I just took this out of the box moments ago. About 30 seconds after turning it on I heard a rattling in the head (not good). Also, the rubber hose running from the pump to the tank gets EXTREMELY hot which in-turn heats up the tank around the tank coupling. Unfortunately, it will not last so, it has to go back.

Got one. Turned on. let run for 1/2 hour. Gauges showed O. Took it back. Got another one. Same O, same O. Took it back & got money back. Went to Harbor Freight and bought theirs. No Prsroblems with it.

Nice compressor for the money.....but louder than my older oil style compressor ! I thought these oil free compressors suppose to be much more quiet ???? Overall it seems like a good tool.

I’ve had quite a few of these compressors. They have hoses that after a couple years leak and you have to take the housings apart to get to the hoses. They aren’t hard to fix except it’s a pain taking off all the plastic that covers the hoses.

Simple, easy to use air compressor. However, the instructions were not user friendly at all. I ended up looking on YouTube to understand how to set it up and start. I had used one before, but it had been a number of years.

After using it three or more times. The pressure relief started leaking. The unit on top is loose and its a loud unit

Plenty of psi, lightweight, very pleased with purchase.

Nice little machine for home use.

first 10 minutes of use moved 2 feet from were was original left...

I bought this in January of 2022 then a few weeks later it was leaking I did some tests and the unit was leaking. Don't recommend it.

Easy to operate, light-weight compared to one we had before, and more power. Win-win for us.

Bought this compressor one day, worked twice. End of story ☹️

After owning 4 of these The same part breaks over and over again The rubber hose from the tank to the motor cracks and doesn’t hold air Tried taking apart to fix but it’s a non repairable item

They leak bad about one leaked the rubber hose that goes on the motor to the tank took it back got another one and it did the same thing and it’s not the hose it’s not welded right they said people were bringing them back down by get a rigid that’s what I got that’s a good one 

This is my second compressor for a different location. Works great

Too loud when running.

Right out of the box I noticed the gauges were installed crooked compared to plastic housing, it's nice looking, it has 2 air couplers, plugged in and pushed the plastic toggle switch [old unit has metal lever] it took about 2.45 min. to fill to 150psi. next day it was down 30 lbs. removed plastic housing, which took some time, very similar to old compressor design, soapy water found 2 leaks, easy fix but didn't expect that from Porter Cable. After 2 weeks of daily use, I'm happy with it, fast recovery and fairly quiet compared to my old porter cable pancake, most oil-less compressors get louder over time. For me, it was easier to fix then wait for a replacement.
