This is an excellent product. I didn’t know when I ordered it that it was so large. You have to have special 21 gallon liners to fit the can. The great thing about the size is that you only have to empty the can infrequently.

Didn’t last long
This garbage can worked great for 2 1/2 momths and then a plastic piece that allowed the top to open and close broke off the lid. I won’t be buying this one again and can’t revommend it. So disapointed.

This thing was broken straight out of the box, this is the second one I've tried and neither have worked, the company apparently doesn't make quality products.

Terrible
This item stopped functioning correctly almost immediately after I purchased it. The lid wouldn't open all the way. Having this item has been an infuriating experience. Eventually I just ripped the lid off out of anger then bought a replacement from another brand. I know other people that own similar trashcans from other brands that work fine and have lasted a long time.

Can not get customer support
I have had this trash can for a year and a half. The lid will not open. The motion light turns green but that is all. Contacted Nine Stars thru their online web site and filled a warranty claim. It has a 2 year warranty. They do not respond. I have tried calling but the calls go to voice mail and they do not call back. I sent an email to their support team and have not received any response. I would not recommend this company.

It won't open it won't close, the batteries won't stay in contact.
It belongs on the garbage not collecting garbage

Quality is lost
I and my sister both got ninestars trash cans after seeing her mother-in-laws. The quality has went down because the only one still working is the oldest one my sisters mother in law has. They lasted 2yrs, 1yrs and under a year for the last one. If you don’t believe it, go look on the ninestars website for replacement lids. They are regularly sold out.

I literally never leave reviews, but...
This trash can is 10/10 tbh. I get buyer's remorse too frequently, so I was nervous to get this but the price point is excellent for an automatic trash can and it's truly been awesome. I've had it for almost 3 months, and I haven't had to change the batteries yet. The lid is secure and has a nice system for keeping the bag secure. We've also had problems with our dogs getting in the trash in the past, but it hasn't happened with this can! HIGHLY recommend.

Lid Does Not Work Straight Out of Box
Poor quality. Lid only open about a quatrr inch then closes. Do not buy this.
