I bought it to cut some PVC pipe in close quarters. It worked great on schedule 20. On schedule 40 the cutter wheel was not large enough to cut completely through the pipe wall. I had to break the pipe off.

I was surprised at how well it cut the 3/4 inch copper pipe. I had another one, and dropped it into the abyss under my house. A bit of a chore to use because there's not much leverage, but when things are tight these are just right.

Very happy with the mini cutter

Worked really good at removing old flo tite shutoff valves that the builder put into our home. Just opened the tool up and put it around the pladtic valve and did a few turns as I continued to tighten it slowly until the plastic valve popped and thats when i knew it cut it through.

Very good tool for cutting small diameter pipe in confined spaces.

The ridgid1/4” to 1 1/8” close-quarter tubing cutters control knob is very easy to operate in tight spots. Ridgid tubing cutters are well-designed.

had to watch a youtube video to learn how to use it. Worked perfectly.

Works as intended, easy to use. Also the extra cut wheel is inside the handle, take out the phillips head screw.

Exactly what I need to work on some copper water pipes in the rafters of the basement ceiling

My 40 year old Ridgid mini cutter finally broke so I bought this one. It is diecast pot metal but it cut steel brake lines in a very restricted space by using a very gentle feed rate on the cutter.

Cutter works well and is easy to use to cut a straight cut.

Best way to cut copper pipe.

Excellent tool easily cuts through pipes

I really wanted to buy the 1/2”x3/4” auto cutter but the price was almost double.

Worked ok on 3/4” tubing. A longer one with more leverage for turning it would be better but I didn’t know if I’d have room for a longer one in that instance.
