1.Under powered and reduced blowing distance.2.Poor access to service spark plugs and other components.3. The melted snow(water) from the engine heat sits in the auger chute, if you don't have heated storage next time you use it the chute is either frozen solid or spins freely because the PLASTIC!! gear teeth are frozen in ice and you have to wait til the engine warms up to remelt the ice. Pouring antifreeze or standing the unit on edge works sometimes.4. The paddle and wear bar parts are pricey and are designed to last a short time. My last blower got 9 years this one 2.5. Take off the rubber clean bar on the bottom. All it does is leave two streaks of snow on you nice clean side walk.6.You are always fighting to keep it straight as it has a tendency to pull right.7. Works fine on nice smooth surface as paddles pull the unit but on rough or uneven surface you have to push. I am hoping to sell mine this year and be ride of a piece of junk. Oh husqvarna is the same thing just painted orange.

The belt continues to come off. I sent a request for assistance to Poulon and they wrote back that a written response was too technical and I should call them. Humor me. Just tell me how to keep the belt on for more than 6 feet of my driveway. I'm trying to buy spare belts and your website has pretty pictures but no where to buy the darn belt.

This snowblower does the job for the price and has performed well in Wisconsin 8-10 inch snowfalls. It throws snow well but vibrates and rattles a little more than my old Toro. Also the handle on the chute vibrates and moves so I am constantly reaching to reposition. If I can think of a way to tighten the chute rotation it would improve performance. But it does a good job of throwing the snow. I"ve had it two years and just get it serviced. Again, good for the price and I'd buy it again if on sale.

RUN AWAY... The fist one was shipped on its side, oil all over the place with parts missing. The second one lasted two (2) hours before something broke, it was purring along and then it sounded like the exhaust system fell off. Backfiring and popping sounds were so loud I thought the neighbors would call in a noise complaint to the police, it was 8pm. Now I am totally turned off of Poulan. I'd add a photo but it is in the service center.

This instruction booklet was highly informational and most helpful when putting the snowblower together. The box arrived within the estimated time frame and no damage to the carton.

Itpills to left when in deep snow

starts and runs well buuut cannot get by any uneven spot in concrete---stops right now and need to back up and hit again. If snow the least bit heavy it will not clean without backing up and hit again-again-again. I have had better. Arlen Sawyer

The add said the machine has electric starter but when I received it it didn't have it

DO NOT BUY!!! Worst machine I have ever bought. Had it in the shop after 2 uses. Worked for 1 more use and now back in the shop. Poorly designed. It shakes itself until it turns itself off.

Very happy with this purchase, a 45 mins shovel job turned into a 10 min snow blower job. Works like a charm! The only downfall would be the vibration of the snow blower does cause the shoot to shake out of the position that you put it in. i haven't tried tightening the screws so that may resolve this issue.

Inasmuch as it hasn't snowed yet, I can't be too objective in rating. Actually a Husquavarna/USA built unit. It's nice and shiny, seems to be put together well, assembled easily (chute is all, add oil). Wonder how it will work "as advertised" on gravel as un-even surface will likely eat up the hard-rubber paddles. PS. This is 2nd unit. 1st was flipped over in shipment, leaked oil all over, may have suffered damage in transit as wooden brace(s) were loose, missing from box. It was truly a "drop shipment".
