Great way to expand your hue setup and automate your home
These white hue bulbs are such a great way to automate any smart home and I can’t recommend them strongly enough. The entire Hue system has worked perfectly for years and these bulbs let us expand it to further automate both inside and outdoors. Our lights are set to fade in and out at sunrise and sunset and while unnecessary it is nice to wake up or come home to a house that’s lit exactly the way we want

Highest Quality!
High quality light bulbs with high quality performance. These are the best light bulbs possible for for a smart home setup. The app works seamlessly to control the on/off and the dimmability. These bulbs are designed more for ceiling applications and down lighting but can still work in lamps and in lower lighting. Great light output and brightness.

Easiest Smartbulbs on the Market
Philips Hue lights may cost a little more, but they're worth it. Hue lights just work. There's no hassle on any network. For iOS, I just install the Hue App and tap the Add Light button. You can manually add the serial number, but if the bulb is powered up, the search feature will find it in about 10 seconds. If you're adding multiple bulbs to several rooms, I find it easiest to sit down next to a convenient lamp and add them all from that lamp one at a time and then move them to the location you specified by the name you gave the bulb. The description for these bulbs (White and Color Ambiance) is likely wrong. These are the basic dimmable white bulbs. They fit in any medium base socket. At full brightness you get 800 lumens of warm (2700K) white light. You can control these bulbs directly over bluetooth, but I prefer connecting with my bridge so I can control them when I'm away from my home. When connected to the Hue bridge you also get the advantage of the ZigBee mesh network. Each bulb extends the range of the mesh, which allows you to connect even more lights including outdoor flood lights and pathway lights.

Philips = Excellence
I am always impressed by Philips light bulbs. These smart bulbs are awesome! They are an interesting shape with a flat top so are perfect for old can-light fixtures that use removable bulbs, and look modern peeking out of the bottom of pendants too. Download the Philips Hue app and you can fully control dimming from 1 to 100 percent using a fun slide bar. You can also set schedules for on/off and scenes like fade on and exactly what brightness you want to hold. You can select last used, default (100%), or a specific brightness. The app is easy to use and you can even make the light flicker like a candle at any brightness level! SO COOL! You can even control multiple bulbs within one room together or separately. The basic Bluetooth connection is limited to managing bulbs within Bluetooth range/one room at a time, but you can manage and save schemes on all bulbs in the house in the app. For multiple bulbs in a room, there is an 'all bulbs' dimmer that allows you to dim them all exactly the same together. Or you can dim each bulb separately either by selecting its icon and using the dimmer slider or simply slow-tap a bulb's icon and then slide right there to dim it! These bulbs did not come with paper instructions. You must go to the hue website to learn everything the app can do. You can add your smart speakers to the app to be able to voice control the bulbs, however this has been iffy for me, working on one bulb but not another in the same room. Might be a learning curve there ;) If you wish to control multiple rooms at once and from away, then you can get the optional bridge which is a hardware hub that you connect to your router. The light color is 2700k and not changeable. I'm happy with that because 2700k is the ideal color to be used in a home, other than perhaps 3000k for task lighting. Love these bulbs! The candle flicker is my favorite feature followed by the option to simultaneously dim all lights in one room!

Hue + Apple HomeKit = Awesomeness
We just started to use Philips Hue in our home because of the integration with Apple Homekit. We’ve been an apple home for years and paired with the Hue bridge you can operate Hue products with siri and the apple home app. This is fantastic. When our soffit bulbs kicked the bucket I picked up some of the hue 60-watt A19 bulbs in white. They came in a 4 pack which is great because I needed 8 total. I am happy with the light output and the performance of Hue thus far.

These are excellent bulbs from Philips Hue
If you enjoy Philips Hue products (and I love them!) this is a terrific addition for rooms that needs a soft white bulb that you can control on/off and brightness from the Hue app, Google, Alexa, Siri, etc. My observations: • This is a 4 pack of Philips Hue White bulbs. To be clear, these bulbs do not have color and ambiance. These are white/soft white that will allow dimming, on/off, and all the other benefits of voice and app control. You can also set routines and countless other fun options. • I use the Hue ‘Smart Bridge’ to control my Hue lights in my home, however because these are Bluetooth you can control up to 10 lights without a ‘Bridge’ which is nice if that fits your needs. The flexibility is a great benefit. I still recommend getting the Philips Hue ‘Bridge’ eventually because that opens an entire world of enjoyment of your Hue lights and products. • The Hue app also has a candle option to make these bulbs react like candlelight. Very cool! • 800 lumens like your standard 60W equivalent bulb. This is perfect for most situations. • These are LED and stay cool to the touch. • They are very energy efficient only use 9.5 watts. I have a house with many Hue products, and I absolutely LOVE them. Most of my bulbs are color and ambiance, however not every room needs full color and ambiance. That is when these White Hue bulbs are perfect. You get the full control and fun of Philips Hue bulbs with a lower price and a more traditional bulb. I recommend. Great product.

Easy to install and use.
This bulb was a great addition to a spot that always gets left on at the top of the stairs. It was easy to install. The app instantly recognized the bulb. I was able to add it to Alex and use voice commands. The color changing feature is almost too much fun for my boys. I love having my lights on a schedule and being able to control them from anywhere.

Nice lights. Pretty easy to install.
These lights are nice. I put them in the kitchen. I could find no instructions on how to setup. I do have the Quick Start Guide which pretty much tells you to go to a website to see instructions. The actual instructions listed on the tiny paper isn't helpful at all. Not for technically challenged people who have no clue what a QR code is. Since we had prior experience with this type of bulb we didn't need instructions. These made a nice addition to the kitchen. Ours is setup with Alexa. Wide range of brightness. I like a bright kitchen. My hubby does not so it's nice to not have to get off the couch to turn off a super bright light glaring on the TV or leaving it at a low level for the kids to see when they go into the kitchen. And makes a great nightlight without having to use tiny plug in lights that are never bright enough. I may get some for my outside lights since we have 3 that come on at the same time so if one of the kids leaves the porch light on it burns 3 bulbs all day. We can set it to schedule when the bulbs come on so even if they leave the switch on, the bulbs can be turned off when we want.

Simply Amazing
I have always done everything within my ability to take advantage of the ever growing smart home technology. This Philip Hue soft white bulb is the latest and at the price point, it is very great. It took nothing to link it to the app. Just screwed the bulb in and opened the app and connected it directly to app through Bluetooth technology. It has been flawless and being able to remotely control these bulbs makes it a must have any tech savvy person out there. It can be connected to the hue hub for more features like offsite control through your mobile app. I am really happy with these bulbs and highly recommend them.

Great smart light
I have been adding devices to my Alexa controls and so far I've settled on smart switches. This is my first smart bulbs. The softwhite light is great. Low power consumption and gentle but full lighting for the lamps. 800 Lumen aka 60 watts - a good light for close in reading or general room lighting. The Alexa control via Bluetooth was easy to set up. I screwed in a bulb and turned on the light. Opened the Alexa app on my phone and had it discover new devices. A minute later I had full control.

Love my Phillips Hue Products!
We love our Philips hue system, controlled in our case with our Alexa. Phillips is also compatiable with Google - Hey Google. The light from these bulbs is just perfect for most areas in the home. The are 800 lumens, about 60 watts of light power. With a standard base they will fit lamps, ceiling lights and even some fan lights. As an LED, they will provide hours and hours of light. We also appreciate that these lights are dimmable - so you can set for low light or even as a night light. Try them, I think you will like their features!

Great Light Bulbs
Continuing to replace my few remaining conventional light bulbs, I decided to get these LED bulbs that can be controlled by my smart phone through the internet. The bulbs provide a nice white light for a fraction of the energy that a conventional bulb uses. Sized to fit any conventional socket, they work anywhere. Easy to set up and use the smart phone for control, on and off, dimming, timed use during the day or night. Lots of flexibility.

Excellent quality
The Philips Hue product line has improved over the years, their software especially is now mature and just works as it should. These light bulbs can be operated using either BlueTooth or via their hub. There are two different apps for BlueTooth or hub control. Whichever method you elect to use, the installation is simple. For Bluetooth you simply write down the serial number on the bulb and screw it into a socket. Add the light in the app and follow the steps. For hub users, we simply let it search for new bulbs and then once found, name them and drag them into an existing, or new, room. The software has nice features, such as when configuring a specific light, it blink that light giving you the feedback that you are picking the right one. I installed them in my study, naming them ‘desk’ and ‘laser’ (as it is next to the printer) and I was able to tell the Google assistant to turn them on and off by name right away. The package is secure and even the tiny instruction leaflets come in their own color printed box within the pack of 2 lights. You get two bulbs each capable of producing 800 lumens (2700 Kelvin) and consuming 9.5 Watts. They are expected to last 25000 hours (which is almost 3 years if left on 24x7). Rather comically the phone number to call for help has been printed backwards on the box “0050-555-800-1” should be 1-800-555-0050, no doubt that will get corrected on the next print run. Made in China, bulb assembled in Mexico

Best smart bulbs out there.
If you want top tier smart light bulbs that work in basically every smart home and on every major platform this is your answer and best option. I’ll quickly admit I’m a huge fan of Hue products. I have a home with plenty of them and each day I use them (several years) they still put a smile on my face. My observations of this bulb: • Set up is as simple as it gets. The app makes almost mistake proof on the set up. I have a Hue bridge (bought separately) and I use Apple HomeKit as my smart home platform so I can speak to that. I have many Hue products, so the bridge was important to me to get the most out of my set up. That said, you can buy up to 10 of these Bluetooth lights without the need for the bridge. It’s a great way to get started with several bulbs. I can assure you that you will get hooked fast and you will quickly want the Hue bridge. • This bulb has 1100 lumens and it’s bright. It’s a noticeable difference compared to my Hue bulbs that output 800 lumens. The dimming control is flawless and smooth. • The colors are accurate and vivid. I took pics of several colors. • Moving through the colors is easy with your voice, Philips hue app, Apple Home app, etc. In my setup I have no lag and colors adjusted almost instantly. • No noise or hum from the bulb, which is excellent. • Bulbs do not get hot, which means they won’t add unwanted heat to your room. • They are great in your existing lamps, bedroom lights, living room, office, etc. The options are endless so have fun with that. • Being able to get the right color for your mood or time of the day is outstanding and enjoyable. You can create routines and scenes. The scenes are game changers and a must to really get next level impact. • I’ve had Hue lights since the first generation and I still have not a bulb burn out. They sure seem to be made to last. This light and the Hue family is a strong choice. Once you see them in person and discover how easily they fit into your daily life, you are sold. This 1100 lumen Hue color and white ambiance light is about as perfect as it gets. I recommend.

Amazing LED!
I picked up this Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance Dimmable LED Smart Light Bulb to add a dimmer light in the hall near my kids bedrooms. It installs like any other light bulb. To control the lights features you need to download the Phillips Hue BT app. Once the app is downloaded it connected to the light quickly with no effort. Literally took less than 15 seconds for the app to link to the bulb. The color varieties are endless, and dimmer feature is exactly what I wanted. I can’t wait to pick up more for around the house!

Amazing Bulb, but requires a Bridge/Hub
Phillips Hue Bulbs are un-matched when it comes to color selection, range and accuracy of color selection. The bulb puts out a significant amount of light and its output can be controlled to any output amount from 0 to 100%. I have a few other Hue light bulbs in the house (bought the starter kit last year) and for some reason this bulb takes about a half second longer to turn on than the other bulbs, for this reason I moved it out of a 3 light fixture and into a single light fixture as it looked strange every time the lights got turned on in the room with the delay. I updated the light through the bridge and was still having the same issue, so not entirely sure as to why there was a delay. Though if you put the light by itself in a single bulb light fixture it would be completely unnoticeable. I love what the Phillips hue system can do, with the various scenes to create what ever color combination you would like or playing around with the Hue Labs which allows you to make the lights flicker/change color as if someone was watching tv (great for making people think you are home) to having the lights flicker like a candle or re-creating a thunderstorm. But its biggest downfall is that the lights require the Bridge to work, without it the lights essentially just are glorified light bulbs. Given that there are plenty of bulbs out there that work without a hub/bridge, I’d recommend this only if you have other Hue products that you would like to sync together.

Extremely fast setup
I have the Hue hub so I opted to use that rather than Bluetooth control (which has a limited range from my phone). Installation went very well and was easy to perform. I simply screwed the lightbulb into a socket, switched it on and I added the light in the Hue app. It found the new light and let me name it. It then suggested I drag it into one of my existing ‘rooms’ set up in the app, which I did. It all just worked. In addition to using the Hue Hub, one can control this light with Bluetooth or with their small portable wireless remote. The instructions provide a nice pictorial overview of setting it up with either of the three systems. I can switch the light on or off or set any color (or white) using voice control through the Google assistants or from the Hue app. It is nice and bright (1100 lumens using 10.5W which is equivalent to 75 Watts!) The whole Hue light system is highly recommended! Made in China Three year limited warranty

Excellent Performance
The Philips Hue white and color ambiance A19 light bulbs out perform all my other colored smart lights. In my experience, the color of the Hue lights is richer and much brighter. The Hue bulbs do require a hub to operate, but the upside of that is they respond quicker and don’t require a dedicated wifi channel. Trust me, the number of wifi channels a smart home uses will get out of control quickly and I have had to remove devices because of my router limitations. These bulbs are more expensive, but in my opinion, worth it.

Great features!
Great lightbulb. Instructions are a little confusing but once done this bulb has so many great features. You are able to control it using your phone via the app (no hub needed, a huge plus). You can choose a bright cool white or a softer amber white. You can control the dimness/brightness to your preference. You can change the colors (100s of color possibilities). You can set a schedule so the light turns on and off at set times, create "moods" for different situations and turn that on with a touch. You can also connect this to your Google assistant or Alexa and control the light (all the features) with your voice. LOVE this light. Functional yet fun. Highly recommended.

Best Smart Bulbs Around
Nearly all the bulbs in my house are equipped with the Philips Hue system, and they’ve always worked flawlessly. I have a mix of light strips and various bulbs, but I’m always happy to add another color bulb to the setup. These seem to be updated bulbs that have a few hundred more lumens and also include the option to be controlled with Bluetooth. I have a Philips Hue hub already, so that is how I’m using it which is better as you get more control over it. The colors are vibrant and bright and when you pair this with a nice lamp, it really adds a beautiful look to any room. The app allows you lots of control with different scenes and color schemes, so you can get this setup to just about any color you desire. It also works with Alexa so these bulbs can also be control by voice or routines. I’m very happy with these and will definitely be adding more to my home.

Hue rules
I have a number of hue light strips and lightbulbs. They are very easy to work with and I love that you can group them into a room and have different scenes that are easily accessible. I love the sunset, tropical, and many other scenes. The photos below capture just a few of the colors that you can make the bulb. It is very difficult to capture what they really look like in a photograph. You got a bunch of these working together in different parts of the room and it is really very enjoyable. I am glad I added this bulb into my collection.

Awesome wireless control lighting system!!
I own several Phillips Hue strip lights and recently also added this A19 light bulb on a lamp I have in a recording studio. All my lights connect to my Phillips Hue bridge and allows me to control all my lights individually with any color I want. Being able to control the lighting allows me to create the right mood in the studio

You need to download the right app, at first I thought I needed a separate piece but I didnt. If your bulb has the Bluetooth symbol you’re good to go. This was an amazing purchase, I’m obsessed with it and now I want them all over my house. You can make your room literally any color you want. You won’t regret getting one!!!

The Philips Hue lights are fantastic. I have been spending the last month replacing and adding HUE lights to my home office to provide a comfortable environment while working from the home office. They easily connect to the existing hue infrastructure (hub and the Philips Hue smartphone app), which speeds the setup of the light and adding the light to the existing routines I have configured.

Love the Philips Hue bulbs. I have them throughout the house. One consideration that I would suggest is to match your lighting. What I mean is either pay the extra money to have all Hue bulbs that use the Hue bridge, or buy all Wiz lights.
