Finally a wet/dry that will get used
Why would I want a second wet-dry vac in my house? Because we don’t use the first one. You see the first must be plugged in, it is bulky, doesn’t roll very well, is just a pain to use. The new Milwaukee 9 gallon dual-battery wet/dry solves all these issues. This kit includes brushless motor, 9-gallon tank with drain plug, 4-wheel cart with individual brakes, wet/dry filter, 9 ft of hose, crevice tool, utility nozzle, two extension wands, 2-8Ah batteries and battery charger. Did I mention the charger can rapid charge two batteries simultaneously taking about 85 minutes to full charge? No assembly is needed. This machine needs 36 volts to run, and Milwaukee cleverly accomplished that by using M18 batteries. While 8Ah will give you the longest run time, any pair of M18 will run this vac. This also means the included batteries can be use on any M18 compatible tool. In use the tank can quickly be attached or detached from the tray for greater mobility. The hose connects with a twist to lock insuring it will not disconnect during use. The two-speed power switch allows for extended run-time or greater suction as needed. The hose can be connected to the exhaust to use as a blower. The accessory tools have O-rings to prevent leaks when wet vacuuming. I found the suction to be more than adequate on the ECO setting. When done working, a simple pull of the side handles separates the motorhead from the tank for easy clean out. While dragging the vacuum around it had no problems rolling onto rugs and mats due to its large and textured wheels. The accessory tools are storage on the cart, while the hose wraps around the motorhead. Fold down top handle makes it easy to pick up unit or guide it around. Downside to this system, it needs both batteries to run, a wet debris filter is not included, and neither is vacuum bag. Two sections of hose are needed for the tie down to stay in place. The charger shows a steady red lamp to indicate charging instead of a flashing green. The ability to drag and use this unit at any time without the need for power cord, means we’ll be using this unit all the time and not hiding it. While I have mentioned a few cons, Milwaukee has done a great job with the design, and build of this useful product.

    Cordless functionality
I simply love this vacuum but it has shortcomings. My review of te Milwaukee M18 FUEL 9 Gal. Cordless DUAL-BATTERY Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum Kit with (2) 8.0 ah Batteries, Filter, Hose, and Accessories. First I love the ease of use. The cord doesn't get in the way because there is not one. So for cleaning my basement ease of use is as good as it gets. It has great suction power and high and low settings. The hose inserts and twists to positively lock. The vacuum comes with a 2 tools , two 8.0 batteries and a rapid charger. So the issues I see are two freshly charged batteries lasted 30 minutes on high. So you better have alot of batteries. The rapid charger cannot recharger batteries fast enough. Takes approximately 1 hr to recharge 8.0 batteries. The other negative I see is you probably are going to have to by the Milwaukee accessories to fit these hoses. My other vac accessories were too large or to small. So my verdict.... Great vacuum if and only if you have the batteries to support it. The vacuum is pricey but very versatile. If you don't have access to 120 volt power this is a heaven sent.

    Meh. Sucks good
This is a nice little vacuum - it has a ton of suction, WAY more than my old yellow 18v vacuums, even on 110v... very compact, easy to use. I am giving it three stars because the lid is flimsy. It actually arrived broken... even a little pressure from something on top of it distorts the plastic and pushes it down and out. The other side is showing signs of fatigue as well. Secondly, the lid latches are incredibly fragile. I am almost afraid to latch/unlatch them.... they just feel cheap. The latches on the bottom container are almost as bad and I fully expect that they will not last long. Just thin, cheap plastic. Lastly... why would you NOT mold Packout feet onto the bottom? Total swing and a miss here that would cost you nothing and make the tool way more functional.

      Outstanding
12 Aug 2022 Having a portable vac to do light duty clean up during a project is great and this sweeper does the job. And I was able to adapt the Model #: 49-90-2016 bags to work with this sweeper! Cut a piece of 1" PVC conduit, or any PVC pipe with a 1.315" OD, 2-1/4" long with a 45 deg cut on one end. Push the straight cut end into the inlet hole. A friction fit is all that is needed, no glue. Push the bag opening onto the PVC stub and secure the bag with an electrical zip tie.

        Nice feature!!
This vacuum accessory by Milwaukee has a nice feature with the brushes, because they form a cross pattern it doesn’t push debris around as you are cleaning but it better helps to feed debris to the vacuum. Also the bristles will not scratch sensitive surfaces. Great for small clean up jobs. The air tip fits directly onto my Packout vacuum and a great addition to my job site clean up tools!!

Convenient but a heavy battery user
The advantage of this shop vacuum is that it’s cordless. That’s awesome not to have to be tethered to a cord and be able to move around freely. I would say its suction power is comparable to the intro/small versions of corded shop vacuums. Unfortunately it devours batteries quickly so you either need some high capacity batteries or backups on the charger ready to go if you want to use this for heavy cleanup. I was using 3ah batteries and they didn’t last long. Maybe 20 minutes of run time. 6 and 8ah batteries would definitely work better but they will add to the cost significantly and I don’t use those sizes for my other Milwaukee tools. Otherwise note, it's a pretty good vacuum. The 6 gallon capacity is excellent and it has a nice long hose and several tools that attach right to the vacuum itself. I used it to clean up drywall dust and the filter caught all of the particles.

        fantastic
I just recently got this shop vacuum and I think it is great. The wheels on it are incredible. It rolls so smoothly across the floor. I can lock the wheels if I need to also. It has two power settings low and high. Low doesn't eat up the battery as fast and still picks up fine. The hose it comes with is nine feet long of a nice soft material not like the other vac hoses of hard plastic, so it is very flexible and doesn't crush when you step on it like they show in the video. I know I did it and it was great. The only draw back is it being cordless is that it eats up batteries very quickly. I don't use it for very long periods of time. I happen to have about 5 or 6 batteries so I just bring them all with me and a couple of chargers and I don't have a problem. The base with the wheels on it make the whole thing pretty heavy but I deal with it.

        Awesome!!!
Very happy with this little vac. Perfect for what I need it for. Small clean up jobs wet and dry. Use a 4amp battery and it will last around 12 minutes for dry and 9 minutes for wet switching between high and low.

        Best Made, Most Options
No doubt the best made shop vac I've ever seen. It's heavier, but you can appreciate that when you see and feel the quality that is built into it. It has the best wheels and casters that are built to last. Each on is lockable to keep the vac in place. The cart is built with the same quality. The cart will accept different size tanks. The tanks can be switched out to different sizes using the cart and motor head. The crevice and utility nozzles are neatly, conveniently and securely stored on top of the motor head. A bag is available to store additional tools on the unit. The hose is the best I've used. It's not some flimsy hose that will easily crack, break or crush. There are three different filter options for this unit, plus a fleece bag option the keeps your machine and filter cleaner, while making clean-up easier. There are two power settings and using the 12ah battery will give you about 31 minutes or 47 minutes. Its power will surprise you because it's so quite. It uses a 1-7/8" hose and extensions. It is perfect for sawdust, dust, drywall dust, metal shavings, broken glass, etc. and water. If you're cleaning up fine dust, use the fleece bags to better protect the filter and unit. It makes everything better for that fine dust. It's very well-made, powerful and you don't need a cord. This is one of the best things Milwaukee has made. Check out all the attachment options available for this unit. Very impressive machine.

Great features but with some flaws
This wet/dry vacuum has so many great well thought out features that I can not mention them all but will highlight a few. I like the way the vacuum is removeable from the caddy. The caddy is heavy duty with locking wheels. The vacuum is a vacuum and a blower. I really like the twist and lock hose connections. It has a two speed on/off switch and comes with a dust filter. All the accessories are heavy duty. The vacuum will run on my 3A batteries but I really wish a 12 A could be included with the set. The advertisement mentions the run time with a 12A so I do not know how long it will run on just a 3A. The owner's manual mentions using a foam filter when vacuuming up liquids but one was not included. I could not get the hose storage strap to latch. There is nothing for the latch to connect to. I actually broke the latch trying to get it to stay connected - see pictures.

        Cordless convenience
Great features, great suction, only minor issues. Milwaukee's M18 vacuum (Model # 0910-20, Made in USA from Global Materials) is large and heavy for a 6-gal tank but it offers cord-free convenience and legendary quality, with a host of available accessories. One great feature: the wheeled base, which also stores some accessories, is easily removed with a foot latch. That's convenient because it's awkward to carry the assembled unit through doors and narrow hallways. Another surprisingly useful feature is the two-speed motor. Not only does it extend battery life and reduce noise, it also means the unit won't careen toward you if the opening gets blocked, as often happens when I vacuum my rubber anti-fatigue mats. Suction on the low setting is still surprisingly powerful. The unit is fairly quiet, but it does have a higher pitched whine than my other shop vacuums. A small crevice tool and utility nozzle are stored in the motor head, but because of the tight space they must be removed or stored in order – you can't access the nozzle without first removing the crevice tool. Those and other accessories can be stored on the wheeled base if desired. One potential issue is the 1-3/4” outer diameter of the hose's accessory end: it is designed for Milwaukee's 1-7/8” accessories and cannot be used with larger 2-1/2” accessories standard on my other shop-vac or the dust collection ports/adaptors on my power tools. Filter removal/replacement is a breeze. There are no wingnuts/caps to unscrew and lose; just a small turn of the filter locks/unlocks it. Onboard hose storage seemed perfect at first, but I found the elastic cord holding the hose on its “shelf” wouldn't stay attached (see photo). Fortunately, the hose storage “clip” on the side secures the corrugated hose itself, so the hose can be stored with only the hose end flopping. The top of the motor head also has 4 storage tie-down clips, designed specifically for the Milwaukee accessory kit, but which could be used with small bungee cords; however anything covering the motor head interferes with the carrying handle. The kit comes with a high quality pleated dust filter, but not the foam filter needed for wet operation. The motor head can easily be used as a blower by switching ports for the hose, but it's not nearly as convenient or efficient as using a specifically engineered Milwaukee M18 blower. The price is high, but you get cordless convenience with stellar performance and quality that exceeds most corded units.

Perfect addition to the new Milwaukee cordless shop vac
So I just purchased the new Milwaukee m18 single battery shop vac. There is a ton of attachments that Milwaukee just came out with and saw the crevasse tool with built in brushes and was sold. It really works great and stays on the hose well without coming off. The brush is two sided one side soft and the other firmer for more imbedded dirt. It's super easy to switch as there is two buttons to press and just slide it off flip it around or take it off it needed. The length was perfect to get into those hard to reach locations next to the seat or in other hard to reach locations. Super happy with the quality and as with all Milwaukee tools they are too notch.

        Great Shop Vacuum
Milwaukee has another awesome product. I’ve always used wet/dry vacuums for outdoor cleaning, vehicle cleaning, outdoor rugs and miscellaneous projects inside and outdoor. My number one complaint has always been the extension cord that I always needed to attach because the cord on the vacuums are so short. Milwaukee has solved this with the cordless wet/dry vacuum. It sits on a removable rolling tray with reinforced casters that are lockable so no more rolling vacuum when I’m using it. It can roll over cords and has a handle for easy navigation. The release pedal removes the vacuum from the rolling tray easily. It is built with a Powerstate brushless motor is a bonus and has more power than a corded vacuum. Milwaukee added the flexible non-crushable hose with the standard accessories (crevice tool, extension wand, filter, hose, nozzle) and more available if you need it for a specific job. I’m very pleased with the 9’ hose that comes with it, but I do wish it had the brush accessory as I use that often when I clean my vehicle. It has a cleanable/reusable high efficient filter that exchanges with a quarter turn. Other types of filters are available which is great to know if needed. This is a 6 gallon which is perfect for my needs, but two larger sizes are available. I found it to be more powerful than my old corded shop vacuum and cleaned up debris very well. However, the M18 battery and charger is sold separately which is an investment but can be used on many of the brand’s items. The lasts long enough to get your job done and charges fairly fast. 3-Year Tool Warranty. Made in USA

        A Powerful Shop Vacuum!
This shop vacuum is as powerful as my corded shop vacuum. It provides me the ability to easily vacuum up dirt and debris when there is no AC available. It also effectively vacuumed up water from my basement floor when it flooded. The vacuum is made from rugged plastic. The hose, while flexible, resists kinking and crushing. I used an M18 9.0 battery to power the vacuum. I only got 24 minutes of runtime on the high power setting before the battery ran down.

        Easy to use
The Milwaukee Cordless Vacuum is a lot more different than usual shop vacuums that I have used in the past. The Milwaukee can be taken off the wheels , but the wheel base bakes it easy to roll the vacuum around. The wheels also can be locked if you don't wont it to move. The hose is heavy duty and is long to reach longer areas. It comes with two accessories to vacuum in tight places. It is easy to open the lid and empty the contents of the holed area.

        Great Suction and Design Features
The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 6 Gal. Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum with Filter, Hose, and Accessories is a wonderful addition to my workshop dust management system! It runs quietly and provides plenty of suction power to my woodworking power tools that generate a lot of sawdust. It is very solidly built and has well thought out features and accessories. I also have the Milwaukee tool attachment storage bag (straps to the top of the wet/dry vac) that will hold all of the many additional accessories that are available for this unit! Rolls easily, runs quiet and due to no cord, is very portable by detaching the base so the unit can be easily carried to wherever it is needed!!

This vacuum, not compatible with all M18.
I was looking forward to using this vacuum for the first time. I have some bad news. The M18 RedLithium HighOutput CP3.0 batteries that I have, that fit my M18 2860-20 impact wrench, will not fit in the battery compartment of this 6 gal vacuum. It appears that the battery itself is too tall to fit in the battery compartment. I included some photos with my review to help illustrate this point. I am sorry Milwaukee, I was not expecting to have this problem.

          Professional heavy duty system
This product is part of a whole vacuum system that lets you expand and extend as you need to. Add an M18 battery and you have a fully functional, large capacity shop vac. So what do we get? This kit provides a power head (that takes a single M18 battery), with the motor and filter holder, a 6 gallon tank and a wheeled base. In addition you also get a decent length flexible hose (9’) with a 1-⅞” diameter, two 2’ rigid tubes, and two attachments, a crevice tool and a small floor head (without brush). At the rear of the wheeled base are 4 places into which vacuum hose attachments can be inserted. The holders have been designed to take a variety of hose sizes. The two supplied attachments fit into a hole on the top of the power head. A small clip to hold the hose in place could have had a better design, it only seems to stay clipped on if it goes over two hoses. The machine is pleasantly quiet. It does its job well, pulling up dirt very well. The regular floor head will lift carpets up! I found that most of the dirt sucked up (a lot of car hair) was sticking to the filter, bigger pieces of course sit in the tank. There is a holder in the tank to hold a fleece vacuum bag and this may be a good approach when cleaning up pet hairs. The vacuum has two modes, essentially power I or II, the first mode will give you more run time on your battery charge, the second provides more power. The wheels allow it to roll very smoothly over both carpet and hard floors, and pulling it about without having to worry about a power cable is really great and allows quick work. The end of the hose allows full 360° rotation of the nozzle that goes into the rigid tubes/attachment so there is no problem building up twist in the hose. The hose can also be connected to the air outlet if you need to use it as a blower. Additional accessories available: As I say this is a whole system, there are larger capacity tanks available, filter bags, and a foam filter for wet pickup as well as three types of air filter. Additional power heads that take two M18 batteries and also an AC powered head are also available, plus a large range of specialized attachments, and a more robust cart for the larger tanks. On the top of the power head there are 4 places onto which a separately available vacuum attachment bag can be clipped. (Though when in place it does somewhat obscure the on/off switch.) Filter made in Cambodia, Extension wand made in China, everything else made in the USA Three year warranty.

Nice tool to reach tight spaces
This tool is very nice. It fits both common sizes of vacuum hoses, both for shop vacuums and for house vacuums. The brushes lock into place on the tool, and slide easily into place when you want to use them. Just press the buttons on both sides of the tool to unlock it and slide it down, where it locks in place at the tip. This tool will be very helpful to get into tight spaces, especially when vacuuming my cars.

Replacing Three Corded Shop Vacs with this Single Cordless Model
I'm replacing three 3.5 HP (peak) corded shop vacs that I've had for years with this single Milwaukee M18 FUEL Cordless, Brushless, 6 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac. I have a large 4" hose stand-alone dust extractor that pops the breaker if I turn it on while using the shop air conditioner and a large tool (table saw, planer or miter saw) at the same time. This cordless 3.5 HP (peak) will enable me to run my various sanders, jointers, band saw and biscuit cutter without having to turn off the AC. That is no small thing here in Florida. I've ordered the adaptor kit to hook up this 1 7/8" to my various smaller machine tools. This is a cool tool. Everything is pleasingly over-designed and over-engineered for everyday heavy use. The hose and various extensions/nozzles that come in the kit all have clever designed-in places to store securely and conveniently on board. This is a TOOL ONLY kit. You'll have to purchase a battery and charger separately. Cordless Shop Vacs have a reputation for going through batteries, but are incredibly convenient. I've got a 8 Ah M18 Li-ion Battery and I just ordered two more 6 Ah Batteries both as back up for this and my other M18 tools. This is an order of magnitude quieter than my old corded shop vacs. I love the well designed cart with the foot pedal release and the nice, decent casters with brakes. Everything about this Milwaukee M18 FUEL Shop Vac System is top quality. I love it! 5 Stars.

          Great vacuum cleaner attachment
This vacuum cleaner attachment tool fits my upright bagless vacuum cleaner with an extension tube and my larger diameter shop vacuum cleaner hose. I found that the stiffer bristles on the one end worked well for cleaning the carpet in my car. I had to take off the black brush head so that I could reach in far enough between the seat and the carpet in some areas. I weighed the tool on my scale and it weighed in at 6.8 ounces. Overall this is a nice vacuum cleaner attachment tool.

Super useful and works with any brand
I have a couple brands of shop vacuums that I use around the house. The brand I use detailing my vehicles came with a very basic vacuum crevice tool. This Milwaukee crevice tool is far and away better quality and design. The removable brush head is reversible with a soft brush on one side and firm brush on the other. It stores easily and securely on the tool or it can be removed completely to get down into tighter areas. The hose adapter fits multiple sizes of hoses so it can be easily used with most major brands of shop vacuums.

            My Car Loves It
I've been using the Airtip Crevice Brush with my Rigid Vac and Car Cleaning Kit (orange hose, Home Depot 100638355). Sure enough, it's size-compatible and works great with the 1 1/4" nozzle. I like that I can reach into crevices on my dashboard, vents and other tight spots when cleaning my car with the bristled head and into snug spots around my garage. The head can be switched between shorter, coarser bristles or longer finer ones.

            Great Accessory
This Crevice tool is a great all around accessory for your vacuum system. It fits 1/1/4, 1 7/8 and 2 1/4 hoses with out adapter being needed. I especially like the crevice tool as it fits into my planer to clear out the shavings from the sides. The end brush can easily be removed by just pushing two buttons and reversed for soft bristles or hard bristles.

            Super handy for lazy people
Having three tools built into one is great so I don't have to run back to the shop or house to grab whatever I forgot. The brush slides easily into or out of position, but stays put where you need it. One brush is a bit softer (good for getting into narrow areas for dusting) and the other's a bit stiff (good for getting stuff out of carpet or upholstery). The crevice tool itself is very sturdy and looks like it will outlast me. I was in a tight area and didn't want to drag in my 16 gallon shop vacuum so I used a regular household canister vac which worked well with this tool.
