I recently bought this saw and stand to have as a job site saw I could pack up each day. I loaded the saw in my truck, took it to a job site and set it up and I noticed the hinge for the blade guard was broken. It broke before I even made my first cut. The bevel adjustment lock does not work very well, and the blade seems to deflect quite badly. I am a big fan of my ridgid tablesaw and many other ridgid tools, but this one seems to be made to a much lower standard.

Great miter saw. The assembly was difficult. Great manager at Home Depot assembled it for me.

Was very exited about this saw but right out of the box the blade was wobbling like crazy. The motor was making weird noises and the electric brake wasn’t working. Had me just a little bit nervous. I took it back immediately and ordered a Dewalt. I have been doing carpentry long enough to not waste time with unreliable equipment. This is apparently a common issue that sounds like they should pull these off the shelf.

This saw is just OK. I had an older version of this saw which was getting pretty banged up. I saw this one and figured it would be an upgrade. I like the locking mechanism better. It's much easier to use and slides very smoothly. When I first started using the saw, the blade was coming loose on a regular basis. I would tighten it as tight as I dared and after 5 or 10 cuts, it would start loosening again. Over time, that problem seems to have gone away. My biggest problem is with the ineffective dust collection. On my old saw, the collection port pivoted with the saw blade. So it was always lined up with where the blade exited the cut. On the new saw, the dust port is stationary. Whoever approved this design is a few clowns short of a circus. When I cut anything that sits higher than a 2x4 sitting flat, the dust from the first half of the cut shoots out well above the dust port.

Had to return it one month later due to failure of the motor. Went with Dewalt

excellent tool and the free stand is very useful...makes cutting longer board much easier! Slide would be nice but at 12" its hasnt really been necessary.

Works great cuts nice and is adjustable for straight cuts. Only negative is that the dust sprays right on you when you stand in front of it to pull the trigger. The dust catcher doesn’t work. Other then that I’m really happy with it.

Great saw. Been using it quite a bit. The dual bevel is accurate and easier tonise than it looks. Excellent piece of equipment and the lifetime warranty can't be beat...

No matter what you do/ adjust this saw will not cut square. Spent 2 hours on 2 different saws and couldn’t get either to cut square. Save yourself the hastle and go with another brand. This saw came recommended but maybe the people who recommended them had older saws. This new one is trash. Headed back to the store now to try my luck with Dewalt.

Works well. The saw dust bag does a bad job at catching the dust. It hits all around the inlet and very little goes in. The cut line light is only useful in poor light. Outdoors it’s almost impossible to see.

This is by far the sweetest saw I have ever owned! Smooth performance & accurate cuts every time. Recommend it highly!

Great saw. A lil out of square outta the box. Nothing bad to say. Good price. The shadow blade light is very helpful.
