to blend with the existing white/gray/and dark gray hexagon floor tiles and my putty-gray vanity. This crystalline grey tile is perfect! It has a sheen to it and a pearlescent type of speckle on each tile which gives it a texture as well, making it good for flooring too. Be careful when handling the sheets because some of the penny tiles may fall off. I had to use an adhesive to put them back onto the mesh sheet. I'm going to use a matching grout so it doesn't make my bathroom look too busy. I've used penny tiles in my last couple of houses and it's super easy to install because you can easily work around plugs and different widths and heights without having to use a large tile saw. You can just remove the tiles or cut out the section you need removed. If I need a couple of extra inches at the top or side of a row, I can just cut off what I need from another tile. Great for a DIY project. I've also used these tiles on top of a wood coffee table that I made. Looks great and is an easy project!

These tiles are absolutely beautiful. I used them on a mosaic project. The small round size makes them perfect for filling in odd spaces while making mosaics. The mesh backing is easily cut and you are able to simply place individual penny rounds into the mosaic work. The penny rounds remind me of polka dots and add a real fun pop of color to your project.

Very nice porcelain mosaic tile. Comes ten sheets to a box. Nice weight and fits together nicely. Comes in more than a dozen colors can be used both indoor and outdoor. I used it for a backspace by a basement sink to brighten up an otherwise drab sink area. Has a one year warranty. I used mastic adhesive with no difficulty. Since I used it as a backsplash I didn’t need to grout, but a necessity if using as a flooring.

Nice porcelain mosaic tiles in noir which is black. These tiles have high sheen and will be easy to install because they are attached to a mesh backer which makes them easy to handle. There are less than eleven square feet of tile in each box which is less tile that needed for a big tile job. These will be used to tile the top of an accent table to give it an updated and durable surface.

These white round penny tiles are really nice! There are less than eleven square feet of tile per box which makes it too little tile for a big job but an adequate number of tiles for a craft type project. I am planning to tile a small accent table top withe the tiles. These tiles are shiny white porcelain with a darker edge and are easy to install because they are attached to a mesh backing.

These "dot" or Penny Round tiles are a lot of fun and I can imagine a multitude of places and ways to use them. They come attached to a mesh backer, so you can use an entire sheet or cut into smaller squares or even strips. I can also see taking the individual tiles off the backing and using the individual tiles as accents, or to make"flowers" , outline other elements, etc. Nice colors and very shiny. The "Noir" is quite dark, but mine appear to have a very dark bluish cast to them (but still very nice). As someone who does tile work but also mosaic arts, these are a great, fun find.

This is a beautiful Merola porcelain mosaic tile Hudson penny round crystalline White comes in sheets of 12 Inches and 12 5/8 inches with 5 mm thickness. It has a high sheen. It installs very easy as you can modify as needed by cutting the webbing in the back. I installed this in my master bathroom shower which has a very small shower in it but it looks pretty now! I am a 62 grandmother and it was easy for me to lay this tile. You can do it too! It has a very nice shine to it which did not come across on the pictures as I would have liked. The walls of my shower are a subway tiles in light grey almost a blue tint to them which does create the dots looking like a they have a blueish tint as well using that powder white grout. The grout I used should have been a little bit more bland instead of powder white. I think if I did it over again, I would have used a grey grout to show off how white the tile is on the floor. Love the new tile floors as this was a new shower being updated for my upcoming old age.

this is the second time I used the Hudson Penny Round design 12 inch tiles. this time in my bathroom for a very small backsplash about 2 inches I continued it down the side of vanity by one 12 inch tile and it looks great. this Noir high sheen is a very pretty deep blue the picture does not do it justice. Very easy to install and I will definitely be using these Hudson Penny round tile again.

The porcelain mosaic 12 inch square tile are perfect tile to use on back splashes that have a lot of abstacles to go around. Very easy to cut around light boxes and windows. I have done some tiling before so I say install is very easy. The penny round design looks great and the textured surface give the perfect affect I was looking for. Very nice look.

I just got in a box of Merola Tile Hudson Penny Round Lavender 12 in. x 12-5/8 in. x 5 mm Porcelain Mosaic Tile, Lavender / High Sheen . I have used this same brand before on a previous project with great results. I usually will stick with a brand that works. Penny round is not easy to cut unless you tape together with duct tape and cut with a wet saw. I am going to use this as an accent tile band in another bathroom similar shown in the picture where I used white penny rounds. Looks great, pretty easy to use as long as you have some experience with ceramic tile.

We decided to try these purple round tiles in our powder room as a flooring upgrade. We received these tiles intact and in great condition the color was a slightly lighter color then we thought they would be, they lean more towards a lavender but will go with our color scheme. We have not laid them yet since we have a few other things to get done. We still have other floor tiles coming in to go along with these and want to make sure our spacing is going to be correct. I would recommend these tiles.

Merola Tile Hudson Penny Round in the snowcap color is a white tile with an brownish edging around each tile. You can see the brownish edging in the close-up photo. This tile is just gorgeous. It is a very glossy finish. Since tiles will have a lot of grout, I think you could use these on a floor and not be worried about slipping. However, they would be beautiful used on the wall too. We also got the silk white colored penny round. It is also very pretty. The snowcap color has a slight grey cast and the silk white is a bit creamy. I would not call either tile a bright white color.

This Merola Tile Hudson Penny Round Tile in storm grey is just beautiful. However, if you are expecting a grey color, you may be disappointed. There is quite a bit of blue in the grey color. I tried to capture the color in my photos, and the photo on the Home Depot website is not bad. Merola tile has many beautiful tiles on the Home Depot site. I often look at the Merola tiles when I want something stylish but not too expensive. Penny round tiles are just so nice looking. We plan to use the tile this winter when we finish our basement. The finish is a very attractive high sheen. The box of tiles arrived quickly and they were packed well so everything was intact.

This Merola Tile Hudson Penny Round Crystalline Grey Mosaic Tile is very attractive. I got this in the white and in the gray color. I will peel off some of the tiles on the mesh so I can mix the two colors in a pattern for a shower floor. The Crystalline finish makes the tiles have a texture so they will be very safe for the shower floor. You can see the texture in the close-up photo. I have loved penny round tiles for a long time and I am so happy to be able to use them in our shower area. I think they have a bit of a retro look. However I think they can be used in many designs. Merola does a great job providing stylish tiles for Home Depot.

I was hoping to get a proper tile which can be laid on the floor or on the wall as the description clearly doesn't say what kind of tile it was. I bought this online so had to go by the description. When i got this i found this was not the solid kind of tile but more of netted mini-tiles kind of thing. So i was disappointed at that as i was planning to use something like this for wall and floor in basement. It would be nightmare to maintain and clean the areas between the gaps

Beautiful tile, beautiful color, perfect for my project.

Bought two boxes of this penny tile for our powder room renovation. Had to return one box due to a quality control issue where the tiles were not properly glazed, but HD took them back without issue. The tiles seem to be high quality and laid down nicely over thin-set mortar. I installed them with a modified thin-set over a plywood subfloor with two 3/4" sheets of OSB plywood. I cut them with a tile nipper and it worked OK although I did crack the tile about 10% of the time. All of my cuts will be covered with baseboard, toilet, or vanity. I would NOT want to use these in an area where I had to make many cuts that were visible. I am using dark grout which will hide any inconsistencies in spacing between sheets which would be VERY visible if I were using a light colored grout. Overall I am satisfied with the product.

Really beautiful and versatile. Was my first time with such small tiles but it still looks pretty good. A more experienced tiler would make a masterpiece

Love this tile! Restored a bathroom in a 1920 home and used this on the floor with a blue subway tile on the wall (and a mosaic tile up high). The mint green against the dark blue is absolutely striking. There is the original wood floor throughout the rest of the home and this brings light to the bath. Still need to finish the trim work but you can get the idea.

We used a combination of 3 Merola penny round tiles to create a custom mosaic accent wall in our spa-themed bathroom renovation. The design is meant to break up what is a long narrow room, and evoke the feeling of bubbling spring water. The penny rounds were a perfect compliment to the reclaimed wood vanity counter my husband made. So happy with the results! The three Merola penny round mosaic used were Metro Penny Matte White, Metro Penny Matte Light Blue, and Hudson Penny Round Blue Eye. The selection of penny rounds available from Merola is pretty wide, allowing us to bring in the color and texture we wanted. We also used Merola Matte finished bullnose trim pieces - the trim being the same thickness as the penny rounds gave us a neat material transition detail at the top of the wainscot and at the door frame. It was so much fun to be able to mix and match tile finishes within the Merola brand to create the unique installation we envisioned. Great products!!

The tile coloring is well represented & even MORE beautiful in person. I think of it as many different shades of a latte. It was exactly what I was looking for AND more. It suits my 1950’s Ranch! It even FEELS luxurious. I’m so happy with my purchase. ❤️ I would definitely recommend it!

Really liked how this tile looked! After reading the previous review we knew it was going to be more of a teal color and not green, so was not surprised by the color. All the tile sheets arrived in good condition (none were broken) a couple of the tiles were glazed together but this wasn't super noticeable.
