These are very nice lights at a very affordable. We shopped around and Newhouse lights were the best option available. Unfortunately, we lost a strand to Tropical Storm Ian. Four of the sockets popped off and the plug separated from the wires, thanks to a tree limb. We recommend taking the lights down in windy or poor weather.

Good price good quality! So happy with this purchase. I will order more for my big backyard.

These lights have literally transformed my backyard into a wonderful place to entertain during the summer nights. The light illuminates the entire yard and everyone wants to be in there to party. Now my sister wants them for her yard. It's so beautiful and bright and looks like an outdoor party every time we turn them on. I can't stop people from wanting to come to hang out at the bar and the gazebo. The extra lights came in handy too. The guy who hung the lights accidentally broke 2 of the bulbs when he dropped the cord a few times. Thanks for making my yard my happy place.

50 feet of lamps, each with a clip on the side of the socket. Which will make it nice to install in a straight line IF you first run a fine rope or heavy twine along the eaves of the house first.then it can be adjusted for spacing easier as well as installed and removed easily as needed. I did not do that as I used hangers spaced out as you can see in the photos. Once installed the remote control works as designed with the dimmer settings for just the right mood settings on your patio or whatever. The only problem is that this is a two wire system and requires an 3 prong plug to 2 prong adapter if you use a three wire extension cord. Otherwise it is easy to set up, comes with two spare lamps and instructions. Love the lighting, Am thinking about getting another one in order to have a full squared lighting on the patio for a summers evening, and set the mood for love. :)

Newhouse lighting LED outdoor lights bring a bit of sunshine to your night party. These things are super bright, but dimmable if you want to shift up the ambience. They look more like traditional filament bulbs because it's cased in glass and the light doesn't come from a little square LED part but a long filament looking tube. But because of that it casts a nice bright light in 360 degrees. I was able to hang them up with minimal hardware, but I'll end up reinforcing it so I'll feel better about leaving them up long term. Each bulb comes with that Christmas light type roof clip, and these could be nice Christmas lights, but in the style of patio lights it just needs to be mounted differently.

Is there anything prettier then a string of outdoor lights around a sitting area at night? We have a new gazebo from HD and wanted to add a string of lights around it's top railings. This set was perfect for us. It has two connecting strings, each with 25 LED bulbs, a remote on-off/dimmer/timer and a transformer. The set is cleverly packaged with each bulb nestled in a eggcrate like layer of spongy foam. Set up is so simple. Remove the bulbs from their foam cradle, unscrew the bulbs and attach the cord via wire or zip ties or stick on hooks to your gazebo or porch railing, etc. Replace the bulbs, plug in the cord and hit the remote. If you think you can hang the cord without breaking the bulbs then you would not absolutely need to unscrew them all but we did it for extra safety. You get 2 extra bulbs in the set. We didn't try the timer which includes a choice of 1 thru 6 hrs. We did try the dimmer and, of course, used the remote on-off. Everything worked beautifully. The lights are beautiful. Don't know how they will do with all our south FL rain but time will tell.

Looking at the manufacturer photo, I thought these bulbs were going to be bigger than they are, but they are small. That being said; I love the size of the bulbs because they are not large and clunky, and they are very bright. I love the look of these. The bulbs seem to be high quality LED's, and have different dimming capabilities. The bulbs are all a little loose at first because they are meant to be removed before installation so you don't crack or break them during install. I had to buy white zip ties to install them for my set up. The remote has timer settings and dimmer settings like 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%. I basically love everything about these bulbs, and set up was a breeze. I'm hoping these last for years and years.

These are top notch, quality lights! They came with 5 spare bulbs, seem to be of a heavier duty wire, and have insulated bulb area to keep moisture out. The order arrived on time and in perfect condition. They give off the perfect glow, yet do not attract pesky bugs. I will be ordering another set for another outdoor area. I highly recommend this product.

I was looking for a way to add some light in my yard without having to run wire to add a fixture. These are perfect and put off a nice warm, incandescent glow with a classic globe look. I really love the fact that you get 5 free replacement bulbs just in case one breaks or burns out. I can’t wait until summer when I can enjoy them out on the patio. The string is made with very nice quality wire and they seem like they will last a long time.

We used these indoors in a garden room. They are brighter than we expected which is nice because of the added light they gave the room. We installed them on a dimmer switch and they dim great so we can get whatever light lever we want. They are glass and although we didn't break or crack any of the bulbs they felt a little delicate to me as I was putting them up.

The Newhouse Lighting 50’ LED party string light set is a nice lightweight set. I call it lightweight because the cord is pretty thin for an outdoor set. It is approximately 3/16” wide. As such, I wouldn’t recommend stringing it a long distance without a support wire. Each bulb has a hook (see attached picture), but they are pretty small hooks, gap wise. I would want a more robust cord if I was to hang these outdoors as a semi-permanent installation. All that said, they are quite bright and while they are a cooler white than the incandescent version (comparison picture attached), they aren’t too cool white. The bulbs seem pretty solid and they include 5 replacement bulbs. I have included a comparison picture of the LED bulb to their incandescent bulb. They cast a nice overall light and create a good atmosphere. And at 25w these ought to be easy on my electric bill. You will need to have an extension cord or an outlet very close to where you want to hang these. The leader from the male end of the cord is 7 1/2” from the plug to the first bulb socket.

We love spending time in our yard and gazebo. We have a long boardwalk leading from our front door to our backyard and we use these long strands of lights to light the way at night. The lights can be strung indoors or out and we use them along the pathway and inside the gazebo. The bulbs are on the small side but give off a nice light. You will need to hook them on with twist ties or something similar as they do not come with anything on the cords for hanging them. They come with 5 extra bulbs. They can be left outside all year long because they are made for any weather. I have a bluetooth indoor/outdoor plug that I can turn on and off with my phone from anywhere, so we're always ready to enjoy the outdoors.

This is a nice set of lights and it gives off a really nice warm color, and because they are lower wattage individually they are not overpoweringly bright, I put them in my daughters bedroom and they work just fine for a lighting source. But that is also a downfall for me as they are very "thirsty" when it comes to power consumption. I have it on a wifi outlet (So I can turn it on and off with alexa) that monitors the power, my deep freeze uses about .5 Kwh per day and these use that in about an hour. Not a big deal, but my daughter likes them so much she wants them on all the time :D Another note to be aware of, they come with 5 replacement bulbs, which is great, but the ones that came with mine were a different color temperature, like a 5000K daylight bulb. So they look out of place in the strand...

50 ft. LED Indoor/Outdoor Party String Lights with 55 LED Globe G40 Bulbs (5 Free Bulbs Included) – When I ordered these lights I hadn’t yet decided what I was going to do with them, but I think now that I will use them in a Christmas decoration like a 4 foot by 4 foot star. The 50 ft. string has 50 candelabra size sockets/bulbs plus the 5 spare bulbs; being LED and low power the bulbs do not get hot. When plugged in, the lights emit a lot of light at a total power consumption of about 25 watts for the string. The 20-gauge wire is like 2-conductor lamp-cord, kind of thin but capable of handling the 50 LED lights. According to the product information sheet, up to 15 strings can be connected. The string is long enough and bright enough for accent lighting around a patio or deck or along the eaves of a house.

The 25ft. LED Party string Lights set by Newhouse Lighting (25 lights) is the best Led string light set I have ever checked out. The packaging is bulletproof (and excellent for secure storage when your lights are not being used). There are two extra bulbs provided along with the usual assortment of safety warnings and instructions which are pretty good by the way. The actual string is made of 20 gauge AWG extension cord type wire - not that cheesy two or three strand Xmas light material. The sockets are stout and well made as well and have a built in clip for ease of installation. The bulbs are glass and the light they put out is a soft warm glow similar to dimmed incandescent lighting. They are very easy to hang and adjust as you are figuring the best way to configure them. The Home Depot describes them as "Weather Resistant" and dimmable. Newhouse Lighting offers a one year warranty (online) which you can double to two years if you register your purchase with them. The only reason I rated these lights as Good instead of Excellent is that I've only had them up a week - too short a time to judge how long they will last.

A very nice set of incandescent party lights. But I thought the description said LED? The set I got was really nice, and was packed very safely for transport. These are 50 ft of cute incandescent bulb party lights. It fits my 14x12 ft screen porch perfectly. And it lights up the space very nicely. Right now I have them hanging loopy on hooks, which is a nice look. I might consider using the built in attachment hooks on the back for a more straight look. Not sure, I'll try other things when it gets warm. I guess the point is it there are lot of options with this set since it is compact with a pretty compact cord, yet is 50ft long so it can fill a space. But the description I got said LED. Taking a couple of stars off for that. This set is clearly incandescent and draws 253 Watts. I surely will only be using these for the occasional party to avoid too much power usage. The set is labeled "PSTRINGINC50". Take note. Any of these Newhouse sets that have "INC" in them are incandscent. For LED, you want the ones that have model numbers "PSTRINGLED". Made in China

I love, love. Love these lights. Just upset I didnt get the longer strand. These are to short for what I wanted them for. I had two ideas, going across my patio or in the tree out back. Now it's going around my drive way for Christmas. They will be used year round not just for the Holidays. I'm going to get another set cause I think they will look awesome in my tree out back for barbeques.

LED light bulbs are the way to go. When I first saw these lights in use I liked the way they lit the yard. It kind of reminded me of those Christmas tree lots where we bought our trees. My son was the first one to get these type of lights and I thought they looked great. Before too long he was complaining about always having to change burned out incandescent bulbs. When I came across these LED bulbs, I knew they were the way to go. I needed about 75 feet of bulbs so I got a 50' string and a 25' string. There's a plug on the end where I could plug in the second string.

These lights came just in time to be incorporated into our Christmas light display. The strand is lightweight so it was easy to put up. The lights are a lovely glow color. My only complaint is that the bulbs break very easily but over all if you're careful, they are put up with ease. They are attached to other lights and haven't blown a circuit so they're not pulling too much electricity. They'll be hung year round in our back yard, we love them so much!

This is an awesome string of lights! Very stylish and match the style of lights that are seen in many outdoor settings. The set comes with extra bulbs for easy bulb replacement. The lights don’t appear to be heavy at all. The lights don’t require much support to hold the string in place. At least no more than your average holiday lights. These lights have been a great addition to our patio at a reasonable price. I strongly recommend to anyone looking for this style of lights!

These are great lights. We bought both the 50' and the 25' sets. Plan the put them on our front and back porches next spring. It's a little cold during winter. They are very bright and even come with some spare bulbs. That was a nice perk that I didn't realize I was getting. I feel the spacing between the bulbs is nice. Look forward to entertaining next spring.

The 50 ft. Incandescent Indoor/Outdoor Party String Lights with 55 LED Globe G40 Bulbs are pretty bright when they are plugged in. The bulbs themselves are large and plastic so im hoping that they might be shatterproof as well. They are packaged very well in their box so there was no damage and included are 5 spare bulbs. Each light bulb is spaced out about every 11 inches and has hooks to aid in hanging the string -they remind me of over-sized Christmas lights! They are lightweight. Good thing about these is that you can link up to 10 strings together -more than enough for a part or indoor/outdoor lighting.

I just got the 50 ft. Incandescent Indoor/Outdoor Party String Lights with 55 Incandescent Globe G40 Bulbs (5 Free Bulbs Included), today, they are very nice looking lights. They seem to be much brighter than conventional style lightbulbs. They do look like they are really well made, but they did come with four broken bulbs, maybe that’s why they give you five extra bulbs in the package. Anyway I hope that they last me along time.

Beautiful lights with a nice, warm yellow color. They string nicely across the room and look beautiful. They come with all the bulbs attached, but the directions say to hang the string first, then attach the bulbs (so why would they come attached?). The bulbs are pretty fragile, we already accidentally broke two. Luckily they come with 5 extra! Overall, great lights for a party or to warm up the ambiance. The bulbs are pretty fragile, I wish they were a bit stronger.

These lights make your patio or outdoor space fun and inviting. They are very easy to hand and are very bright. They bulbs are made of real glass and shine nice and warm white. The strand comes with five extra bulbs. It is super cost efficient and saves energy compared to traditional party lights. There is one draw back that all party light sets seem to have. The first light is within 6 inches of the plug. I wish there was a longer run of empty cord before the bulbs start so you don't have to plug it directly next to where you want the lights

These lights are excellent. The glass bulbs easily screw in and out in the case that replacement is necessary. 5 spare bulbs are sent with the lights. They are packaged very securely and arrived all intact. Each bulb also has a clip attached if desired to use for hanging. The cord is sturdy, yet flexible. They can be used indoor or outdoor. They create a great ambiance in any setting.
