Had a 9 cupper that quit after 7 months. Was a Christmas gift so I did not have receipt. Luckily my daughter had a digital copy and after a few weeks we had a new one. Makes great coffee, and their customer service was excellent.

I received my machine the other day and went through all the setup instructions. When it came time to run the initial water cycle, pushing the brew button resulted in the descaling button flashing 3 times. I spent an hour online and found nothing helpful. Gently rocking the machine to swirl the water fixes the problem momentarily, but issue shows up again for next brew. If I can’t find a permanent fix, I’ll have to return my machine.

Me and my wife are the great lover of coffee , now we can say we are in love this oxo coffee maker.We have tried many high end brand coffee maker but after using oxo 9 cup coffee maker , we can say this is 1 of best coffee maker we have ever tried.We loved this coffee maker and the coffee it produces , not to mention how great it was !A full pot of coffee is ready within 7-8 minute.The resulting temperature is hotter than any other good brand coffee maker. It brew your coffee very quickly and quietly .I have tested it at 9 cup capacity as well as 2-4 cup brewing cycle and they all came out great.There are marking on water tank so you can easily check the water level. Look wise it is great and a beauty in your kitchen.It is super easy to set up and control this coffee maker.A single dial allow you to program the desired number of cup and 24 hours start timer. With programmable feature it’s super easy to get freshly brewed coffee ready in the morning or at later time. This is no doubt Beautiful, Certified, Wonderful coffee making machine.I will give it 5 star without any hesitation and will definitely recommend this to every coffee lover.

I love the features of this pot; the time lit up, the water boiling up the center of the water section. Unfortunately, after following the directions and several attempts, my coffee always had a funny taste to it. Hopefully I will figure out how to make the coffee taste better, because the pot is so cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid coffee maker. Looks great and does what it’s supposed to do. The carafe is insulated and there is no heating element under it, so coffee stays hot as long as the insulation allows. Which is pretty long- a full carafe lost about 10degrees an hour, and even after 24hrs, the coffee temperature was 98degrees. Coffee brew temperature was 180 degrees. Minor issues I had: Carafe doesn’t seal shut as other insulated carafes do. You will need both a bottle cleaning brush and straw brush to clean the carafe and silicone internal mixing tube respectively. There is a clicking noise coming from the carafe cap when the coffee is dripping through it. The tops of the water tank and brewing tank won’t stay slightly open to allow the interior to dry between brews. (For me, this is more than just a minor issue)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the Lamborghini of coffee makers. First thing about it, it’s such a modern, sleek, clean looking coffee maker. The entire process from set up, to brew of coffee, to cleaning is just... easy! The quality of every single part of the maker is incredible. Strong, thick plastic on the brew basket, thick rubber tubing, and the stainless steel carafe is just so sharp in not only looks, but also does its job perfectly. The carafe honestly had me amazed at how long it kept my coffee fresh and warm for. I brewed at 6:30am and come 2:30pm it was still luke warm! Another great feature is there is no “hot plate” keeping the coffee warm. It’s just the carafe that’s holds the temp. Incredible really as hot plates tend to always leave a burnt taste after a while. I love being able to set the brew cycle so that when I wake up it’s ready to go. However the first couple of times I did a manual brew just to watch how it works. Both myself and my kids get a thrill out of watching the bubbles in the water reservoir as the coffee brews. It really is such a cool feature and somewhat soothing to just sit there staring at it. (Perhaps I’m just odd, ha!!) This is also the quietest coffee maker I have ever had! I do have to point out a couple flaws. The manual states you can get a cup of coffee during the brewing cycle. However when doing so, it doesn’t stop dripping out of the basket onto the plate! It makes a mess. Not enough for me to knock any stars or anything that would deter me from purchasing again. I just wait until brewing is complete, it only takes a few minutes for a brew anyways! But that is definitely a feature that needs a tweak. Another thing, which is just something that happens after normal use so again not knocking any stars off the rating, is the build up of minerals you can see in the area of the water basin where the bubbles flow up. I always use spring water, but after using this for 3 weeks there is now a large amount of white deposits on that inner tube. And with a clear water basin, it’s very noticeable. I haven’t tried descaling yet but it seems it’s time and hopefully after doing so the cloudiness of that tube does go away. Other than that, I am incredibly pleased to always have piping hot and freshest tasting coffee from this OXO coffee maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this coffee maker about a month ago. I’ve always used a basic cheap coffee pot or a French press if I’m feeling fancy. I thought I made a pretty good pot of coffee. I was wrong. A GOOD coffee maker makes a huge difference. I’m obsessed, can’t wait to make my coffee every morning, and have stopped going out for coffee as much. Set up was super easy and the directions were clear. It’s a tall (I think 15in tall) coffee maker but it fits under my cabinets perfectly. I love the insulated carafe! It keeps the coffee the perfect temperature for a long time. There isn’t a hot plate under the carafe which is awesome and safer. The spout on the carafe is small so it pours out a little slowly. I was confused with that at first but now I’m convinced there is some genius reason behind this because I swear it makes my coffee taste better. I also don’t have spills like I used to with the standard glass carafe. The water heats up on one side and is pumped into the top of the other side where you put your grounds. It does a first round where it dispenses a little water into the grounds to allow them to bloom then pumps the rest of the water in and voila you have coffee. I know it a a little pricey but I don’t think I can EVER go back to a basic coffee maker now. This is absolutely worth the money and I would purchase it again if it ever gives out on me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 9 cup coffee maker is nice and has some exciting features however, it is very pricey for the quality brew you get. It brews consistently but slow and for the most part the coffee taste is perfect. It can also have a bitter taste depending on the brew. The main feature in my opinion, is the stainless steel thermal insulated carafe. It keeps the breed coffee hot for a few hours. The coffee machine is very appealing in design and has a nice neight to it so be sure to measure your countertop space. I also loved the transparent reservoir, the base features a LED display screen and a one button/dial control. The brew basket uses cone paper filters and another great feature that the basket is to the side and not above the pot. Overall, the carafe keeps the coffee hot, it brews pretty fast and the cup of coffee is satisfying. I would recommend to all coffee enthusiasts.

The 9-cup capacity allows me to make more than one serving at a time and the stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee hot without a heating plate that burns the coffee. The dispersion of the water is even and the SCA certification confirms that the water temperature is correct for the best possible brew. This is now my everyday coffee machine and I am satisfied with the coffee quality. The machine itself has an attractive modern design that fits well into the kitchen or dining area. The control is pretty intuitive and easy to set and use. It is programmable to brew at a future time. I love the carafe, it's durable and keeps the coffee hot for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this coffee maker for 3 weeks now and it's grown on me. I tested the machine in 4 stages: 1. First, I hand-washed all the removable parts with water to get rid of any remaining factory residue. I made my first batch of coffee after running the water reservoir at "MAX" as per the instructions. I tasted an unpleasant plastic smell in the coffee.  2. For the next few days, I hand-washed all the removable parts with soapy water including the shower head, brew basket, carafe and the mixing tube, which had a particularly strong plastic smell. I let the mixing tube sit in the soapy water for a few hours. I rinsed them with hot water and air dried them all completely. I still experienced the plastic smell. I continued to wash and air-dry the parts prior to every brew, believing that the unpleasant odor would dissipate with each use. I also decided not to use the mixing tube anymore after its unpleasant odor persisted. 3. At week 3, I noticed the plastic smell has decreased significantly. The unpleasantness sharply decreased after I stopped using the brown coffee filters included with the product and instead started using oxygen cleansed white paper filters. At this point, I am confident to serve a group of people some cups of coffee from OXO 9-Cup Coffee Maker. 4. Comparison: Following the use of the new filter paper and the removal of the mixing tube from the carafe, I made some cups of coffee from OXO 9-Cup Coffee Maker and compared them with coffee brewed from a ceramic dripping brewer. Conditions: same ceramic burr hand grinder, same single origin beans, same water source and water temperature. I put the labels at the bottom of the cups, mixed up the cup positions and then tasted them. I neutralized my palate by sipping the cool water before sipping each of the coffee. Results: * The color of the coffee from OXO was darker then my ceramic dripping brewer. (See photos: I switched places of the cups to make sure the light angles will not affect the shades of the coffee) * The taste (of both) was nice and clean. * I can still distinguish the minor plastic smell that came from OXO Coffee Maker CONCLUSION: Such a unique design! This is the most beautiful coffee maker I’ve seen. I love the single dial with LED backlit screen and the shiny carafe. The plastic smell created from the mixing tube remains the only concern, however it went away after a few weeks, in my case, I stopped using it. I would recommend this product for both convenience sake and its great output.

I have tried my fair share of coffee makers and this is by far the best I have ever owned! I really like the digital dial instead of buttons, you can pick between 2-4cups and 6-9 cups. It has a timer you can set so your coffee is ready before you even open your eyes. I like that it has a timer on it after your coffee finishes brewing to let you know how long it's been done. The coffee comes out hot and tastes way better also. I highly rec this coffee maker if your looking for a new one! I promise you won't be disappointed!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far, the best coffee maker I have ever owned. It is made from High Quality Stainless Steel and perfectly assembled. It brews an Amazing tasting coffee. I tried it with a couple different brands of coffee that I always use, and the taste is so fresh and natural.I really like the stainless steel carafe. I feel it adds to the taste of the coffe and keeps it hot for longer then glass. I love the digital clock and cups to brew on the front being in a nice blue color. It is super simple to pour the water in and place the filter and coffee blend, ( it even comes with a starter pack of filters). If I had to choose anything’s to improve, it would be a longer cord to plug it in, other then that, this is one phenomenal coffee maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this coffee maker for two weeks and love the digital fully programmable wake up timer that’s been very helpful in having the morning coffee ready to go. OXO Brew’s large water reservoir can brew a single mug (2-4) or an entire carafe (5-9). The single dial/OXO button makes it easy to program the coffee machine, set the clock and manage brewing options. I like that this coffee maker comes with detailed instructions, 10 paper No. 4 cone shaped filters and a coffee scoop to get started out on. The double walled thermal stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee hot for several hours and stays cool to the touch. The only issue I found is after hand washing the carafe, the top line space toward the top allows some water to seep into the double wall and noticed this during hand drying that small amounts of water would come out from there when I would flip it over, and I recommend leaving it upside down while drying. The water reservoir does gather a little bit of steam and heat after the removable silicone water bridge transfers the water into the coffee basket so I just left the lid open to cool off for a few minutes before refilling the reservoir. The BetterBrew Precision controls temperature and brew cycles, while the Rainmaker shower head distributes water evenly over the coffee grounds and the internal mixing tube located in the carafe keeps the coffee tasting delicious from the first drop to the last! I would highly recommend this product and am impressed by the excellent taste of my daily coffee from using the OXO Brew 9-Cup Coffee Maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me say I tried so many times in so many ways to reach out to oxo about my coffee pot I gave many many chances to fix the problems and no one ever helped me. When I received my product it wouldn’t work for a week!! Then it finally gave me half a cup a day the rest would leak out of the sides and all down the back of my stove. Then it stopped working again so obviously a girl without her coffee in the morning is a girl not very happy!! So now it only works if I punch it and hold my cup underneath it !! Crazy I know but it will give me my half a cup that way. I would never recommend this to anyone

With a busy on the go lifestyle, I need a quick coffee pot that can brew perfection. This coffee pot brews very quickly, and I love how the system works. Super quick and easy to use and clean. The coffee in the carafe stays hot for hours, meaning I can brew in the morning and have a cup of still hot coffee in the afternoon. Perfect for me. I have a very bad record of breaking carafes, so the stainless steel is perfect for me.

I am a avid coffee and drink and I can truly taste the difference. I like my coffee strong and rich and this machine does exactly that. What I love most is that I'm able to use less coffee grounds with the same amount of water that I would normally use. This will definitely same me money in the long run and I won't have to buy as much coffee. This machine is very easy to use and with a twist and click of a button you can chose how many cups of coffee you would like to make. You are able to make as little as 2 cups and all the way up to 9 cups. This machine is easy to program and you can have your coffee ready for you whenever you wake up. I truly enjoy making my coffee at home on a daily basis. The design is sleek and innovative. I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oxo 9-cup coffee maker is easy to use, looks beautiful and makes a delicious cup of coffee. A few clever features make this much easier to use and better than coffee makers I've had in the past. The single dial lets you easily set the delayed start brew time and choose how many cups to make. The display tells you how much longer until the pot is finished brewing and then how many minutes it's been since the coffee finished brewing to keep track of how fresh it is. When you take out the pot before it's finished brewing, there are only a couple drips on the base (see photo) and the dial turns red to let you know that the cycle has not finished. When you open the top to take out the used coffee filter, the condensation on the bottom of the lid empties into the water tank side, not onto the base (see photo). One thing I don't like is that both lids (for the water tank and the filter) swing *up* to open, so I have to pull it out from under the kitchen cabinet to set up the coffee maker. Overall, it's easy to clean, easy to set up a delayed start and it looks really nice in our kitchen (especially next to our Oxo coffee grinder) and on the breakfast table.

This coffee maker is apart of the of Oxo Batista Brain Collection. The product is very durable and stylish. It has an adjustable freshness LED indicator button. It gives you easy access to coffee brewing settings. It has a clear water reservoir and cup measurements on the outside of the product. The reservoir allows you to see the water bubbling upwards as it is preparing to brew. This action is so exciting to watch. The item comes with a double wall stainless steel carafe and removable mixing straw for even brewing. This product makes a delicious cup of coffee. It is very safe to use and it is not hot when you touch it. The added bonus: It includes a coffee scooper and 10 filters.This product is excellent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using the OXO 9 cup Coffee Maker a few weeks ago and have been nothing but happy with it. I love the sleek design of the maker. It fits nicely On the kitchen counter without being to bulky. I do however have to slide it out from under the cabinet each time to fill the water and filter but that’s something I would need to do with any coffee pot. The coffee tastes great after brewing. The water “showers” over the coffee grounds evenly which helps the coffee keep a great bold taste. It took a minute to figure out how to set the timer on the machine because there is only one dial for all functions but once we did figure it out, it is easy to use now. The only thing I do not love about it is that you have to unscrew the lid on the carafe to pour it. I’m not sure if it’s just a fluke on mine or it’s meant to be designed like that. Aside from that, it’s a great coffee maker!

It has a timer where you can set it to brew at a certain time. The carafe stays cool to the touch. Only down fall is that the unit does not have a keep warm feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy the OXO 9-cup Coffee Maker in my house. Set-up and operation are pretty straightforward. You are able to select a cup size of either 2-4 or 5-9, which determines how long your pot will run, optimized to your selection. You are able to set a timer for the coffee maker to start brewing a pot, and I love this feature. I am able to have my coffee ready by the time I walk into the kitchen, which shaves a couple minutes off my morning routine. The double wall stainless carafe keeps the coffee hot/warm longer than the glass pot on my previous coffee maker. The coffee maker is large and only provides about 2" clearance under a traditional height wall cabinet, and would best fit in an area not restricted by an upper cabinet. Overall, I am very pleased with both the ease of operation and the coffee that is brewed and I highly recommend.

I'm the only coffee drinker in my house, so we had only a single serve coffee maker before. Problem with that is when my family comes over a few times a week, we are making cup after cup. So I was very happy to get this coffee maker! Here are my pros and cons list: Pros: - It's nice, sleek, and modern design looks great on my countertop. - I like the look of the stainless steel pot vs. the typical glass pot. - The bottom of the pot doesn't get too hot, so I can put it right in the middle of my table to serve. - Very easy to use. Just add your filter, coffee grounds, desired amount of water, press two buttons, and it begins. - I love being able to set a time every morning for my coffee to start brewing. - The top of the coffee maker screws off to make cleaning easy. - Coffee tastes great every single time. Cons: - If the lid on the pot isn't tightened all the way, the coffee spills out of different areas when pouring. - I hoped the stainless steel pot would help my coffee to stay warm for a while, but I need to heat it back up after about 20 minutes of it in the pot. - I usually fill the water above the line because the amount that ends up in the pot is less than what I fill it to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is truly a gorgeous appliance to have on your coffee top. I recieved so many compliments on how beautiful it looks. Especially when brewing, the bubbles climbing with the tube of the carafe make this machine look so high tech. Everything is functioned through 1 knob which I did not like at first but I love know that I know how to set the brewer for coffee as well as my morning timer. The tube in coffee carafe is something I do not like because it's hard to clean. The machine brews so silently you almost wonder if it's on. I love the simplicity as well as the elegant features of the machine. The only other thing about the coffee maker is that you should only fill the amount off water in the carafe that you want otherwise it will make the entire amount poured in.

Coffee is hot and tasty every time. It fits under my cabinets, but not while the top is open. All in all, a solid product that brews a good cup of coffee. It won't change your personal relationship with the beverage, but you'll almost certainly be glad you got one.

These thoughtful and smart features make this the best cup of coffee you can get at home, much like a coffee house or pour-over, with the ease of a standard drip pot. If you’re like me, you like a cup of hot coffee in the morning, and you’re willing to sacrifice the unsurpassed control and flavor of time-consuming pour-over for a drip machine that wakes you up with an effortless cup of Joe. You no longer have to compromise between pour-over and ready-made morning coffee (who can do all that math and counting before coffee anyhow?) because Barista Brain has a 24 hour timer and does the math for you. You can have pour-over quality at the touch of a button at 2 a.m. if that’s what time you’re waking up and if so, I’m sorry. This coffee pot replaced my higher-end drip model which had multiple coffee preference settings, and I don’t miss it. I have incredibly short cabinets above my kitchen counter, even the stubbiest blender can’t fit under them. The Barista Brain measures 14 and ¼ inches tall, and didn’t fit where my other coffee pot went, so this is something to consider if you’re afflicted with short cabinet space like me. The coffee is delicious enough that the minor adjustments I made to accommodate the Barista Brain are totally worth the effort. Not only that, as with all OXO products, the attention to detail in design makes it a beautiful display piece in its own right. I don’t think there’s a prettier coffee maker on the market! While aesthetics are all well and good, a good coffee maker must be easy to use, and make great coffee. The Barista Brain checks both of these boxes off, making it my favorite coffee maker I’ve ever owned. I hold a special place in my heart for any machine that I can operate right out of the box, intuitively, without reading instructions. I challenged myself with this, and unboxed the Barista Brain, cleaned it and set to work. After cleaning, I installed the silicone internal mixing tube, which I really appreciate because it eliminates the coffee sludge that happens at the bottom of pots sometimes. I ran some water through the machine to clean it and we were ready to go. There is a single button surrounded by a circular illuminated dial to operate the machine. After filling the brew basket with the included filter (OXO kindly includes a small package of 10) and scoop for ground coffee, I twisted the dial and selected between only two options: 2-4 cups or 5-9. The exact number of cups depends on how much water you put in the pre-marked reservoir. I pressed the dial and the screen showed some droplets which indicates the coffee is brewing! This is the quietest machine I’ve ever known. You don’t hear really anything other than a few glugs of water now and then. The coffee is dripped into a double-wall carafe so it stays hot and doesn’t burn like hot plates do. I still didn’t need to consult the manual, but I looked through it as I waited for my brew. I learned how to set the clock and the 24 hour timer, which is just as simple as operating the machine was. Finally, my coffee is done! I took it black for the first taste, even though I usually have cream and flavored syrup. WOW! The coffee is the best I’ve ever had. I get good quality beans and use a burr grinder, but I don’t have a scale yet (I have my eye on the OXO burr grinder with integrated scale!) and this coffee is as good as it gets. It’s strong and flavorful but not at all bitter. Not burned tasting, just really, really good. I’ve been using Barista Brain every morning for about two weeks and I’m just in love. I even had to use a regular coffee maker one day while traveling... ugh. The coffee just wasn’t the same. I’m officially a coffee snob now. This machine is great, like all OXO products, and I just can’t say enough good things about it. It’s beautiful, it’s smart, it does the job well and it makes my life better. My only wish is that it were a tiny bit shorter, but I won’t knock down for that because it’s my house’s flaw not the coffee maker’s. The other wish is that there was a drip stop mechanism so that when the carafe is removed, coffee residue doesn’t continue to drip. I don’t think most coffee makers have this, just my last one. So again, I wouldn’t detract from the five star rating for that. Another thing I saw in reading reviews was that people didn't like the condensation on the water chamber. All you need to do is leave the lid open and it will dry clear. Condensation happens on every coffee pot chamber but most of them are opaque. The Barista Brain is the perfect coffee pot for anyone who loves quality, delicious coffee, beautiful machinery that utilizes smart design, and might be too busy for the hassle of pour- over. Honestly, the Barista Brain makes pour-over unnecessary as anything more than a ceremony. Get this coffee maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to try this coffee maker, but was soon disappointed. Right off the bat, two items were missing from the box. One was the coffee scoop and the second item was the removable silicone internal mixing tube. I went ahead and used the maker while the items were being shipped to me and was pleased with the flavor and temperature of the coffee but did find the Dial/OXO button confusing. Once I mastered the dial, I then had to instruct all the other coffee drinkers of the family how to use it and we still have to keep the instructions close just in case. One of the bigger complaints I have with the maker is the way the brew basket drips hot coffee no matter how long you wait to remove the carafe after the coffee has brewed. This creates a huge mess all over the wall and counter since the coffee splashed off the base of the coffee maker. I am not sure I am 100% sold on this coffee maker. It doesn’t seem to have some the other features other comparable makers have. I would love to be able to fill the water reservoir and only brew half the pot.

This coffee maker makes a full 9 cup pot of coffee in 8 minutes so if your always busy and on the go this would be a great coffee maker to have. We love the Double-wall stainless steel thermal carafe the carafe keep the coffee hot for hours. We tested how long the water would stay hot and it made it 24 hours before starting to cool off. We use our Coffee maker everyday and love it. This is gonna be my go to coffee maker from now on we even bought one for my mother for Christmas.

After reading the instructions it was very easy to use. The first few pots had a little bit of an aftertaste but it’s gone after a few days. The carafe keeps extra coffee warm for about an hour before it starts to cool. I do feel like I need to leave the lids open for the water to evaporate. Parts are easy to remove and clean. This machine is pretty tall. It stores under our cabinets but have to pull it out to access the water and ground basket.
