Was as expected. Worked well for our deck.

These stringers made it easy to repair the steps to a 1921 craftsman farmhouse. My only complaint is some of the tips of the risers were split diagonally down the stringer which I believe will compromise the integrity of the stairs down the road. I pre-drilled all of my holes and some of the screws still made the splits worse. All in all, much better than trying to create my own—big time saver!

I bought 11 of these only to discover that the dimensions of each one were different. Maybe 5 of 11 were making contact with the steps carrying load. Besides being impossible to build straight stairs they are unsafe.

This foundation made our stair project so much easier, accurate and a time saver!

The stringers came on time , great quality and free shipping. I was able to finish the project one time and it looks great.

One was broken and the other has a hole in it. I think the broken one can be blamed on poor packaging as it has no padding and no instructions telling the driver to lay flat. The rotted know on the other is just poor workmanship.

I had no issues at all with warping or uneven cuts. Very pleased with these stringers.

I am pretty handy when it comes to building things but when I had to put some new stairs on my deck I wasn't sure that I would be able to pull this one off as easily as the rest of my efforts. In a nutshell, the stringers (I used 3 of these for 4'-wide stairs) made building my steps a snap. Would definitely use these again.

The stair stingers worked perfectly. We ordered 3 but only needed 2. The new stairway is very sturdy and comfortable stepping distance. It provides a great outside entry to our new addition.

Buying these guys pre-made saved me so much time on my stair project; I ended up buying four to meet code for space between the stringers. The wood on each was well-cut (all four matched each other perfectly) and solid. I decided to apply some epoxy resin to the cut edges for added projection, then painted each with acrylic paint to match the rest of the house. Overall, I was very happy with the product and would definitely buy it again.

Looked good but they were warped badly

Solid, sturdy, and not wet which should help prevent warping. I bought 4 and each one came wrapped individually in cardboard and arrived in good condition.

Two of the stringers had a little warpage but not that bad. A little expensive but certainly worth not having to cut them my self.

One of the stringers had a significant crack.

These stringers worked fine. I was pleased that they did not have any noticable cracks etc... and they took a stain pretty well.
