This went on very well while sealing a metal on metal roof penetration with snow and ice present. It provided excellent adherence and seal and was very easy to tool into place.

The caulk was hardened and was very difficult to squeeze out of the tube. It took me three times as long to complete the project.

Great product. Good consistency for all around use to weatherproof a seam or any exterior application.

Sealant was pretty thick would not come out of smaller hole. Excellent as an adhesive but, not for caulking.

This was the window manufacturer's recommended sealant. It's suppose to have a high degree of flexibility. It's a little stiff coming out of the tube with a 1/4" bead.

Easy to use and seals well.

We have a south facing door so I wanted to use the best caulk I could..This was not it!! It was sticky ..hard to flow from the caulking gun and miserable to work with

Purchased because it is highly reviewed and recommended by other contractors. Even with the inner and outer tip cut as large as possible it was almost impossible for my chalk gun to push. It took squeezing the trigger with both hands as hard as I possibly could. Date is DOM21022, so within 24 month of manufacture.

Consistently the best caulk.

Last 1 inch of the tube was unusable. Seal blew out contents appeared to have hardened. Overall the product works as advertised.

I like this caulk becasue it is easier to get it to flow into cracks and crevices and it is supposed to be more elastic than regular caulk it might mean that I don't have to recaulk the butt joints on the long runs of siding. Time will tell.

Bought for a friend to caulk around a window frame outside. Was easy to pump out. Not sure how it did.

it was so easy to install and finish it with sparkling ..after you could not see the patch PERFECT!!

dried in 1 hour. it’s super thick tho…’I had a hard time pushing it out of the 9” caulking gun…. but then again, I have weak arms lol

Best stuff out there

I have used OSI Quad Max for many years with no complaints on a wide variety of surfaces, I have several 5-8 year old outdoor projects and caulk bead is still perfect! Reviewers with "problems" with their canisters were likely using expired product, cheap caulk gun, or inexperienced. I have used at least 100 tubes of this stuff and never had a tube fail. Don't use a powered caulk gun! This stuff is thicker than most!

Like some other reviewer stated, pierced the tube like any other caulking tube, and it acted like it was dried out, only flowed out of the rear of the tube, making a huge mess and at the same time ruined my caulking gun. Not impressed with this product at all. Luckily I had a couple of Dap tubes of caulk to finish the job. My advice based on this experience, stay away from this product.

Title says it all. If you want something that will stay clear, this is not the product you want.

Found it to hold up well to weathering.

Working time is good and I needed it paintable. Was needed for my JH siding repaint job. One of the best exterior caulks on market today.
