A little harder to install than expected due to the receiver box you have to put in the ceiling, but it looks and works great. Quieter than I expected.

It was not the easiest to install and the instructions are very subpar, but the fan is very pretty and really cool with the retractable blades.

I did not install this fan, but the electrician who did (maybe 3 weeks ago) had no issues. It's placed directly above my desk on the second floor landing; very quiet and puts out a nice amount of air for this small 56 sq. ft. space. I was concerned about the blades expanding and collapsing when turned on and off, but so far there's been no trouble. I did buy this because of other online recommendations for the brand, so am hopeful it lives up to expectations in the long term. Comes with 3 speed remote; lightbulbs NOT included (4 x 40 watt, must be small to fit through the cage).

Easy to follow instructions. Looks and works great. Only complaint or wish would be to have the lights be dimmable. But happy customers here all the same.

Firstly-terrible installation directions and not as easy to install as other brands. Secondly-the motor makes a loud noise, too loud to sleep with the fan on (never had this noise with Hunter fans), we actually bought 4 Parrot Uncle fans-both of the ones installed make noise, returning the other two. Thirdly-cant reverse blades with seasons. We liked the style just poor quality motor.

The light is perfect in my kitchen. I love that the blades fold in when the fan is not in use. Plus, it’s fun to watch the fan open up and shut down. The fan also gives plenty of air flow in the kitchen.

I installed it without the remote control. I wired it directly to the house and use the wall switch for the fan and light, works perfect. I can control fan speeds and even dim the lights from the wall switches. It's a great looking light that hides the fan really well. The fan blades are small so they don't move a lot of air, but for a small room I feel it is a fine compromise when I want looks over function in the room I added it to.

Great ceiling fan. It's nice as a kind of chandelier with an industrial/steampunk vibe. Watching the fan blades unfold when fan is on always gets a great reaction. Light bulbs do not come with fan.

CON: Instructions are pathetic. Poorly engineered to encapsulate the wiring and remote control receiver under the housing. You just cram and risk dislodging a wire. The receiver should've had a positive location to the mounting bracket. They recommend having the antenna wire exposed from the top housing but don't provide a notch to do so if you need this for longer range the housing won't fit flush to the ceiling. PRO: VERY QUIET

Fans are horrible quality. Purchased 2 and they came with different instructions, different remotes, different receivers. Both sets of instructions refer to on/off switches and show chain operated switches for light and fan that do not exist. Contacted manufacturer for customer service and had to leave a voice-mail. Shortly thereafter I received a text telling me customer service had been sent an email on my behalf and they would be in touch as they were in Asia. Over the next few days I emailed back and forth with "customer service " who was no help whatsoever. After spending more then i spent on the fans in on handyman and electricians, I returned both fans. Horrible experience!!!

The fan is nice but the remote control is awful….changed batteries etc…it works when it wants to work…disappointed

The fan is beautiful and looks great in our family room. Easily installed by my husband, runs so quietly you don’t know it is on, and the remote means nobody gets hit in the head by dangling chains in the middle of the room!

We love this fan! As a light fixture, it is very unique and bright, lighting up our entire dining room. And then when we turn it into a fan it is amazing. The fan works great and keeps the dining room nice and cool, plus it is very quiet. It is definitely a conversation starter; everyone who has visited it since it was installed can’t believe how cool it is. Bottom line, it looks great and works great.

The fan was perfect in a bonus room above the garage.

They look great & love the concept. The one star off is because when the fan is not full speed the blades don't fully deploy & are a tad loud. Otherwise though a very good product.

Fan works great, remote sucks. We bought the fan a year ago and are happy with the look and performance of the fan, but the remote quit working. New batteries did nothing and a new remote from the manufacturer lists for half as much as the whole fan!!! There is no way to control the fan or the lights (other than total off/on from the wall switch) without the remote. No remote renders the fan useless and for this reason I can't recommend this product, which is a shame, because it looks great.

Installation was easy. It looks fabulous when the fan is running. Love how the blades retract.

I replaced the old style gold tone/crystal lamp that was there when we bought the house. This fan/light combo provides the right feel for my office, and after I put it together it took about 10 minutes to get it hung/secured properly to the ceiling supports. Absolutely love it,

I would have given it a 5 star if the shroud that covers the mounting at the ceiling was designed better as well as the safety wire attachment. The remote is a little odd to use at first with two light buttons that do the same function and to get the fan blades to power on at first. Otherwise, this fan works great, looks awesome and love the automatic retracting blades!
