i did not sign for it
I asked that the delivery would be placed on my porch. The delivery was set down in front of my driveway which is far from the front of my house. I am a senior citizen and am unable to lift that 50 lb bag of soil. If the deliverer had gotten my signature then he would have known i was a senior citizen and was unable to lift the soil. I hope my signature was not forged by the deliverer.

I used a cheaper potting soil a couple of years ago to save some money and my potted plants didn't do well at all. Ever since then this is the only potting soil I will buy.

quality of mix
we have been a loyal advocate of miracle grow products. however just bought 4 bags and was very disappointed.
2 of the bags were so dry and the other 2 had rocks in them. guess that mag the weight of the bags and saved mix
might have to change brands.

Do not buy!
This soil is way too acidic for growing anything! We used 1/2 potting soil and 1/2 garden soil as recommended by Miracle Grow for our raised beds and everything turned yellow, pests are abundant and there are pine trees growing in it! We filled another bed with the same 1/2, 1/2 mixture of Jolly Gardener brand, the same vegetables, and that bed is beautiful! I will never buy Miracle Grow again. Buy the cheaper option and save a lot of hard work and heartache!

This product feeds for 1-2 months. We recommend to begin regular feeding with Miracle-Gro plant food thirty days after planting. This product is formulated from (one or more of the following: processed forest products, peat, coir, and/or compost), and sphagnum peat moss, perlite (white granules), fertilizer (yellow balls) and a wetting agent. Outdoor soil must be mixed at least 50/50 with the native existing earth. Otherwise, distinct soil layers will form. These layers are not good for the growth of plants.

Compost, twigs, and rocks?
Other brands may have this compost-like mix but I have never had so many large rocks in a bag of soil. (I found even more rocks after taking this photo.)

Soil amendment

love this
love this stuff but i wish it wasn't so expensive i had tried other stuff and they are causing alot of fungus nats this brand i had no problems with . it is helping so much rehabilitating plants that didn't fare with the other brands and that sucks because it cost so much for this i choose this by far and it is hard to get coupons for these bags so this year i starting over with little bit of this at a time because its a excellent seed starter and to replenish soil by far love this stuff

Gnats Galore!
I’ve given this more than one chance to live up to its name…but my plants become infested with ghats every.single.time. It’s so frustrating. As soon as I plant/re-pot with this soil, there are gnats EVERYWHERE. Never again.
