Just got this saw and noticed there is excess clearance between the blade depth pivot pin and the cast saw body. Even with all the tilt and depth knobs tight, the shoe moves relative to the body with a light handle force and causes the blade to not be perpendicular to the shoe, see photo of shoe clamped to bench and 3mm difference in motor height off work surface. I am going to go back to HD and see if other samples in stock do this.

I will say this is the first actual big name brand purchase on power tools I have ever made. That being said I have worked jobs and done personal projects in fields such as electric, auto repair, general construction, and then some simple basic DIY home improvements. I got to borrow and use some Dewalt tools mainly their 20V Atomic Max series drill and impact driver and I was impressed with how they performed. Then one day I got to use Milwaukee the same M18 brushless products i eventually ended up buying for my self. This Milwaukee M18 combo feels nicer in my hands, definitely more power, and seems to just be the better choice in my opinion

Very satisfied with this combo kit. Both the impact and drill feel very quality and I can already tell this set is going to last me a long time. I definitely recommend this set if you are looking for some high quality cordless tools.

I had to returned my brand new Dewalt with a power-stack batteries to go back to my original tools I was going to buy for work. I only need the 1/4in impact but this kit deal and the free battery makes it even better. My Dewalt was just not as great of a tool and once I got my Milwaukee, projects got done even faster. The impact was light enough to hold the tool over head for a long period of time. Great deal and great tools.

Used the drill and impact to hang new ceiling joists and drywall did a great job. Bits that come with the kit are trash

I never knew how much I would use this Oscillating saw before I purchased it. Now I wonder how I ever survived without it.

It's just a great song when you'll have power and you need a battery operates so it cuts a lot it really stand up to it's name

Right out of the box I had no immediate issues with the tools, but once I started using them I could tell I made a mistake purchasing them. The impact feels weak and is laggy and slow. The drill is even worse as the head makes a terribly loud clacking sound every time you release the trigger. The carrying bag the set comes with is a much poorer quality than I expected. I took it to two jobsites and the bag tore exposing a sharp metal wire. I've gotten much better quality from other brands at a better price. This is the second time I am leaving this review in hopes of saving someone else the hassle, as the first time my review "didn't meet guidelines." All in all I'm very disappointed and I expected much better from Milwaukee.

I bought and returned this product multiple times due to the batteries not taking a charge. The light would flash green and red which according to the instructions means the battery is faulty. I talked to the milwakee rep at the store as well as the hardware folks and no one was able to help or give advice other than you can exchange it for another. I decided to pass 4/4 batteries were fault brand new out of the box I wasn't about to try again. They were also unwilling to let me open a box and the store and try it to show them the issue.

Honestly its my first oscalating tool ive ever really used because i barley recently started the m18 tool line and im just slowly building up my tools and this is just another to my tool line and ihave no complains , it does wat i need it to do wen i do use it. and its cordless i love it.

I attempted to use the impact to remove the lug nuts on my vehicle. When i put the impact to the lug nuts, it removed the first, however when i went for the second something broke. Not sure what it is but now whatever attachment i insert wont lock into place. I can pull it out with no problem.

While I love Milwaukee tols and will give them the highest recommendation, my kit came with 2 x CP1.5 batteries not the CP2.0 batteries this add and packaging claim.

I did a rush purchase with this saw, arrived at my jobsite and opened to find out there was no rip saw !!! I had no time to return it. Very disappointed. Overall, it did its job. Do better milwaukee.

Best tools out

Overall, this is a solid saw. The 6.5" will cut largely anything you need to cut for smaller projects, and allows for a smaller, lighter form factor. 1 minor annoyance is that I found that the screw used to tighten the rip fence guide is poorly designed. While using the rip fence, I hand tightened it to a normal tightness, but when I went to loosen it to remove the fence, the plastic handle began to just spin on the screw. I ultimately needed to pull the plastic handle off, and use pliers to remove it. For a $120 saw, and Milwaukee at that, I would have expected better hardware choices that would last longer.

Works excellent. A big upgrade from box store drills and impacts. More power and longer lasting batteries. Cant ask for more at $199.99

MILWAUKEE man you know your tools are top notch

Battery falls out every time you drill down. Battery comes disconnected every 1-3 minutes. Not only is this incredibly frustrating, but it's down right embarrassing. I feel foolish for purchasing these with my hard earned money.

Yet another great product by Milwaukee. I've used this multitool several times already and it doesn't disappoint.

I have used the M12 version for years. But battery life tended to be a problem. The M18 version solves this problem. I am currently using it to remove 100+ year old fir flooring. The walls are mounted to the flooring, so I have to cut it at the walls to put in the new flooring. I also have to cut the nails holding the flooring down, as I need to reuse some of it to patch other areas. This tool is doing a great job. I have seen in other reviews that some people have a problem with the screw coming lose in use, or having to use tools to get the screw tight. I wonder if they are using the release lever correctly. The lever moves freely until it is about 170 degrees. Then you encounter resistance. But you have to continue until the lever has moved 180 degrees. Doing this, I have not had the screw come loose, and I only tighten it hand tight. No tools needed. I have cut multiple 10 penny nails at a time and never had a problem.

I usually give Milwaukee's new M18/M12/Fuel, etc 5 star ratings because, well, the new products are superb. This however could take a few lessons from the DeWalt. No quick detach, the rotary dial is okay at best, and it comes with an Allen key but nowhere to lock it in the tool. So don't lose it!

I'm a contractor and this pkg is amazing. I've been running my drill all week on the 5.0 battery. Building decks, putting in windows and it hasnt slowed down. Love it. I definitely recommend this setup. Best ever.

I switched from a Craftsman 19.2 V after 8 years and it's been nothing short of amazing. The M18 feels like it has so much more power and torque than my old drill. I was torn between Dewalt and Milwaukee but I'm very pleased I purchased Milwaukee. Heavy duty and the light is something I didn't know I was missing until now.
