Splits if you look at it, and most certainly in the face of a screw. I used it as decorative trim this time for another application, not as a closure strip. I fastened it with a pin nailer and it was fine for that. I used it as a closure strip once before, but to prevent all the splitting I had to predrill a hole in every single place a screw was going thorough it to fasten down the polycarbonate sheets.

They are to narrow. You have to pre drill them so they don’t crack. Other then that they are great. Then need to be 1.5 times as wider then they are.

Said it was in stock, but it was not. Took a week and a half to get there.. Product is as described, I but had a tough time estimating how many I would need and under counted by quite a bit. 5 pack is supposed to be per sheet of 8ft roofing. Would have been good to know from the description.

Would have preferred plain or unstained. Functionally do what they are supposed to do just needed to paint them white. Stained doesn’t make that easier.

Overall the product fulfills it’s need but they split easy but if you use right screws fasteners keep roof tight to rails with no leaks.
