Purchased for Craftsman LT1000 (917-272069); easy replacement (5 minutes, tops), fits great. I had horrible vibration from a jumping idler pulley (or whatever you call the one that moves and engages the blades) caused by worn/stretched belt. This replacement eliminated the vibration, noise, and lag in engaging.

Good price for this quality of a belt. Granted, the mower made it easy to install, but the belt fit perfectly, and is currently working as it should.
The mower is an Ariens 17.5 HP 42" riding tractor, also purchased at Home Depot 5 years ago.

Belt is 106 mm but is still loose. Maybe craftsman has wrong length listed. Came in quick time. Belt of good quality. Others from Sears same wrong length and last one year this looks better.

The belt seemed a bit short, as compared to the old belt, which was probably stretched out quite a bit. Install went fine, belt is rugged... I've been cutting 12" grass and it's to the task.

Not a good decision I made
I bought this belt thinking Home Depot would sell original product for Poulan Pro 42 inch mower.
This belt kept on slipping after my first cut on my 1.5 acres property. After second cut on my lawn it tore apart and ruined pulley and spindle mower. Belt did not last even 15 days.
I am going to buy original Poulan Pro belt from manufacturer's website.
