I ordered the sample pack to see if it matched the rest of my project. 5 out of 10 tiles arrived broken. The tiles themselves were exactly what I was looking for. Let’s just hope 50% are not broken when I order enough for the shower.

Straight Stack Design
Overall we are extremely happy with our Soho Subway Matte Tile. I wanted a clean modern look so we had our tiler to a straight stack. The only reason I am giving this tile a 4 star review and not 5 is because each tile is not absolutely 100% the same length, they are off the slightest amount, but when doing a straight stack the grout lines would be slightly crooked, so our tiler diligently when through every box grouping them by length before installing. If you are not doing a straight stack you would never notice the extremely small length difference.

Even if all the tiles come from the same caliber, the tiles can still be slightly off from one another. The main way to avoid this issue is to purchase rectified tiles, which have their sides ground down to a precise measurement. The other method you can use to combat this issue would be to use a larger grout joint. Thanks for the feedback!

Used these tiles for a backsplash and they look great! Extremely happy. Note: they come as individual tiles, the picture makes it look like they are attached as a square foot section, but they are individual tiles in a small box.

I purchased this tile for our kitchen remodel. They were shipped directly to the house and arrived in perfect condition. They were packed in small boxes surrounded by moldable foam and not one tile arrived damaged. They are well made and look gorgeous.

Perfect
We used this tile for a herringbone patterned backsplash and it turned out great. It was hard to find a smaller size that was more rectangular than square. I bought samples from a number of stores and am happy that we chose this - great for a small kitchen. I did order about 15% more because the herringbone creates more tile waste. I could not find a trim that I liked so we used caulk on the edges. I would recommend this especially if you want a subway-style look, with a twist.

These are decent tiles however many are cupped and slightly unsquare. I bought them solely because I liked the dimensions. There aren't a lot of options for 2" x 8" subway tiles. Buy a few boxes and lay them out before fully committing so you can see the variances. They're made in China and you get what you pay for.

Rectangular tiles of all sizes suffer from this issue slightly. When rectangular tiles go through the firing process, they tend to warp ever so slightly. This is an unfortunate side effect when trying to create a rectangle shape. Thank you for your feedback.

They are pretty tiles, and we are pleased with the design. I give 2 stars (Fair) because it's super fragile and impossible to cut them if you need to cater them for the size/shape of the area you are tiling. We certainly don't recommend to use them for flooring like we did. Within a week one of the tiles cracked in 3 pieces when someone stepped on it while carrying a heavy box but wearing sneakers. It's that fragile. On a side note, these tiles come individually in a box, rather than as laid-out sheets like some other small tiles are sold as. Our contractor had to charge us some extra for the added labor hours, so you might want to make a note of it.

We are the distributer of this tile, and we wanted to assure you that these tiles are safe for floor usage. The issue you described with tiles cracking when somebody walked on it seems very peculiar. There are a few factors that play into the break strength of a tile, such as the sub floor. If one aspect of the installation is done incorrectly or improperly, issues can arise from this.
When looking at the breaking strength of a tile, the raw number itself is fairly misleading. The test is conducted in a laboratory, where a small point is pressed into an unsupported tile. This tells you the unsupported breaking strength of the tile which is vastly different from when it is installed on a floor.
We apologize if our content made it seem like these come on mesh backing. We want to assure future customers that these are sold as a pack of 10 individual tiles and not on a mosaic sheet.
