That was expecting the LED light to be bright white it is a little yellow and the power cord that goes to the LED head is stripped and peeling apart

Great puzzle lights! Bought them for construction and my girlfriend enjoys them just as much as I do lol. Great product.

      Let there be light!
I finally got to try out the light and it saved me a trip back to a customers house as it got dark on me! Was way brighter than I expected but it has different setting and the least brightest was enough for me to work with. Will definitely keep using this as I work nights daily and hopefully it lasts me as long as my other Milwaukee tools!

Great light! Very bright, and can be adjusted for just about any height and angle that you could need. Just pained my whole house with this and it was fantastic. Battery last plenty long with the 3 brightness modes. Only reason for 4 start is that the on/off button must be pressed several times to cycle through modes. Even the cheaper M18 lights have separate on/off and mode buttons. I like to be able to turn the light on and off without cycling through each mode every time. Otherwise, it’s a perfect light for most jobs.

        Used twice, then plug broke
Was excited to get this light. Used it twice, then prongs where device is plugged into extension cord broke. Took to Home Depot, charged me $30, sent it to manufacturer who told me couldn't be fixed. Super disappointed in Home Depot and Milwaukee.

These lights are very bright, with multiple power setting when full brightness is not needed, the plug in option is a great option as they will burn through smaller amp hour batteries pretty quick, if you need this to be portable I recommend using 5 amp hour or larger batteries, I have a couple of 9amp hour batteries and they last for hours on high. Great for all situations, floor, wall, full room lighting. Just be careful not to knock over, pretty tough, have knocked over a few times but does get a little top heavy the higher you have it, overall a great light.

Best light milwaukee makes for the price
You cannot go wrong with this light. Ac and DC power, very bright and good run time with batteries. Very well constructed and durable for job sites. The only thing I wish it did was charge batteries but that may be a lot to ask for cuz these lights use a lot of energy, that being said it gets good run time with batteries for what it is.

            Bright and useful light
I’ve been using this useful M18 LED lamp for a bit. There are 2 brightness settings, up to 1,500 lumens. It has a hexagonal shape so you can angle it up or down. There’s a hole going through it so you can put it on top of a 3/4” dowel and rig a stand. The carry handle is comfy. I’ve put a 5Ah and 8Ah in it. I suppose it could use magnets and a rafter hook to have additional mounting points, but for most uses its perfectly adequate.

First of all I would have given this 5 stars. I would have given 4.8 actually. ;-) The Rocket light is just ridiculous how good it is. Granted it is not made of all steal, a lot of heavy duty ABS type plastic so it can take a beating. I don't do hardcore contracting but know many that use the Rocket and they swear by it. I love the telescoping function and the multiple positions you can move the head lights. Having the hybrid battery/corded function is sweat as well. I know if I had bought this light and it did not have that corded capability I would be wanting it and not happy that it did not come with the capability. I bought these two items together as it was a great price. Normally the rocket light is $199 tool only and the Flood light is normally $89. This kit together was $179. So yeah. If this is still available, you people should jump on the deal. I noticed one issue with the flood light. When I use my 9.0 or 12.0 batteries, the light does work on two positions. One of which is the most important position. The two batteries I mentioned are too long and thick to allow the light to sit flat on a surface. There is a work around to just flip it to the complete opposite site but there are still 2 out of the 3 positions you cannot use due to the larger battery. I found out that there is a fix if you send it to Milwaukee. Called Milwaukee and said, do I really need to send it in or can you send me the parts to fix myself. They sent me the parts. Two little plugs. Turns out they are plugs that will just replace the two plugs in my device. Called them to ask what the heck? That is when it was discovered Milwaukee has two versions of this light. They say I have the "B" version. So there is no fix for the issue with the larger battery. I do have to say that, even though no fix to allow all 8 sides to sit properly with larger batteries, the most import one is fixed by simply turning the light a different direction. The older version is not being sold in stores unless they have left over stock. Any new versions of this light will support the larger batteries with an issue sitting it in certain positions. I will also mention the older light has a red bar that sits right above where the battery would be. It is used to hang the light on a nail or screw. That red bar is what blocks the use of larger batteries. You can contact Milwaukee for the replacement part. If you have that older version and use that hang bar a lot, I would not recommend changing as the fix is to just remove the hang bar entirely.

Wanted a rocket light to supplement my Milwaukee rover light for night work. Was very impressed on how easy it was to set up an it’s brightness. On high with a 5.0 in 20 degree weather saw about 3.5 hours till it started flashing.

Milwaukee bins hang on top ledge after light is extended, great benefit that I bet Milwaukee didn't even realize. Also can and tape measures and some drills on the top edge of the stand too. Light output is very clean and even like a true flood light and not a spot light with lots of rings like standard flashlights. Price is a bit high in my opinion but I got mine on sale with free 6.0 battery and charger, much better purchase that way. Yes that is a Dewalt tape measure, don't like the clip on the Milwaukee double sided tape, but love the double sided tape when I use it just not when I want to clip it to something.

With a solid tripod folding base and telescoping mount, combined with the capability of using two different power sources, makes this one versatile product. The light operates at three output settings. This is important if running on battery power for an extended period of time as a lower setting will extend the battery life. The carry handle is a nice feature as well. This replaced a similar tripod mounted work light that used a halogen bulb. The older light was so hot it could not be used during the summer.

The Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Rocket Dual Power Tower Light brought a lot of expectations from me...it didn't disappoint...in fact, it really became a pleasant surprise! Here we go again, a very well thought out and engineered work tool from Milwaukee! The set-up and take down just couldn't be much easier, faster or more efficient then this Rocket tri-pod dual-powered brilliant 2500 Lumen flood light. From the carry and set-up handles, to the rock-solid stability of the wide-set tripod legs, to the quick adjustable pole height extensions and lock down clamps, to the positive clickable high-mid-low selector switch and to the articulating head that ranges about 120 degrees downward from left or right of vertical, this platform can do it all. My dark work areas becomes as daylight, with enough illumination spread in my shop, attic, carport or patio areas to minimize shadows and maintain a natural filling light!! I've already discovered and use the excellent life and dependable Milwaukee M18 RedLithium 18V XC 5.0Ah and the 18V HD 9.0Ah batteries in my cordless power tools, so I'll have many hours of workable and portable time with the Rocket! However if needed, love the fact I can plug an A\C source directly in for unlimited illuminated work, fun or play! The more I use the Rocket light source, the more I realize the value of having this tool for all of our home improvement, DIY projects around the house or any "after dark" outside family activities. As a light source on any construction projects, this would certainly be included in all of the tools I'd take to the jobsite!!

Great product. Excellent source of lighting. This is an upgrade to the original Tower Light, the 2130. This is a hybrid light like the 2135-20 light but unlike that light , this one does not charge the light while it is plugged in. This light is brighter than the original , and that was one was very bright. This light worked well, well working in the basement of a new house that I was helping out with. There was power in the house but there were no lights in the basement instead of setting up the string lights overhead like usual, we set this up and that was all we needed. This is not meant to be their flagship light, so keeping that in mind I was able to accept it for what it is. With the 12.0 ah battery, I got a runtime of about 9hrs and 48 minutes on high. The first warning sign that the battery is just about dead, came with 25 minutes left of usage. This light blinked 3x, every minute for 25minutes, after the 25th minute it shut off. Even though I had this running the whole time, the head was a little warm, but not scorching hot. I was able to touch it without burning my hand feeling extreme heat which was good. This is great for outdoor events when the sun goes down Compared to the original 2130-20, the head has more translucent plate in the top, the words Rocket Light appear on one of the extension poles, this light is brighter, and this one is compatible with a 12ah battery whereas the other one is not. Milwaukee does offer a free(or least I believe it is, I am completing my service request next week) where they will retrofit some products that will not fit the 12.0ah battery Improvements I would like to see, if they were to upgrade it. The ability to charge while in use would be good, but I would also like an onboard indicator letting you know if it is on low, med, or high. As well as a battery gauge so you do not have to bend down to check on the battery. Also since Milwaukee has the one key, I would like to have a dedicated spot to hide the tick. Also one key functionality, for some products one key is not that effective for me , but for the lights that program truly shines. I have another light that has it and being able to turn on a light with your phone is truly hopeful. All in all this is a great product, that proves to be useful during the day and nght.

This Milwaukee portable tower work light can run on two sources of power (battery or house voltage), so it is great for work both inside or out, work in an area that does not yet have power, such as a building under construction, or just for times when you don’t want to drag out any extension cords. The LED lights are very bright (see picture) and you can choose between two levels of lighting, depending up whether you really need the high level of light versus using the lower level of light which would use less battery power and extend your battery run time. It folds up very easily and has a large carrying handle (see picture) that would even fit a hand with a work glove. The height is adjustable from 4 to 7 feet, and the light head can be tilted easily to direct the light (see picture). What was really impressive was the very wide tripod that supports the light. Each arm of the tripod is about 3.5” in width, so this is a very solid base. Combine that with the fact that the battery pack slides into place at the lowest point of the light, this light has a very low center of gravity and that will prevent tipping. It even has a low battery light, giving you time to insert a backup battery or to switch to house power. Well thought-out design! This is a super sturdy work light, and I highly recommend it!

                  Best light for my money
I had already used this light at work. My employer has bought several styles of high end brand lights and this is the best FLOOD light. So, it was a no brainer to buy one for my personal use.

                  Excellent addition to M18 line-up
I consider myself a do-it-yourself, weekend warrior when it comes to renovations and woodworking projects. I have purchased many lights throughout the years, most of which fit into the following categories: 1) not bright enough, 2) a pain for dragging extensions cords around, 3) burning my arm each time I accidentally touched the light housing, or 4) replacing broken bulbs due to dropping the light. The Milwaukee M18 flood light definitely leads the pack in portability, usefulness and durability. I take it into my attic, out into the backyard at night, and most of all use it on my household projects. The hexagon design allows it to sit on the floor in various positions, and I especially like the 1/2" hole in the side of the light which allows the light to be mounted on a vertical 1/2" conduit pipe for which I have created a simple concrete stand (see pics). This keeps the light from getting lost in my piles of debris and tools while I am working. If you are wondering how bright it really is, one of the local woodworking stores has a warning sign on the display stand stating, "Do not look directly into this light when turning it on!!!". The other pic I have attached is of the light projecting from my back patio door at night on the highest setting (there is a slightly dimmer setting as well). Imagine what it would do to a dark room in the house! Well done, Milwaukee. Again you've proven yourselves to be leaders and innovators.

Legs need a lock to keep them in closed position when not being used. The legs come down on their own when being stored vertically.
