This base rocks
I reviewed a lot of bases before deciding on this one. Most were plastic, too lite or had no wheels to help with moving the base; the heavier metal ones were expensive. This hit a sweet spot for the function I wanted at a great price. And as a bonus, it looks stylish too! Delivery was fast, though I don't know how keen the guy was carrying this heavy item to our door! It was simple to put together with the tool included in the box and fits our 1.5" umbrella pole well.

Finally a base that works!
This is the only patio umbrella base that works for my free-standing umbrella. It is very heavy, but he wheels and the handles are great for mobility.

Thats is always a problem after time. Very sturdy, well made, very attractive. I bought 9, one extra incase they arrived damaged. They were perfect,

Good for my needs.
I think the wheels should be a little bit lower profile it stands higher then one would think and for that height it is off the ground — the wheels appear diminutive. The locking collar seems sturdy. Still waiting to hear back on what the extra bolts are for.

The product arrived in great condition. Very heavy and had to move it around with a dolly, and with care to avoid any possibility of the base being cracked. Put it together very easily and quickly. Rolls around fairly easily even on our uneven pavers, but didn't budge during wind conditions. Works great with our oversized 2" diameter umbrella pole.

This umbrella stand is huge and very heavy. It can and does withstand heavy rains and high winds without tipping, leaning or falling over. It is easy to assemble just put the wheels on and have another person help you move it to the area you want it placed at. It is well made and will last me a life time. The umbrella is staying securely in the post and nothing so far has even budged the stand or umbrella.

Very solid and heavy umbrella base. I was not able to use this base under my patio table because of it's height compared to the tables construction. That will not keep me from being able to use this umbrella base as it can also be used as a stand alone base for your umbrella. Most of the umbrella bases I've had in the past have not been as heavy or sturdy as this base. I doubt the wind will take an umbrella with this sturdy base.

Very heavy duty and really like the 2 handles to move it from place to place. Wish the wheels were a little larger butt all in all a great stand.

beautiful but broke with no use.
It is outlandish - we literally moved this less than 2 feet (3 jnches ar a time) and the wheels broke and now wobble. Beauty without funxtion os meaningless!

Better than expected. Easy to put together, just put the wheels on and the post to hold the umbrella and that was it. It holds the umbrella very securely, no wobbling! It moves easily when the wheels are unlocked and it holds tight when the wheels are locked. I am more than pleased with this item.

Oh. My. Gosh. This bugger is HEAVY! Make sure when removing from the box, you flip it over and insert wheels in unlocked position before trying to move it. All joking aside, I live in Florida, and we get some pretty strong winds from time to time. My umbrella is going NOWHERE in this base.
