I bought 30 bags and had them delivered. Every bag was full of mold!!! Some worse then others. After reading all the reviews, I thought I would give it a try. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I truly like this potting soil mix. It is airy, fluffy and soft. It contains the PW slow release fertilizer, which is great. I bought 4 large bags from Home Depot, it was the cheapest place to buy online.

Based on positive past experiences purchasing plants from Proven Winners, and the number of positive reviews regarding this potting mix, I purchased two bags of Proven Winners Premium potting soil. Upon opening the bag I was hit with a strong smell of mold. The wood products in the soil all had a white slimy coating. I went ahead and repotted three of my house plants and three weeks later I am dealing with a full blown fungus gnat infestation. My girlfriend used the second bag in another location on her plants and experienced the same results. I should have known better and immediately returned the soil but took a chance given Proven Winners reputation for quality. Maybe these bags were hanging around too long in a warehouse from last season. The plants were never healthy after repotting and with the fungus gnats are now a complete loss. Still searching for a good indoor potting mix.

Purchased this to repot my Bougainvillea plants. They were heavily trimmed back after a couple of frosts. They are coming back beautifully now that the weather is warming.
