This is an excellent saw and sander. It came with a nice blade and triangular sanding pad.

This tool is amazing! Read one review that said it couldn't plunge cut but he clearly didnt experiment much. Typically you think about plunge cutting with a corner of the blade first but this tools oscillations will cause it to impact the surface and jump around. If you keep the blade perpendicular to the surface however, it will plunge cut better than anything else you own! Auto feature cuts out hardwood like butter

TLDR saw is horrible for accuracy but fast cutting.I use an oscillating tool mainly as a precision cutting saw on finish work such as trim molding and cabinet work. This saw is horrible at plunge cutting to a line because of the vibration dampening in the head that allows the head to move a full 3/16" to either side of the line (photo included). I get what Milwaukee was trying to achieve, but they sacrificed the saws accuracy in doing so. Whenever you try to plunge cut the head bounces back and forth completely destroying the face of the board. That being said it cuts faster than any other oscillating saw I've used. It will beat the DeWalt cutting a board with a dull blade and mostly dead battery.If you need a fast saw for rough work, this is for you, of you need an accurate saw for finish work, almost any other saw is a better choice.

I upgraded from the m12 non-fuel to this. You wouldn’t think you could be excited about a multi-tool, but this thing is butter smooth. I was looking at the light bar on it thinking, “when am I going to need light on this?” And literally 5 minutes later I absolutely needed and appreciated having that light. This is a buy-it-for-life multi tool. There won’t be any upgrades from this for a lonnnnng time.

Best multi tool on the market. The auto setting is a game changer for starting cuts, then it speeds up to the speed needed to make the cut.

I used this for sanding a new box project with the Cub Scouts. It was great. I love no coords! Nothing to trip over of get caught in. Battery has long runtime. Great power, just as good or better than the corded version. Can't go wrong with Milwaukee. This tool is truly a Multi-"USE"-Tool and a must have in everyone toolbox. I have been using tools like this for many years and see Milwaukee's as the "Cream of the Crop". It is well balanced and the vibrations are minimal - a welcome change from the old days. With this tool you can do everything from trimming moldings when installing hardwood floors to cutting PVC during a new bathroom vanity install. My son has a sun-porch on the back of his house. The original owner installed moldings against the aluminum siding which left a sloppy, unprofessional gap. Using Milwaukee's Multi-Tool with a metal cutting blade I cut the siding along the old molding which allowed us to slide in new moldings which produced a great finished look (See photo). Easy to use, easy blade change - I can definitely recommend this tool to you.

Milwaukee Tools has another great multi-tool kit. Their M18 Fuel, 18-volt Lithium-ion cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool kit comes with a M18 Multi-tool, a 5.0 Ah battery, charger, sanding pads, one wood cutting blade and Tool Bag. A feature of the Milwaukee multi-tool I really like is the tool free, quick release lever used when changing blades, scrapers or sanding pads. Most other multi-tools require an Allen Wrench to loosen a bolt when changing a blade. Milwaukee has designed a cam over quick release to release pressure on the retaining screw that holds the blade or accessories in place. With the pressure released on the retaining screw, it can be loosened by hand, the blade can be changed, then the screw can be retightened by hand and then the quick release handle can be seated applying pressure on the screw holding the blade or accessory in place. The multi-tool is also variable speed and can be adjusted while the tool is running using your thumb. The tool can be adjusted from 10,000 to 20,000 OPM (oscillations per minute), the adjust knob is marked from 2 to 10 and A. The speed adjustment has an Auto (A) position which starts at 15,000 OPM and ramps up to 20,000 OPM when load is applied. A battery use indicator is located on the face of the Red Lithium 5Ah battery. On the front of the multi-tool there is a handy 180 deg. LED light which shines on the work piece and blade tip in low light situations. The accessories include a sanding backing pad and 5 precut sanding sheets (coarseness P60, P80, 2 - P120 and a P240). Also, a 1 3/8-inch wide, wood cutting blade is provided. The 5Ah battery will provide plenty of run time for most daily jobs. I would recommend this multi-tool to any craftsman.

The M18 Fuel Milwaukee Oscillating Multi-Tool is the tool that I didn’t know I was missing. I was once told that if you have a project and you are not sure what tool to use, then you need a multi-tool. I would agree since owning this. This cordless oscillating tool has a variable speed control and an auto load feature to make it easier to change the blades. It also has an LED to light the work area. It comes with the Milwaukee M18 5.0 Ah Lithium-ion battery and charger, a carrying bag, one wood cutting blade and a sanding pad with 5 sandpaper sheets. Not only does it cut those hard to reach spots extremely well but it also does a great job as a sander. It feels good in the hand without a lot of vibration. This tool lives up to the quality of the Milwaukee name. I would definitely order it again.

This multitool has improvements over all competitors. The lateral throw is 4.2degrees and tool free blade changes. The operating area is lighted 180 degrees and the 10 variable speeds from 10000 to 20000 rpm. The vibration is less than similar tools. It seems quieter than my Fein tool. There is internal dampening and it’s easy to use. Comes with a 5.0 battery and oscillates with little tension to the user. Magnetic head helps hold blades while changing. There are 4 little magnets on the head that hold the metal blade in place to allow setting the screw-down. Comes with a saw blade and a sanding head and a few sand sheets.

Powerfull tool does the job fast and clean cuts.

This is great used mainly for cutting aluminum sheet metal weldments.

Great tool but battery angle sometimes makes it hard to get into position. Blade release is more cumbersome than other brands but not bad. Performance is pure Milwaukee excellence
