Receiver not working. Installed the fan it didn't work. Called an electrician, who states the receiver is only sending 20v to the fan. Will go by Home Depot today and see if we can swap out the receiver.

Hi Claudia - if this issue has not been resolved - please contact us internetsales@waclighting.com so we can assist.
Read the fine print.......Home Depot is advertising something that is NOT included in the price you pay. The wall control is SOLD separately. Customer service would not help. Disappointed.....not in the fan but in HD.

The highest speed isn't as fast as I expected, but doable. Overall, I'm still happy I bought it.
This stainless steel outdoor fan Rusted in less than 30 days
I purchased one 42 inch and two 60 inch Wynd fans for outdoor use on my front and back covered decks and had them professionally installed. This is the worst purchase I have made in a long time. Within the first 30 days all three started rusting. I emailed Modern Forms with my problem on 8/27/20. To date I have heard nothing. The claim in the Product Overview that they are marine grade stainless steel for "HARSH OUTDOOR CLIMATES" is completely false. This product and the support from the company is horrible.

Installed this fan to update the living room. The fan it very quite and has a ton of features. I would definitely recommend this fan. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the price tag.
Great fan, great light, but the controls don't work correctly
What happens when a company that really knows how to make a fan and integrated LED decides to get its product ot be part of the internet of things? Wynd, what appears to be a beta version of the software.
First, the fan is really good and the light is good. The overall fan/light looks quite handsome. Based on the quiet motor and well-balanced blades, I would expect this to last.
Now, what about the smart home software? First the Bluetooth wall switch doesn't get instant response at the fan. This just doesn't make sense since it is well within range. I can't actually get the light to completely turn off!
Now, to get the smart home, first you have to download at the Google play store (for Android phones) the Modern Forms app. This means that you have to create yet another account and have yet another app on your phone! Now you can try to follow the directions (it isn't easy, but can be done) to get you Modern Forms app hooked up to your Google Assistant app, which you may well have to download as well! This doesn't work on Chromebooks; you must download to a cell phone! Now that you have connected this into Google Assistant, you can link it into your Google Home app. There you can name your fan/light whatever you like. In a couple of minutes, you can tell Google to control it.
There are Google controls for the fan, but not for the light. Google can turn it on and off, although not the light completely! The light cannot be altered in brightness by Google because Modern Forms forgot to put in the dial control software in Google, I think.
This is likely the most technologically advanced fan/light sold at Home Depot, but the control software and the bluetooth control can't always access the fan/light, take a long time to get a response (sometimes 30 seconds), can't control the lighting level, and the Modern Forms app also can't do such control correctly. Wait until they debug the software/hardware that controls the fan/light. When will that happen? Who knows? It's like getting software with some major bugs in it and trying to make the best of it. It is pretty and works as a fan/light when you can get the controls to work close to what they should do.

The fan works fine, as expected, and is very quiet. The wired wall controller leave much to be desired. It often fails to communicate with the fan, one spends a lot of time trying to get it to start, and likewise, once it is operating, it sometimes takes 5 minutes to turn the thing off. I have not attempted to set up the wifi connection for the fan, but it would seem that a wall switch was more reliable. Or should be. I have a hard time recommending this fan just because of the hassle of the wall switch.
This is a great outdoor fan. Looks great on our backyard. My husband programmed it with our Amazon Echo and it’s app to control through our phone which is awesome!

Very quiet and well balanced. Like availability of wall switch that can control both light and fan when I only have 14-2-G wire between switch and fan.
