This was the third of these doorstops that I put in. They hold the door open, including our garage door which has self closing hinges, yet are easy to pull off the stop. The only issue is that when you push the door against the stop you need to hold it there or it might bounce of and close. A very minor learning curve.

. Anchors are worthless. back to the store for anchors to fix the mess. Looked good on paper but.....

Would be much better, if the magnets were stronger.

looks nice and was easy to install. Had to uninstall from intended location because the magnets were not quite strong enough to hold a solid wood door. Also, opening the door into the stop very quickly rendered the drywall anchor system worthless. Would recommend for lighter doors and install into wall stud if possible.

I really liked the magnet part. It is used as a door stopper and as door holder… keeping the door open

Don't make 'em like they used too. Really angry at the bad quality of these "Onward" magnetic doorstops. We bought magnetic doorstops from Home Depot a little over 10 years ago, and liked them a lot. So, we bought 8 of these for our new home. Weak magnets, flimsy door stopper/spring assembly that easily loses the threading that keeps it affixed to the door. I doubt these will keep a door open in the wind, or even remain intact after normal use. We'll try to find good ones somewhere.

I put these in our house a few years ago now and have them on every door. When you open the front door holding groceries and want to keep it open, or the back door on the porch, or the bedroom closet door that you want to keep open, these are the ticket. Definitely get a few of them, you won't regret it.

The magnet is not strong enough to hold the door more securely when pushed to hold open.

Works great, but directions on how to install would have been even better. The magnet side was hard to figure out how to disassemble to get to the screw to install. I looked it up on YouTube and once I knew the trick it was all good.

Has to be lined up perfectly to get magnet to work at all, and it's too weak to hold. Useless.

My wife loves this door stop. Previous one snapped together and was difficult to engage. This stop is quiet and effective. Good color selection.

The magnet is not always strong enough to hold a door to the garage / fire door with extra weight. Should work fine with an inside door. Can be tricky to position it just right

It isn’t anything fancy and but it works fine. Keeps the door from hitting the wall and holds the door open when needed.

Color didn't go well, so switched to brushed nickle

Pretty easy to install after watching the video and keeps my door in place when open. (The door had a tendency to swing out a bit) Also protects my newly papered wall. All in all I’m very pleased.
