The best exterior caulk on the market. Used by siding professionals exclusively. NOT water soluble so have a steady hand! Comes in many colors to match siding.

OSI is the only product to use for exterior siding, windows and doors. Excellent grab, no sag, bonds to most clean surfaces and allows for up to 1/4-inch expansion and contraction. Great selection of colors on the shelf for common use and a huge selection of custom colors from OSI. Far superior to other exterior caulking sealers on the market.

QuadMax is one of our preferred brands because of its durability, longevity and ease of use. The detachable snout makes it easy to store in a truck or tool box. The slice off the top opening means you don’t have to use the puncture rod on your caulk gun. I love that because it makes the job so much cleaner. QuadMax has claimed to have improved their clear to last for years. Time will tell, but either way this is a great product and worth every penny.

The product worked great and provided a smooth and seamless seal. For my application, I used the "clear" color which provided the look I was going for. The adhesive seems extremely strong and really holds everything in place while waterproofing at the same time. Odor was minimal. If using on cold days, I would suggest warming to room temperature in order to get a smooth and steady flow. Very pleased and will be getting more to finish up the never-ending to do list.

Dispensed great and didn’t drip like crazy. Was easy to smooth on and dried quickly. I was able to paint the same day. I will be switching to this brand for all my home improvement needs.

After using OSI Quad Max, I will not use any other caulking products. I used this product on a siding installation during cold, wet weather and had such great results. This product is as good as commercial grade caulk but half the price

OSI is magic....I've been using it for 20 years...most guys use the cheap water based crap.....OSI levels itself out beautifully and lasts for ever.....I love it.....send me a couple of cases...lol

Very easy to use, it applied smoothly and consistent. I have a sunroom that had windows covering two sides of the room. They were old single pane, wooden and leaked. I replaced them with 1 picture window on each wall. I closed the areas on either side of the windows and covered it with siding. The White No.001 QUAD Advanced Formula Window Door and Siding Sealant VOC was used to seal the J-channel to the existing structure. It met all my expectations.

when you get it out of the tube it does what it says 3 out of 12 unusable... broke seal but would not flow out except from the bottom... ruined caulk gun definitely for pro use only... unless you like working with marshmallow cream like sticky mess that can only be cleaned up with mineral spirits

We inherited a caulked deck (never wouldn't have caulked if I'd built it myself...!). Not too pretty now, but this repair will get us through the winter, and then we'll finish stripping the paint next spring and stain the deck. The space below is staying dry so far. Fingers crossed! Strongly advise using a power caulk gun to apply, as it's stiff and thick.

Working time is good and I needed it paintable. Was needed for my JH siding repaint job. One of the best exterior caulks on market today.

Great stuff… dip your finger in dawn dish detergent and you can smooth it out.

This review is not about the product. OSI is a very good product, but that is not the issue of this review. I just happened to find one of the colors that I needed. The other color I needed was #004 Arctic White and it was not available. If you are going to offer this product for sale, you should offer the entire range of colors manufactured. I could understand if some colors take longer due to stocking issues, but the current system is hit-or-miss. I ended up buying the two colors I needed from two different sources.

Great for cold Wyoming weather

I purchased this caulk due to one particular issue we had, in that we had to have a low odor or low emission while curing. (Person in the house with Asthma.) I cannot recommend this enough. Not only does it spread beautifully, and adhere to just about ANYTHING, it comes with one feature that no other caulk I have ever used has: The nozzle unscrews. All other caulk you need to have a long piece of narrow metal to break the seal. With OSI Quad Max, you unscrew the nozzle, break the seal with a nail or pocket knife and then reattach the nozzle. it may seem like a little thing, but when you're in the middle of a big project, you don't have time to find that one piece of insulation wire or that one piece of stiff wire you keep around just for that purpose. Great product, in a multitude of colors, packaged for easy use. How can you go wrong?

Love the matching and color fast formula of Quad Max. Great flex, tooling and over all look.
