Just what we were looking for to secure our basement door.

Perfect; just what I needed for my home. Great quality and price. Personally my door is dark chocolate/espresso brown, with a window rin the center - so my BF spray painted the bar brown to match. It looks great and I rest easy knowing my front door is now secure. Wonderful.

Product quality is very good. However, in my opinion the Grille sticks out too much from the Door / Window frame. Gap around the edge is too much.

the dimensions include not just the grille, but the mounting tabs. my very carefully measured wi dow is too big for this item. I guess ull have to hope no ody breaking in is strong.

Fits my door window well and looks good. One thing I wish the manufacturer to improve is the four screws on the grill are way too long. Can they be made shorter, not to stick out?

Was attached to door with ease. White color goes well with door.

I installed this on a side-door window to our garage and it provides another layer of security. The bars are about 0.20" dia. and spaced 1.4" center-to-center. It would NOT be easy to bend or destroy by hand, but a crowbar could certainly pry open or knock off individual bars. The finish quality is excellent but the welds don't look very robust. I replaced the attachment hardware with stainless steel equivalents. Definitely improves security compared to what we had.

The exact measurements are described in another comment (thanks to that person!). Another notable info is that this gets mounted by drilling bolts through the door. I was imagining, perhaps foolishly, a lighter metal mounted via screws. But it worked out great for me.

This is a solid product that is easy to install, and it looks even better than I thought it would!

Dimensionally imprecise. Today I installed two of these: one 36" length and one 26" length. When you get this thing, you'll see. Hold the grate up to your door. Mark the holes. Rotate the grate 180 degrees top to bottom. See just how off the mounting tabs are now from the original marks. This is not an issue if you just want the thing stuck on your door. But, if you have any desire to having something precise mounted to your door, where the drilled mounting holes are symmetrical and inline with each other, you'll be disappointed. You'll be further disappointed should you ever need to replace one of these with another one (due to vandalism or rust). I highly doubt the replacement's tabs will line up with the original mounting holes. Granted, the thing is wire, and the tabs can be bent to precise locations. Then, you'll have scraped and gouged and cracked the powder coat finish, so the thing will rust that much faster. Additionally, the wing nuts are silly. With my current mounting arrangement I can easily poke a rod through the grate, through my door window, and easily poke at the wings on the wing nuts to loosen them. Those nuts are being replaced with nylock nuts asap. There's a lot to like about this product, but it can be done a lot better.

Using these screens to protect the large window in my back door and to tie the door (an old multi piece wood door) together. The bars in these screens are made of ductile steel; you can bend, but can't break them. I don't believe that you can gain access to the door locks just by breaking glass; you will have to smash the door. Also added longer screws to hinges and lock plates, and a horizontal bar. Next up, a door alarm.
