Applied according to the instructions and turned the moss black where I applied enough and other areas turned yellow and need more attention. Is this safe around shrubs and plants?

Used to like scotts, this bag had what looked like peices of flagstone in it that kept jamming my hand rotary spreader. Eventually it stopped and i had to spread by hand, very uneven and now i need to buy a new spreader.

Found hard moldy clump in bag.

However I do have some stubborn spots that get just enough water and shade to keep the moss growing. I'll have to reapply it and see if it helps. But overall this is a good quality product.

I bought 2 twenty pound bag and spread it heavy on a damp lawn with a drop spreader. Both bags were spread on about 2000 sqf of lawn. After waiting 2weeks nothing! What a waste of money and time.!!!

I applied heavily as directed by the home Depot representative. It only works on the exact spot where the pellet lands. I want to return this and get the liquid version instead. Waste of money and time. I would not buy again.

I waited 2 weeks before my review and there is no difference in the amount of Moss in my yard. Don’t waste your money and time. Bill

Forty eight hours after applying, per exact instructions, to a very damp lawn the moss is thriving. Portions of my lawn show a few spots of darkening moss, but its just as easy to rake out as the untreated parts. Its possible the early spring is a better time, moss seems to become resilient later in the year...like now. In fairness, I've tried a couple other treatments and even mixed the spray on and I can't get rid of the green slime! I'm close to scraping up the entire lawn and starting over.....

Very effective on mosses

The moss out seemed to work quickly. Noticed the moss turning black within a day. The two pack price makes the product a good value. Not so much for individual packs.

This product kills moss and is easy to apply. First time I've used the granules and you need to water it in thoroughly for it to work quickly. I've used the liquid version many times, and it works immediately (no need to water in), but is messier to apply to a large area. So there's a tradeoff. I'd use the granules if I was sure rain is coming in the next couple days.

killed moss as advertised. had to put down second applications on heavy infested area.

Put product down at the heavy rate due to large amount of moss,still a great amount left and will need to give it another round of product.

Easy to spread, works fast.

Disappointed that only one was delivered forcing me to go to store anyway.
