Great batteries with an even better charger. It has m12 and m18 charging capabilities.

Best batteries for impact. Don’t matter if it screwing roofs, Decks or tightening bolts. Milwaukee is the best.

I’ve been using this useful M18 LED lamp for a bit. There are 2 brightness settings, up to 1,500 lumens. It has a hexagonal shape so you can angle it up or down. There’s a hole going through it so you can put it on top of a 3/4” dowel and rig a stand. The carry handle is comfy. I’ve put a 5Ah and 8Ah in it. I suppose it could use magnets and a rafter hook to have additional mounting points, but for most uses its perfectly adequate.

I have been using these a while and these 5.0 batteries will get a lot of work done on a charge. I use them in a variety of tools from drills to saws to leaf blower to weed eater etc and they are work horses. I love that every one has a charge indicator - not just the higher AH batteries like some vendors. I hav e several chargers on a charging station and a variety of batteries on tap so even if I'm working the whole long day with them I'm never at a loss for power. These 5.0's are a good size for a drill or impact driver although sometimes I like the smaller ones for light jobs. But where I'm going to be doing more these is the ones I reach for. My drill is probably the most heavily used of all my milwaukee tools so I use this size battery a lot.

An excellent addition to my cordless tool bag.

We have been abusing these M18 5.0 batteries for years. They can handle extreme hot and cold weather. They don’t flinch when dropped. Of course you need 9.0 or 12.0Ah when running their new table saw. And you want a 2.0 for your 1/4 impact drivers. But these 5.0 batteries see the most use. Powerful enough for sawzalls and drilling thick steel, but still compact enough to avoid fatigue. We’ve never had one fail. And you’d think we’re trying to break them the way we abuse them.

Great battery and charger. The Milwaukee M18 5.0 battery lasts a long time between charges and charger also charges very quickly. This charger can also charge the M12 battery.

I purchased a combo set for Milwaukee and this was included. The Milwaukee 90-degree impact set is phenomenal and I use it every day at work and at home. The battery and charger are excellent only drawback is the humming noise the charger makes. I would recommend this to anyone!

Saw was light weight and easy to use. I would recommend having a second battery for backup if planning on using for more than an hour at a time.

I was hesitant to buy this because of the bad reviews about the battery, but I have had no problem with the battery or the impact so far. I am an auto mechanic and in my opinion for a 3/8 it has a lot of torque. Would strongly recommend.

I have been using Milwaukee Tools personally for over 30 years. in the last 2 years I bought quite a few of the 18 volt and 12 volt tools the power and the longevity of the batteries surpasses any other battery operated tool sets I've ever used along with the vast selection of light duty to Industrial Construction it was a no-brainer to stick with Milwaukee when it was time to go cordless looking forward to my next purchase thank you for your innovations in the cordless tool department. Having just received one of the newest Milwaukee Searchlights which came as a "tool only" item I was in need of both a M18 Battery and appropriate Milwaukee M18 lithium-Ion charging station. Got this Milwaukee Starter kit which addressed both my shortfalls. Battery is a 5.0Amp variety which is more than sufficient for my new searchlight. The charging station not only recharges M18 batteries but also the M12 battery series of Milwaukee tools. Could not be any happier especially knowing this is a fresh battery and not some earlier battery hanging on the shelf for a year or more. Its been quite some time since I've acquired rechargeable tools and I've had all the various brands and technologies varying from the earliest Ni-Cad batteries to Nickel Metal Hydride. Lithium-Ion is the current technology and impressive. Heavier in weight per battery pack however run times are a minimum 5 times longer (probably more). If you are in the market for a replacement rechargeable tool you should seriously consider Milwaukee....solidly made, decent warranty, and really nice to own and use.

Milwaukee builds some well made tools from what I've seen lately in my purchases and this kit is no exception. Seems like a lot for a charger and one battery but the battery charges fast and the tools are very well built. I got this to pair with the 1/2" impact wrench. The batteries are noticeably more compact than my older 18V set (which is porter cable)(see picture for comparison of sizes). This would be good if you were lugging it around all day on the job, One thing I like about the batteries is the gauge built into the battery so you can do a quick check on the charge without having to put it on the charger (which is the only way to check the charge on my older 18V tools) It's nice that these are made so that they will mount on the side of a Milwaukee toolbox although I was not able to use that because my toolbox has stuff too close to both sides. But it fits nicely in the top compartment along with my other charger and batteries. I'll probably pick up one of the high demand batteries later but this one will do me for a starter.

I had already used this light at work. My employer has bought several styles of high end brand lights and this is the best FLOOD light. So, it was a no brainer to buy one for my personal use.

The extended capacity battery pack has all kinds of numbers associated with it to show that it runs longer and better in extreme conditions. What I care about is that after a few days of letting the battery sit on my Milwaukee tool, I can use it for another job. To find out I ran a test with the Milwaukee 18v brushless impact driver. I didn't do extensive testing. A few days after using it to remove screws on the patio, I used it to drive a screw into a piece of plywood. It appears to be working fine. On the battery charger 2 lights were red. Number one reason I don't like tools with Batteries is tool companies upgrade the voltage and outdate the lower voltage tools, i hear that from other tool people as well. This charger accommodates both 12v and 18v volt Batteries. If you build tools around those batteries you can use one charger station. I hope when I need my battery in extreme conditions it tests good, but right now it is dry and sunny in Florida. The regular 18v battery is pictured next to the extended capacity battery. The XC is thicker and heavier, for light jobs you might want to use the regular 18v. The XC 5.0 adds weight to your tool.

I consider myself a do-it-yourself, weekend warrior when it comes to renovations and woodworking projects. I have purchased many lights throughout the years, most of which fit into the following categories: 1) not bright enough, 2) a pain for dragging extensions cords around, 3) burning my arm each time I accidentally touched the light housing, or 4) replacing broken bulbs due to dropping the light. The Milwaukee M18 flood light definitely leads the pack in portability, usefulness and durability. I take it into my attic, out into the backyard at night, and most of all use it on my household projects. The hexagon design allows it to sit on the floor in various positions, and I especially like the 1/2" hole in the side of the light which allows the light to be mounted on a vertical 1/2" conduit pipe for which I have created a simple concrete stand (see pics). This keeps the light from getting lost in my piles of debris and tools while I am working. If you are wondering how bright it really is, one of the local woodworking stores has a warning sign on the display stand stating, "Do not look directly into this light when turning it on!!!". The other pic I have attached is of the light projecting from my back patio door at night on the highest setting (there is a slightly dimmer setting as well). Imagine what it would do to a dark room in the house! Well done, Milwaukee. Again you've proven yourselves to be leaders and innovators.

This battery last quite awhile on a full charge and the charger recharges the battery quickly! Very happy with this battery/charger combo!
