We needed lights on our basement steps. Purchased 2 of these and placed them near upper steps for additional lighting. They are perfect and make going up and down the steps so much easier and safer. Great purchase!

Hi! The light should stay activated with continuous motion in the dark. When the motion stops or moves out of range the light will shut off after 30 seconds. Thanks.

I have had this style in my home for a...
I have had this style in my home for a couple years. They don’t put out a lot of light but are helpful for me to place in areas where my dog may be at night (hallway, bedroom). Since they are motion activated, I can avoid tripping over the dog.

Nice product. I use it to light the steps when I want to get to the refrigerator in the garage and do not want to turn on the big lights. Could have been a little more brighter but does the job it is intended for. Sensor works great.

We have an elder dog who has difficulty with stairs...
We have an elder dog who has difficulty with stairs at night. Added these about 6 steps apart. Dog has no problem. We have stopped using overhead ourselves. Great product.

Thank you for taking time to review our lights. The light should activate when it detects motion, in the dark, that is within 10ft at a 120 degree angle. This the third Mr Beams we have purchased. Two are in closets and the third as a safety light near a staircase. They are easy to install and don’t eat batteries. If needed I would definitely buy another one.

I love these! Very bright and easy to hang up...
I love these! Very bright and easy to hang up using the adhesive. Although I do wonder how difficult it will be to change the batteries once they die. Maybe I should screw them into the wall of it comes down to it.

Works perfectly as a nightlight in the bathroom
Works perfectly. I mounted this in the bathroom, on the toilet side of the sink cabinet, so that it serves as a nightlight for half-awake trips to the bathroom. It detects motion instantly and stays on until 20-30 seconds after I leave. 15 lumens is more than enough for this purpose -- 5 lumens, or even 2, would be enough.
