I challenged the tool right out of the box to help me remove a stubborn outdoor deck bracket with hopelessly frozen mounting screws. As a long time owner of a contractor grade Fein Multi-master corded tool I was curious if this smaller cordless tool could handle this type of application. I mounted a well used Bosch carbide tip metal cutting blade from my Fein Toolbox and secured it for operation using the Milwaukee supplied adapter to fit most blades available from other similar tools. I was able to cleanly and quickly slice through the metal screws and remove the bracket without needing to drag out an extension cord. While the M12 is not for heavy duty use such as all day cutting jobs or those that require cutting heavy metal, this M12 tool is winner and a real value that belongs in DiYer's and homeowners toolboxes.

Charged the new battery, when fully charged reading was only 8 volts instead 12 as stated. Though it works well with the tool.

I've a hope chest of 3rd generation old tools. Receiving this modern version of a Reciprocating saw was a blast! I've spent hours looking for the right tool to put a blade on an old reciprocating saw. I'm having fun just using a couple of fingers to twist a knob with the Quik-Lok blade clamp. The grip is small enough for a woman, with rubber to make it easy to control. This isn't a tool I've used often. I've never had one I could grip and control. I'm looking forward to learning new things to do with it besides basic wood cutting. This Hackzall can be bought as an add on to the 12 Volt Red Lithium Ion Tools with Battery Kits, like the Brushless Drill. They come with an extra battery so both tools can be used in one project. Lastly, if you didn't notice in the specs, this has a 5, Five year warranty!

I found the batteries to be long-lasting and quick to recharge, which keeps my projects moving without interruption. The kit's build quality is top-notch—durable and comfortable to use. Overall, this Milwaukee combo kit is a fantastic addition to my toolbox, and I'd highly recommend it for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike.

Drains battery pretty fast, but gets the job done.

Surely this isn't the fuel option but it still seems a little loud at higher speeds. Also wish it had a tool-less chuck but that's not the end of the world; I don't change attachments super often. Performance wise it works as it should and I really like it, I probably should habe just gotten the Fuel model.

This ratchet is a real time saver. You can get it into pretty tight spaces as well. Perfect for automotive work.

Broke after only 4 bolts, 1st time using will no longer ratchet in either direction!!!

Good power ratchet for speeding things up and for the price it’s worth it

Worked great had more power then I thought it would.

It works. Kind of. The tool is not very powerful and has a hard time clearing its own dust from a cut. Cuts slowly. Its light, so you won’t get tired waiting for this thing to cut. Don’t buy this version. The tool needs a hex wrench to change the blade. That and the adapter killed it for me. Needs an adapter for most blades, which my helper quickly lost. I also own one from Ryobi. It works way better and doesn’t have fiddley bits that get lost. Even the HFT version spanks this thing.

Exceeds expectation!

Good amount of power in a small package. Installed 4 Sammies, and assembled sheet metal on same battery.
