Very heavy hinge strap. Works great.

I bought these straps to mount a gate on a preexisting post with 5/8" pins. When I tried to mount the gate, the holes in the straps were too small to fit by 1/32". I had to spend $25 on a drill bit to drill the straps out to fit, even after loosening the bolt.

Holds up my new fence the way it should! It works great

Along with the pintels I really like these hinges for gates as there are times I need to remove the entire gate and these allow me to do that.

The hole to connect to the gate hinge was too small.

Just what I wanted, at the best price. I would order again if I needed more . I am sure I will order many more items from HOME DEPOT.

I have 5/8" metal hooks for my metal fence poles. Ordered 4 of these online. Waited 6 days for arrival to find out that they are to small for my hooks. They are advertised to work with 5/8" hooks. Frustrated they did not fit and must go through another order process.

I debated over a lot of hinge options and went with this product based on the simple design, which I prefer, and the load capacity. I used these on a 6' high by 8' wide wood double gate (two 4' gates) made from pressure treated lumber. The hinges are very strong and handle the load with ease. Installation was simple and I like that I can easily take the gate off when I need too.

Had to replace hinges on a rubberized storage bin with no square corners therefore no easy way to attach traditional hinges. These strap hinges, while not intended for this kind of job, solved the problem.

This is a thick piece of steel. I thought it would be sheet metal. I think it will last forever.
