Work well, but smaller bits are too short
These bits work fine overall and it’s nice that I can quickly change between them in my impact or drill; however, the smaller bits are too short. With any standard 1/8”drill bit I can usually get through a 2x4. I can even do it with a 7/64” bit if I keep it light in the chuck. So that’s a flaw in my opinion. I’m glad they give you two of each for sizes 5/32” and below, but getting bits in and out of the case isn’t particularly easy.

Terrible case design
I have not even used the drill bits yet, but already hate the case. The set I ordered on Sep 21, 2023. The case is not a continuous hinge like is shown in the picture. It has 2 separate hinges with a finger sized gap in the middle. If you hold the case like I did you will hate it as soon as you close the case. As far as the drill bits go, I plan of saving these for light duty (no metal) so I don't break any.

Great M12 set.
These are my go to tool set I use 90 percent of the time. They have a lot of power for most jobs and are compact for tight places. They are lighter to use for overhead work or on a latter so they don't hurt your wrist or arms as much. I bought them as kit for 99 dollars. Batteries and charger. I bought the 6ah batteries so I could stand them up and use longer too. HD is authorized seller for warranty service is also very important to me. Came new in original mfg. box.

I ended up getting the same set cheaper
So i ended up returning the item in reveiw. I got the exact same set with more bits for a lot cheaper by simply visiting the store on black friday. Excellent customer service that day and my son is happy that he can help his day with some cool projects in the future.

I wasn’t impressed
I paid top dollar for these 40!It did help to bite faster an prevent some walking. The double tip isn’t present on the smaller bits so they aren’t designed with the same technology so that’s no good. I was drilling some angle iron an running it hard had them literally explode in my face it was the two big bits be careful

Break easily
Trying to drill pilot holes thru stainless steel metal I broke several bits (1/16" (2), 5/64" (2), 3/32" and 7/64" (2)). Also burnt out the tip of the 1/4" drill bit drill on regular metal.

worth it for the price
For what it cost (99.99) at the time (6/2021) its worth it. Perfect for removing interior bolts and/or drilling sheet metal. I have not drilled anything over 1/4 dia so i a not sure how it will work with a bigger drill. But compared to others overall I love it

Does not hold up to stainless steel
I have always believed that Milwaukee tools were high quality. I have both their 12V Cordless Impact Driver and Drill. Also have a couple of their lights. I purchased their Shockwave drill bits and impact driver sets to use with the impact driver and drill. I had my first opportunity to use these drill bits yesterday; had to drill holes on our stainless steel baking rings. The drill bits could not even make it through 3 holes. I dug out my old Black & Decker drill bits to finish the job. Now I'm stuck with expensive and useless bits. Not recommended.

not Great
Milwaukee usually has a good reputation but these bits are just terrible. I bought these in late December and I broke 5 bits already, 7/32, 9/64, 3/16, 1/4, and 3/8 in January first time using them. Setting is on a 1 on my impact driver and I was a wood block to stabilize. I was drilling soft aluminum and the tips just snap.

Great for light-duty jobs but nothing medium or heavy duty like framing 2x4s with big drill bits
I bought this combo kit and was super excited. I put on a 3/4" pilot-tipped spade bit and began drilling through a 2x4 top plate in my house use the 1 speed setting for control/safety. The drill tapped the spade pilot tip in just fine. Then, the moment the spade hit, it began to bog down and smoke came out the back in seconds. I could see the smoke in my headlamp in the attic. I immediately stopped and let the drill cool down so I didn't do further damage. I was applying no pressure and let the pilot tip do the work. I backed off the moment the drill bound up. I've used dozens of drills in my life as a career engineer and also as a handyman. This light-duty drill wasn't up to the job to tackle drilling holes in 2x4s for electrical work.
Then, I tried the Milwaukee with a 3/4" pilot-tipped auger bit and the same thing happened. The drill ran out of torque in moments. I applied zero pressure, only letting the weight of the drill do the pushing. I didn't even get through the first of 3 of the 2x4s (thick top plate) and the battery read 2 out of 4 battery dots. I made sure to go really slow and apply no pressure, stopping and backing out the moment the drill got stopped. I have a dozen holes I need to drill. I'll never get the job done at this rate and will likely kill the otherwise Milwaukee nice drill.
I switched to my cheap corded Ryobi 3/8" drill, using the same pilot & auger bits, on the top plate. It bogged down a bit but didn't give up. It blew through the 2x4 in moments with both the spade and auger bits.
This is a nice light-duty 3/8" drill but it won't get the job done with 2x4s and pilot-tipped (screw) spade and auger bits bigger than 5/8", though safer with 1/2" spade bits. That's a big maybe because the drill slows down a lot once it gets to 2/4 battery dots, letting the bits get jammed. Bigger pilot-tipped bits are too aggressive for this drill. If you use standard, non-pilot tipped spade bits, it'll be okay up to 5/8" knowing you won't get many holes done. I tested and tested - the pilot tip pulls the bit in too hard for the 3/8" Milwaukee with zero weight applied to the drill. You can see in the picture where the Milwaukee drill runs out of power using a stubby auger bit. The other holes were made with my corded drill with various bits with very little bog-down. I've never tried pilot-tipped bits until now - wow do they get the job done fast with a drill with real power. They're too much for this drill.
I tried basic metal and other drill tasks and this one works just fine. Just not for drilling bigger holes in framing 2x4s.
Clearly this has to be my mistake - I expected way too much and it's probably not fair to use anything past a 1/2"-5/8" pilot-tipped spade & auger bits with a 3/8" Milwaukee drill. I'm going to try the 1/2" drill brushless Milwaukee model instead. I don't have time to stop, back out, and recharge for this job and hope the drill doesn't smoke.

compare M12 or vs M18 drill driver/ impact driver
OK after 2 yrs of owning both I will hopefully steer you in the right direction. First off I want to say I bought the m12 set. It was super light, fast and stood up to everything I put in front of it. And for the price this was a no brainer. Extremely happy. I thought this was it. Then I bought the M18 for my cabin work. Wow, Can Milwakee make a better driver set then the M12? Yes, the M18. The main pro is the drill does not go into impact mode as quickly or often as the M12 has too. If you are unfamiliar with impact mode it is a loud banging noise that helps the drill get more torque to drill/drive screws. My daughters are always yelling at me when i'm doing projects in the home renovation when the impact mode kicks in and it is so loud. The second biggest pro of the M18, that i did not think about, was that you can stand your drill and impact driver on the ground. with th M18 you have to lay it on it side. This was a big inconvenience was I was framing in basement walls.
Bottom line, If you have the money I would not hesatate to buy both sets. Instead of switching out drill bits I just switch out drills. The M12 set you can get for $99 bucks on fathers day. But, if you are only going with one set, buy the M18. Don't cheap out on this one get the m18 and never look back.

Trash.
Had one of these break drilling a pilot hole into plaster, and another one broke just going into a piece of maple. If Milwaukee tools are really this bad that’s a shame, but i suspect that Home Depot is selling an inferior version.

Drill and driver work as good as the 18v ones, but less than half the weight. I bought this set so my kids could help me with projects and they are perfect. My daughter (7) and son (3) can handle them easily enough. Battery life is about what I expected, maybe 15 to 20 min of intermittent hard work drilling and driving into pine studs. The saw also works well and is super easy to handle, it kills the battery fairly quick and the short stroke on it makes some cutting tedious. This set is definitely for light work, but perfect for little helpers. And the price was great.

I want my money back
These drill bits drill nice, but when installing hardwood floor for the starter strips I drilled pilot holes for standard finish nails. I snapped 3 bits by drilling through the hardwood and accidentally hitting nails in the subfloor. After the first drill bit snapped I was very gentle about drilling subsequent holes. But unfortunately as careful as I was, I still snapped 2 additional bits. I’m going to see if Home Depot can return these for me. $45 is too much for my wallet on a product that breaks this easily.

Dulled in a month
This was my first and last purchase of Milwaukee drill bits. I used these on our house interior walls. The walls have a textured paint over drywall. This proved too much for these bits. Several of the bits dulled to the point they're now worthless. I barely got the curtains hung and TV's mounted before having to pull out a twenty year old set of Black and Decker bits to put knobs on the kitchen cabinets. I hope I just got a bad batch, but who knows.

Very durable and well made
This drill bit set features 15 different size bits and a total of 23 pcs. These bits are very strong and have not yet broken unlike many of my other bit sets. These bits are all neatly organized in a compact and durable case. Each bit is clearly labeled in the case. The product is all around great for any job and set at a very affordable price.

I love Milwaukee tools, especially these M12 Fuel tools! The 2 driver combo kit we purchased off the shelf was defective. The chuck was not concentric with itself. It ran in a somewhat oval shape. It was the last box on the shelf and the box looked damaged. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt, and it was probably not Milwaukee or Home Depot's fault. Home Depot quickly helped me return it and I purchased another kit. The second one came in working great. My co-workers and I work on smaller motors and such. We do not need any larger drill. The weight is great, it's just heavy duty enough for a quality tool, and just light enough to use all day without someone complaining. I now own many Milwaukee products. Perfect. 5 star review

I brought the Milwaukee SHOCK WAVE IMPACT DUTY Titanium Drill Bit Set (23-Piece) to complete an electric box relocation project. I replace a hard wired electric Range Hood with a Microwave/Range Hood which needed an electric receptacle to plug into to place over a new Electric Range we recently brought. The drill bits worked excellent and made easy work for the relocation and the wiring of the electric box.. I recommend this product.
