Keeps you toasty
I ordered the Large size and it has enough room to allow a sweatshirt underneath. It is a little snug with a sweatshirt but not really tight. I used this on a camping trip where temps fell into the high 20's. I was out when the temps were in the mid to low 30's and was very impressed with the warmth provided by this jacket. After pressing the power button, the jacket uses the high setting and preheats for 5 min. Then I believe it automatically switches to medium. The power button changes colors based on your selected heat setting. I used the medium setting and had to switch down to the low setting at times because I got too warm. I only had on a short sleeve t-shirt and a long sleeve t-shirt under the jacket. The hood is a nice addition and I like that the hood can be removed. The hood is not heated and I don't think it would make much of a difference if it was. The fabric is durable and seems like it would be easy to clean. The battery is small and you don't really notice that it is in the jacket. The pockets for your hand are a good size. The chest pocket is large enough for a cell phone. I have a samsung S series. The battery can be charged using a regular usb cable or a usb-c cable. The other end has the 2.5mm jack that plugs into the jacket. Overall I am very pleased with the product.

Great winter jacket
When I saw this Ororo heated jacket online I couldn’t resist to order it . The Ororo jacket came in it’s own backpack. The jacket is black and yellow and come with a detachable hood. It also comes with a battery and a charger to keep warm in freezing temperatures. The fabric is soft and warm enough to keep comfortable without the heated battery. I can’t wait to use it when I travel to the east.

perfect fit, great warmth, and durable!
The ORORO Men's Large Black/Yellow 7.38-Volt Lithium-Ion Heated Jacket with Detachable Hood and 1 Upgraded 4.8 Ah Battery Pack is the exact jacket needed for cooler weather work and/or play as it is so well made it can stand up to rigorous work on the job and outdoor physical activity! The size chart is great and the jacket even has a fleece lined collar and other areas too! The battery is easy to charge and has a long life, too!

Attractive outerwear that brings the heat.
The ORORO Men's Large Black/Yellow 7.38-Volt Lithium-Ion Heated Jacket with Detachable Hood and 1 Upgraded 4.8 Ah Battery Pack is a great choice for the fall and winter. The quality workmanship that's put into this jacket is exemplary. It's not just functional but very fashionable too. On any cold day where ever you are just push the button and in minutes you are feeling warmth that will last a long time. It's actually a unisex type of outerwear that women like too. It comes complete with charger, plug, and battery, and removable hood.

Excellent coat
I ordered this Ororo Men's large heated jacket for my husband. But, you know, I don't think he is going to get it. I love it! This is a well mad, substantial jacket with an excellent hood. It feels nice and warm without the heating element on. I love all the zippered pockets. And the men's large is only a little bit big on me, so, sorry honey!! The jacket comes in a nice net bag with the battery, the charging cable, and the block to plug it in. The instructions are easy to understand. Give the battery a good charge and then plug the battery into the cable in the left side inner pocket. Press the button on the left upper chest to activate the heating. It starts heating the jacket in 5 minutes and feels so cozy! There is a low, medium and high setting. The higher the setting, the shorter period of battery power, as one might imagine. You still get hours of wear on high, but unless you are going subzero, you probably won't need the high setting. I will have room for layers also, but I probably will not need them. You can feel the wires when you put your hands in the pockets or run them along the top. But they aren't bad. The battery isn't large and rides low in the left front. You should always be careful about getting something like this too wet. There are some people who should not wear such a coat, like those who are unable to communicate that they are getting too warm. This jacket is not recommended for diabetics, people under the influence, or for use when sleeping. I am so happy to have this warm coat for the cold winters ahead. Recommended highly.

Heated jacket
This jacket is great. Since I work outside it was a great addition to my many layers. I could still feel the warmth through three layers under the jacket. I'm posting a picture of me on a metal roof the coldest day of 2020.

This jacket is warm enough I rarely need to turn the heat on but when I do I'm warmed up immediately. My only regret is not buying one earlier.

This is such a nice jacket to have. I always get cold in the middle of my back but no more. This jacket has 3 heat settings and the hot is pretty dang hot, I was out in 21 degree weather and I had to turn it down. I also run pretty warm so for others this setting is probably welcome. The jacket does come with a USB-C charger to charge the battery pack. I ran the jacket about 4 hours without the battery dying on me so I'm not sure how long it will run but longer than that. Also you can use the battery pack to charge your phone which I thought was a really nice feature. The zippers are YKK and feel really good and sturdy and the fabric and seams feel like they're going to hold up for a long time. Defiantly my favorite jacket now.

Wow! and again Wow! This is a great jacket, well-made true to size, very warm even with out the heating element on. The Ororo men’s heated jacket has a water repellent polyester soft-shell outer layer with a little spandex in it for increased freedom of movement. The insulation and inner lining are also polyester breathable but wind resistant. There is one zippered pocket on the left outside, one Velcro pocket on the bottom rt inside and a zippered battery pocket on the lower left inside. All stitching is well done, and the main zipper has a wind flap behind it to help keep the wind out. The cuffs are open (not tubular ribbed) with fleece and the bottom of the jacket is also open but there are two stretch adjusters to help close the bottom a bit. The collar is a high collar with fleece that has a zipper cover so that your chin is not against the zipper when fully zipped up. The hood is fleeced lined with stretch adjusters to help pull it to more of a snorkel if required. There are three carbon fiber heating elements, two in the front and one in the back. All three are up high at the chest and shoulder area. The battery is Lithium-Ion Battery (5200 mAh, 7.4 V) and is rechargeable up to 800 times. The battery has 4 red LED lights that will tell you the amount of charge remaining, and it also has a USB port that will allow you to charge a cell phone if needed. Ororo states that the jacket will run 10 hrs. on low, 6 on Medium and 3 on high. The jacket comes with three different charging adapters, US, England and Europe but I could be wrong about the last two. The jacket works when the Ororo button on the left chest is pushed and held for 3 seconds. The jacket will then go into a 5 min. heat up mode with the Ororo symbol blinking red. After heat op mode is complete, the jacket turns down the heat to medium and the symbol turns white. The user can turn the jacket down further to low (blue) or back up to high (red) just by pushing the button. To turn off, push and hold for 3 seconds. Things to know, the battery is Lithium-Ion and if you plan on flying you need to check with the airlines to see if or how you need to travel with it. The Battery “WILL” set off a metal detector, but the jacket will not in my testing. Back to the flying, if you go through a scanner the wiring “WILL” show up and it really does look like you’re a walking bomb so be aware that you may be scrutinized a little more. If the inside lining does get wet, you should “NOT” turn the battery on. The jacket is washable but only if the battery is removed and the jacket is placed into a mesh bag. The jacket cannot be just thrown into the washer with the expectation that it will work properly afterwards. Some reviews disliked the size or height of the hood, I found it to be just fine extending past my face to provide a type of bill to keep water off the face. If you are wearing some type of a hat or helmet under the hood the little extra space helps IMO. If you were to remove the hood there is a flap/pocket to conceal the zipper on the jacket. Some reviews did not like the Ororo button being lit up when the jacket was on, really no issue just noise. The zipper battery pocket is just above waist high and somewhat just at or slightly above seatbelt level. I found no issue with it but then I did not get into an accident either. Things I did not like, other than the open cuffs I found this to be one of the nicest jackets that I’ve ever warn. Would I wear this jacket on an expedition to Mt. Everest, no. Would I wear this jacket waking the dog, going to the store, at the kid’s football game, going downtown to shop at non-mall stores or First night out, you bet-cha I would! This is a well-made jacket that keeps your core warm and you able to stand the elements just a little longer. Recommended.

Extremely good looking and very well made heated jacket. Like the black color with blue trim and the detachable hood is very handy. I did get the men’s instead of the women’s thinking it would give me more room especially if I’m wearing a heavy sweater but this is considered a men’s large and it JUST fits me so 4 stars instead of 5 for fit and sizing. Also there is too much head room in the hood so it looks silly with empty space but I’m not that concerned. Battery charged up in a few hours. Kit comes with all you need including UK charger adapters. It has different heat intensities to choose from with just a push of the button and it lights up too. So very cool. The battery is a bit on the large size and kind of heavy but it has its own dedicated pocket for it and does warm you up. The back and neck area I really felt the warmth. Never had a heated jacket before so this is going to be useful and definitely interesting. It says you can machine wash it but I’ve had heated throws which I did wash and they were never the same so I’m not sure what to do if it does get dirty, maybe spot clean? Overall, very cool jacket.

If you haven't ventured into the world of heated jackets, let me tell you, you're in for a warm treat. These ORORO jackets have built in heating units in the chest, back and around the collar. You power them with the new world of batteries we are currently enjoying. You plug the battery unit in to house current to fully charge, plug the battery into the jacket, turn it on to your desired temperature... and then go face whatever Mother Nature has to throw at you on a cold day. They work, they're warm, and they're comfortable. They even look great when you wear them! What more could you ask for in a coat? I'm glad you asked. ORORO rigged these jackets up with you and your cold weather exposure in mind by adding three warmth levels. If you're the kind who's out in the weather for an entire 8 hour shift, put it on the lower setting and and you'll get warmth (at a little lower level) for 8 hours. If you're normal need is only for an hour or two, set in on the highest setting and you'll get a LOT of warmth for those couple hours. If your task of the day is in between a full day and a couple hours, use the middle setting and you'll get a steady supply of wonderful warmth for 4 hours or so. All it takes is a press on the button to make your selection of desired heat vs. time and you've got it! The button even changes color to let you know what setting you have it on (Red for warmest level but shortest duration, Blue for lower level warmth but for all 8 hours of your day, and White for a more moderate heat assist for 4 hours or so). So, they've got you covered whether you're at work all day or out raking the leaves or shoveling the snow for an hour or two. You're going to love it when you shovel snow. It comes with a hood for those kinds of days when it's cold enough to demand one. I don't usually care for hoods at all, so I detach mine... but I do save it for those awfully bitter cold days... and during those, I'm more than happy the ORORO folks decided to include one. *Just a note... if you're like me and you like to ride your motorcycle deep into the colder days, you're gonna LOVE this jacket, my friends! And along those same lines, if you ride bicycles or walk as exercise, these jackets make all those sorts of activities much more tolerable for a much longer extended season.

ORORO Men's Large Black/Blue 7.4-Volt Lithium-Ion Soft Shell Heated Jacket with Detachable Hood and One 5.2 Ah Battery Pack is not my first heated jacket. These jackets are nice, but there is the issue of the battery weight. The battery adds about a half pound, all in one spot which goes with these jackets. Having said that it is a well made jacket, light weight, waterproof and looks sharp. The battery is well placed and don't feel the weight when moving around. It has four pockets (one for the battery brick on the lower jacket inside), a zip front, removable hood that gives it a rugged look, at least in my eyes. The length is down to the hips which protects against back drafts when you bend as this length jacket can ride up. The coat is insulated, has a padded feel to it which is nice and holds the carbon fiber wires used with the heating element. You have to go looking for the wires in the coat, it doesn't feel odd at all. The inside trim is a nice soft fleece like material which adds to the cozy feel to it. With its construction, on warmer Fall and Spring days you can leave the battery at home. The jacket without the battery is warmer than my other jacket and when turned on I can feel the heat. Having described its construction, it is a stylish jacket. The hood besides being practical, is part of the look and although, it is detachable you'll want to keep it part of the coat. The sleeves are comfortable and not baggy, the length fits me just fine. The entire coat fits well and is sized just right for a Large. The blue color which highlight and contrasts with the black adds a nice touch. Additionally, the jacket has three heat setting with the switch in the breast pocket logo area which lights up when on. This is a jacket that will keep you warm and looks good. You can see some style went into it and no one will know its heated except for the glowing logo over the breast pocket area.

This is a great jacket, works well and very useful in cold weather. Originally ordered a large and thought that would be fine, I'm 5' 9" and around 167lbs, but it was a little tight in the shoulders so I returned it and ordered the Xlarge and it fits great. Thanks wifey! She ordered herself one also and loves it. They weren't cheap so I hope they last, have only had them for a month but nice so far.

    Great for smaller people
I bought this for my husband according to other reviews and the sizing chart about the fit. He's slim but tall with longer arms and torso so the large turned out to be a no-go. I'm a 5'4 woman about 140lbs and it wasn't that much bigger than what I normally wear in a women's M. Just returned for the XXL to give that a shot.
