Sturdy and hardwearing, I have always purchased Milwaukee Torx impact bits as they generally last a lot longer than the competition. These 3 1/2 inch versions are great at getting into tighter spaces and fit easily into my impact drive and drill/driver tools. The tip is hardened which means that they are less likely to crack after a few uses, a bonus as I was completing two bigger projects in building a deck or pergola. Both were far easier to complete with these bits.

The Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE 3-1/2 in. Torx T30 Impact Duty Screwdriver Bit is a high quality bit. A great bit, especially if you are driving in a large number of screws. These are made for a 1/4 in. Impact driver. They also fit in any standard drill/driver, but they won't fit in my hand impact driver. I will definitely be ordering more SHOCKWAVE T30 bits.

Milwaukee 3-1/2” T20 Torx head screwdriver bit comes in a 1-pack, 2-pack or 5-pack set. After using the bits to assemble stairs to my 2 sliding patio doors I’m convinced that a simple job like that would not require more than 1 bit. Each of the two stairs for each of the two slider doors had 9-Torx Screws. I drilled pilot holes to assure the screws started correctly. The 3-1/2” bit allowed me to hold the bit rather than the screw threads. The latter could be dangerous as the threads are razor sharp. As you can see in the attached video I’m using a 12v Dewalt quick release power screwdriver that hold the Torx bit well. The assembly took under 10 minutes. I discovered that the Milwaukee screwdriver bits are slightly magnetic. When set on a workbench with metal shavings the bit collected the shavings for me. The torx bit is a perfect fit for the screw head. I used both the T20 and the T25 bit for different screw sizes.

While I only use this size bit for metal work, on the rare occasion that I need it, the Milwaukee drivers are great. Particularly for stainless screws where the heads can strip fairy easily, these T10’S fit tightly and do not wear, thereby ensuring that this is not a problem. As a carpenter I will admit that I most often rely on the larger sizes, but a couple of these in my toolbox is well worth having. I never know when I might need them for the odd steel gazebo roof or assembling something where T10’s are required.

Tough and long lasting. While Torx T20’s are doubtless the most reliable screw configuration on the market, driver shoulders will eventually wear out. For my applications, I prefer Milwaukee drivers because of their long life. They retain a sharp edge and show little shoulder wear, far better than many of their competitors. In addition, the ductility of the shafts ensures that there is just enough give to prevent breakage, due to excessive torque if the screw jams while driving into knotty wood. I find that no matter how much abuse they suffer, these bits will reliably take on whatever I dish out.

I am sure that there are many applications for these drivers where they are commonly used. Frankly, I have been in the trades as a carpenter for years and have found that Milwaukee drivers are reliable and long lasting. Recently though, I needed to disassemble a swing set and play gym that was put together with T30’s. They were severely rusted, so I knew I needed a driver that would stand up to serious abuse, without stripping or breaking. Since I have long relied on other Milwaukee sizes and configurations, I naturally turned to a brand that I trust. As expected, despite my using a high torque drill, with a touch of oil and a firm grip, I was able to take these units apart quite easily. The bit kept its sharp corners and fit perfectly, even into heavily rusted screws. As with all of their products, I give this one two thumbs up!

I was interested to see how durable these impact drivers are so I put it to the test using my Milwaukee 2753-20 impact driver. Of course, being only a T30, I wasn't going to put it thru too much torque - but I can attest to the amount of bite the wear guard tip has at high speeds and it has plenty. The "shockzone" built into the shaft should extend the life of the bit by absorbing excessive torque

When it comes to impact driver bits I've busted numerous brands including even Milwaukee, thankfully Milwaukee has a very easy warranty process where they just send you new ones when you show you managed to break a bit under normal use. When the new shockwave line of bits came out I've found they are a lot stronger as I have managed to only break 2 installing 5in lag screws. For Impact Drivers I find that the 3 1/2 in length is optimal, allowing for easy access in most projects.

The Milwaukee Shockwave 3 1/2 inch Torx 25 bit is the best fitting Torx bit I have used. The bit fits snugly in the screw socket and the magnetic tip will hold the screw in place making it easy to drive. According to the manufacturer, the bit is made from a custom heat treated alloy steel which prevents wear and provides for a very long and durable life.

Great Bit! I recently added an Cordless Impact Drill to my garage and have been using my usual bit tip holder and the various tips that applied. But I saw these and gave them a try. I'm glad I did. The Impact just works better with these types of bits in them. The quick connect and removal is great. I love how these bits lock into the receiver. The Milwaukee Bits have been phenomenal to use. They seem to handle my abuse without showing the wear my other bits (not made for impact drivers) do. I am impressed and will add more to my toolbox. The #30 Torx bit fit nicely into the big lumber screws I was using on my pole barn. The bit that had been included w/ the screws showed some wear after a few uses, but the Milwaukee bit look good as new after using several times. Great Product!

T-25 Torx bits These T-25 torx bits from Milwaukee are the real deal. They lock into the quick release collet on my cordless impact driver solidly. I use these bits a lot as all of the fasteners on any decks that I have use T-25. These bits interface nicely with the deck screws. I’ve used the bits to back out old deck screws that are over 12 years old. Sometimes the screws are buried in the decking and you have to feel for the fastener as the bit locks on to the screwhead. These bits are great for that use. Phillips head screws get no outdoor use at my home and I only use Torx screws.

Milwaukee Shockwave impact duty Torx 30 screw driver bits. Torx driver fasteners are becoming more common and for good reason, torx bits have a better mechanical connection to the fasteners than Philips head, and the better the connection the more fasteners you can drive and the higher your productivity. I like these torx bits because they are designed to stand up to driving literally hundreds of square drive fasteners before failing. The shock adsorbing feature is another thing I like; without it, the hammer drive feature of Milwaukee drivers will cause regular bits to twist apart. I like to be able to put a fastener on the driver bit and it not fall off, if a fastener is not tight enough to stay on the bit while you are lining it up to drive it in, it’s going to slow you down.

Of all the bits I use on a regular basis the torx is my new preference. The Milwaukee bits seem to last longer that some of the others I have used in the past and being that I have a Milwaukee impact driver it only makes sense to me to use a Milwaukee bit. I like hat 3 1/2" because it give you a little more length so your not having to look around the tool as much to see whats going on.

I am happy with the Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE 3-1/2 in. Torx T30 Impact Duty Screwdriver Bit set. The T30 torx bit fits the bolt heads snuggly, without needing to be forcefully seated. The extended reach bit lengths is nice, too. The longer reach makes it easier to get into tight spaces without having to worry about the drill chuck marring up nearby surfaces. The extension also acts as a shock absorber when using an impact tool, and prevents the bit from snapping under load, by absorbing some of the torque. Another nice feature is the strong magnetic tip. When working with steel bolts this is a great bonus to have... no dropped bolts or screws! Overall, this 2-bit set is a decent quality kit that should be a good addition to your tool cart or tool belt.

Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE Impact Duty 3-1/2 in. T15 Torx Alloy Steel Screw Driver Bit (2-Pack) As usually Milwaukee hits the mark with a harden Torx bit that is magnetic and precise. It is very sharp and well cut. I didn't have any trouble fitting it in a Torx head, but it was a nice tight fit in the head. I also ran the screw in very tight with no cam-out or anything stripping or the bit breaking.

The Milkwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty 3 1/2 inch T20 Torx Alloy Steel Screwdriver bit 2 pack is top notch. I have been using Milwaukee products for years and they never seem to disappoint. The have a nice length and great absorption to prevent breakage. The steel alloy prolongs the life of the bit so you will be using it for awhile. Also, has a nice fit to prevent stripping.

These Milwaukee Shockwave 3-1/2 in. T 25 impact Duty alloy Steel screwdriver bits were sent to my house in a box and everything was in the box. I need the bits to work on my hot water heater I needed to take the cover plate off the bottom where I can clean the combustion area because they have Torx T25 screws in the cover. These extended-reach 3-1/2 bits worked out great for me. I would also like to add the tips of the Milwaukee Shockwave torx bits fit snugly into the screw head. I would not hesitate to purchase these again. I come to find out Milwaukee makes a real good product. I recommend these 100% and give them 5 stars

These are high quality impact torx bits. A couple of very important points about these and where you should use them. Torx bits are used for torx head screws. They range in size from T15 to T30 for your most common residential applications. These are impact rated for use in a power impact drill. They will fit right in the 1/4 collet and most impact extensions.

I ordered the Milwaukee Shockwave 3 -1/2 in. Torx T-15 impact Duty alloy steel screwdriver bit ( 2- pack ) because I want to change over from Phillips head screws. It was shipped to my house in a box with bubble wrap and there was no damage to the bit's. I chose the 3-1/2 in. Bit's so I wouldn't have to use an extension and the reason why I went with the Milwaukee is because they are rated up to 50x the life of ordinary bits. Milwaukee makes a great product these torx T-15 will not strip the head out of the screw that's why I purchased these. Of course I do recommend these Milwaukee Torx T-15 bits you can depend on them.

I have used the torx bit setup for a long time now. Of course the first screws for drivers were Philip heads and they worked okay, but it did not take long for the bit to have enough wear to start easily stripping screw heads. When the torx came a long it was a game changer. I found that the Milwaukee bits to be of top quality and took a lot of hammering before they would break or start stripping screws. Having this length of bit also gives you the ability to reach into a spot that you can't get your driver head into without adding an extension that absorbs the impact from the driver. I do like the Milwaukee bit line up.

These Milwaukee shockwave T10 torx bits are excellent bits, they work great for small security screws. I made the change over to Milwaukee shockwave last year, the bits hold up great and only used 2 bits threw out the year. Always figure all bits were the same and always used the bargain bits, even thou I went threw a few during projects figured it still cheaper then expensive brands. Now I use only T torx bits because of the durability and hardly ever have a stripped or round out screws anymore, so not only saving money on bits but a lot more on screws also. Pay the extra couple of dollars, you’ll save in the long run. Would absolutely recommend these Milwaukee T10 Torx bits to anyone without hesitation.

I have switched over to Milwaukee Torx T bits, I build 2x4 benches and even made my own 2x4 kitchen table and bench’s using only star screws. These Milwaukee shockwave torx T15 bits are just awesome, no more round outs you get from Phillips #2 screws. So far after 1 season of switching over I only used 2 Milwaukee T15 bits, the first malfunction was do to user error and still using the second one after using over 800 T15 torx screws. I use a different brand of tool line and there bits was very disappointing, after paying a few dollars more I will only use Milwaukee shockwave or any Milwaukee bits from this day forward.

Having the right size bit for the screw is the only way to prevent stripping out the head while driving it. This bit has a great grip and the tip is made from metal that does not wear out quickly like other, normal bits. The 2" length also gives you a bit more room so that you can see what you are working in. The long bit keeps the chuck to the driver back far enough so that it does not block your view and it also lets the light shine on the screw better.

Within the Milwaukee Shock Wave series of Impact Duty Bits, T10s are offered in a 2 pack of 3 ½” length. The bits are designed to fit ¼” hex impact drivers, ¼” Drill driver chucks and quick-lock ¼” chucks. Size is engraved at the base of the bit shaft. Milwaukee has a branded name for their wear guard tip which boasts a 50x’s longer life than comparable bits. The T10 head is noticeably smaller than the shaft of the bit, which inhibits the use of this bit in pre-fabricated surfaces with deep set torx screw placement beyond 1 ½’. This forward area of the bit is designated as the “optimized shock zone” designed to absorb peak torque and thus prevent early breakage. The shock zone is marked in the Milwaukee trademark red for easy reference. The composition of these bits is Alloy76 steel, engineered to life extension of the bit. This product is distributed by Milwaukee Tool, manufactured in China.

Within the Milwaukee Shock Wave series of Impact Duty Bits, T15s are offered in a 2 pack of 3 ½” length. The bits are designed to fit ¼” hex impact drivers, ¼” Drill driver chucks and quick-lock ¼” chucks. I evaluated their application with both a quick-lock chuck and a 3/8 drill chuck. Size is engraved at the base of the bit shaft. Milwaukee has a branded name for their wear guard tip which boasts a 50x’s longer life than comparable bits. The T15 head is about the same diameter as the bottom half of the bit shaft. The area just behind the tip is noticeably smaller in diameter than the rest of the bit body. I'm a big fan of the new-fangled "Engineered" self-drilling, self-tapping screws make by GRK and others. I keeps several sizes and types on hand. I probably never will use up my boxes of old-style Phillips Head screws. I especially like the "Headless" Trim Screws made by GRK. The problem is cam out. The Torx T10 bits that come in the boxes of screws don't hold up long. The star teeth wear down and I'll strip out the tiny head of a "headless" fastener about halfway in. Great. Break out the rotary tool to grind it away. Milwaukee makes 2" long T10 bits with Wear Guard Tips, Alloy76 and Shock Zone torsion features to battle the dreaded cam out problem. This is mission critical when using these headless trim fasteners. I like these way better than the bits that come with the box of screws.

Milwaukee shockwave 2 inch #T15 Torx bits These T15 shock wave wear guard tips are impact duty and made from custom alloy steel to grip better and last a long time over 50 times longer than some other tips. I have worn out/striped other brand tips just using them by hand. The tips fit great and I no longer have to worry about strip out and they are impact duty.Get these and other great Milwaukee tools at Home Depot on line or in the store They work for me
