We hired someone to dig out and pour the concrete ring. It was worth every penny! It would have been quite a lot of work. I will note that we live in an area that has very large rocks in the soil, so digging is not an easy task. If you live in an area with good soil it probably would not be as bad. My husband did the actual fire pit himself and it was relatively easy, taking just a couple of hours. We enjoy having the cooking grate!

Nice, easy to assemble kit. The price, I thought, was a little high for the number of wall bricks that you get. But the fire ring is heavy duty

We have really enjoyed this fire pit. The set up was actually easy especially if you’re a DIYer. You will however need to get extra materials like the leveling gravel and sand which I think for the price, everything you need should be included.

it was easy for 2 people to put it together and all of our friends that joined us for the first fire were all impressed and asked where did we get the material, so I believe there will be a few more orders for this kit coming into the Home Depot

Easy to assemble. Looks great in the backyard. The cooking great is awesome. Already cooked up some bacon!

I purchased this item online. Home Depot promised that it will offer $50 discount if purchase amount over $300 when paying by newly opened Home Depot credit card. However after finishing the new credit card application process, Home Depot denied to honor this promise. And then I went to a local store. They couldn't fix the issue. Not happy about this order they processed.
