There is a slight learning curve to installing, where to hit to lock seams, where to place spacers to keep seams from popping loose etc. With the right tools and patience, once the first few rows are established its a breeze to install. The floor looks amazing and my wife and I both love the look.

As a contractor, I have installed many floating floors. And with that, I have recommended PERGO to my customers. But last June 24th I purchased enough flooring to do a kitchen floor and when I went to check it out today (January 21, 2021) I see that the floor has buckled and is ruined by water. The included pictures are of the area in front of the kitchen sink. This is ridiculous! The flooring has raised and curled. It is soft to the touch and the underside has swollen like a sponge.

This was more difficult to install than the smaller width Pergo planks I have done in the past but well worth the extra effort. Looks great and I just like the look!!

I love the way this flooring looks. I have two dogs, one being over 100 lbs and no scratches as of yet. Also, any spills are easy to wipe up. However, this flooring has been the biggest nightmare of my life to install. It's difficult to interlock and chips easily. I had 3 other people helping with the install and we were all ready to kill each other after the first hour or so and we had installed hardwood before so we weren't even newbies to installing. My biggest recommendation if your heart is set on this flooring is to pay the professional to do it for you. I ended up doing that for my biggest room and one guy was able to do it in two days, when a room half the size took myself and 3 others the same amount of time to do, and that was after having done two other rooms already (our first room took a week to do). I HATE installing this flooring. Save yourself the headache and either don't buy this or hire someone else to put it in. Flooring should not be this difficult to install. I love reading reviews before I purchase something so hopefully this helps deter you if you're thinking this will be a quick and easy in and out project. Not easy, definitely not for beginners! You've been warned! On a side note, depending on the rooms wall colors the flooring looks somewhat different. The living room has a slate colored accent wall and white walls and it looks more brown and white whereas the bedrooms have a light gray wall and the flooring looks more gray and white.

First off, I absolutely love these floors! They brighten up my house and I like the knotting and natural look. In bright, natural light it looks grey but in artificial light it looks brown. Beautiful either way. The problem is that Home Depot no longer sells matching quarter rounds. In May 2020 I laid about 700 square feet of flooring in my bedroom and spare room. The quarter round product available at this time was the Pergo Sand Dune/Graceland Oak Quarter Rounds. The print isn’t an exact match but the color matches so it worked. In September 2020 I purchased another 900 square feet of flooring to finish my hallway, living room, kitchen and dining room. At this time they had a new product available, Zamma Graceland Oak Quarter Rounds. The picture looks exactly like the flooring so I purchased it. When I took it out of the box I discovered that the print and color look nothing like the picture and do not match the flooring at all. Now the original product, the Pergo Sand Dune/Graceland Oak Quarter Rounds, is no longer available on their website. I called customer service and they cannot locate the product either. I tried the Pergo Soft Oak/Glazed Oak Quarter Rounds and the print matches but the color is too light. At this point, my only solution is to paint quarter rounds black to match my baseboards. To make sure the entire first floor of my house matches, I will have to paint quarter rounds to cover the edges of nearly 1,600 square feet of flooring. What a hassle. Great quality! Arrived quick. A bit hard to lay but looks great!

The Graceland Oak floor is beyond beautiful! We had it installed three weeks ago, so I can’t speak to its longevity, but its beauty has far exceeded my expectations. The colors are very natural and somehow have both warm and cool tones, making it friendly for any wall color. It’s also light and bright, which makes my small space feel bigger. To me, it looks like European White Oak. Our kids say our house looks like something out of a magazine, and I think so too! Our last laminate floor was about the same price, but not nearly as nice. I haven’t been able to easily see any repeat patterns, surely partly because we had a good installer (Home Depot). The seams appear to be pretty solid and the joins are much tighter than any other laminate flooring I’ve seen. The floor also feels nice to walk on. We have two teen boys, two cats and a very large dog who play, run, and otherwise attempt to scratch it- so far, so good. We did try to scratch the sample and weren’t easily able to, except with a knife and decent pressure. The only negative thing I can say is that our dog clicks as he walks. Even though this floor comes with attached underlayment, I really wish that they had tried to upsell us for additional underlayment because I think it needs it. There were a few glitches with Home Depot, but they fixed them right away and gave us a little money off for our trouble. The people in our local store have great customer service! Now we’re thinking about installing these floors upstairs.

The planks don’t lock together easily, it doesn’t like to lay flat, and the seams are already coming apart in the powder room that has been down for about three days. But the worst part is how easily this stuff chips. It was a chore in and of itself just to find useable pieces from the pallet we ordered. We will be ripping it all back up and returning it. Definitely not worth the price.

Love the look!

A year ago, our family got the salted oak to replace carpet in our living room. The salted oak masks dirt and dust very well, which honestly, is great for me because I barely have time to sweep or vacuum the floor everyday. The flooring has also been extremely durable through dog training incidents as well as 3 rambunctious toddlers. Given how well it has performed to date, we plan on getting all the other rooms in our house replaced with this flooring.

We liked Pergo well enough when we installed it in our first house, but during installation (of Pergo Outlast Sand Dune Oak), we found that the edges chipped very easily. You still need to be careful with the planks of this product, but it felt much sturdier and I didn’t have repairs I had to do when all was said and done. Lovely.

Purchased Pergo in our main home about 20 years ago but then made the mistake on installing another brand in our weekend home about 10 years ago. Didn't last 2 years without dulling, chipping and generally hard to keep clean. Now that we're full time, won't make that mistake again. Everyone who enters stops and comments on the floor. It's beautiful. Also, easy to keep clean and no streaks. The last Pergo lasted 19 years and counting when we sold our main home. I have no doubt we will get at least as many years.

We went with Soft Oak Glazed Pergo flooring for the in-law cottage and we are so happy we did. The light flooring definitely helped with opening up the space. No underlayment was used and was not needed. Easy to clean, scratch resistant, and overall seems like a great investment. Fyi, The paint on the wall is Balboa Mist which in my opinion paired perfectly with the floor.

I've installed laminate in several different houses and this Pergo flooring has definitely been the best quality. I think I counted more than 9 varieties in the plank designs so there was a low chance two identical pieces would be laid close together. the edges and sides were perfectly straight on each plank. Very little effort was needed to get the planks together. Great product!

The installation was difficult getting started. But once you get going and learn the technique, Outlast+ installs well and looks excellent. Outlast+ was perfect for our farmhouse. We ordered a palette, one more large room to go.

Easy to install and it looks beautiful!

It was exactly what I needed... living in a townhouse in between other townhouses... my natural lighting was minimal at best... So I wanted to replace the carpet with a light but sturdy plank flooring... Its perfect... makes the livingroom look brighter and larger!... it's the waterproof flooring and I've only had it for a couple weeks so anxious to see if it holds up under the grandkids... Hubby says he dulled his dwalt blades cutting it so thats a good start!

Love this in my home!!

I have installed tile, carpet, vinyl, and hardwood. This was, by far, the most difficult flooring I have ever installed. Also, if you “slightly” bump it as you carry it in to install, your getting another piece. This stuff is as brittle as crystal. It also reminds me of plastic. Looks nice, but what a pain. Wish I had gone with hardwood.

I absolutely loved this flooring even from just the sample. We purchased it for our skoolie tiny house build and im in love so far. Its more grey toned in person (which is what we were hoping for!). Easy to install, shipped great and beautiful finish.

Easy installation. Easy clean. Doesn’t get any better than this!

Was more difficult to lock in than other pergo I have seen. Should be good to stand the test of time but it was difficult to lock in. Had to really be hit hard

Needed to replace horrible carpet and went with the lighter Southport Oak. Came out beautiful and has weathered two kids and dog. No issues so far!

We got it for our betdoom and master bath. Its look really great installed. Hopefully it proves to be as waterproof and dog proof as advertised.

The look is beautiful. I cannot review the wear and tear of it until I start using it. I am very happy the way it looks...

Looks amazing, feels good and sturdy. I also really loved that it came with padding so I didn't have to spend extra on that.It was installed in a master bedroom but still a huge plus that is water resistant.

Good quality product and goes together well. Durable and strong. Very resistant to moisture and water does not seem to affect it. Finished surface can chip when using tools in difficult installation situations but with practice, this can be minimized. Easy to disassemble completed floor if needed for repairs. Colors are very consistent even between manufacturing lots.

It's beautiful and sturdy. I have 3 dogs and they don't scratch it and it's easy to clean
