Out with the old, in with the great looking black Pleasant Hearth.
Looks so much better than my old school brass. Should have done this sooner. The black looks so good and fairly easy to install.

Purchased doors during a den gut/renovation for a fireplace that would be used sparingly so a custom set was not warrented and I was pleasantly surprised with Pleasant Hearth doors they are good value for stock doors and fit well. Doors are steel a big plus, screen and bi-fold doors close nicely and the fold back for the bifold doors is a plus. Packaging was excellent, installation was quick and easy

I am glad I ordered extra insulation. In the colder states, what is provided is not enough. Also, there is a small gap at the top and on the sides ー the insulation fills it in without it being noticeable.
