Used this handy tool for 3 days straight lining my shop and wash house at our cabin. We as a workhouse and did not foul once. Used mich less battery power than I had imagined. Great tool and will purchase a second for home handyman work.

As a boat designer we do lots of cardboard mock-ups. A good Crown Stapler, Hot Glue Gun, and a comfortable Box Cutter are essential tools. This is my first Cordless Crown Stapler. With a 2 Ah battery this isn't appreciably heavier than my two pneumatic Crown Staplers. It doesn't need to be oiled, doesn't have a long hose to drag around, and even has an LED work light. Right out of the box I was able to attain perfection (as far as staple depth) with this Ridgid Crown Stapler. The tool-free rotary depth adjustment dial is super easy to use. I really like how easy it is to clear jams. The staple magazine slides completely out of the way, exposing the firing area. Simple. Well thought out. I love it. 5 Stars for an excellent tool.

I enjoy hanging Christmas lights and have used a manual stapler for years. I finally decided to get a battery-powered one and am happy I did. Ridgid is my go-to brand because of the great service agreement, quality tools, and long-lasting batteries. This stapler worked great as I installed a dozen 22' strings of lights around my house using t50 1/2 inch staples with the cord centered. The battery still showed full bars and the staples drove perfectly to hold the lights in place. This is so much better and easier than the manual version because it helps with hand fatique. It also held nicely on my belt when I needed two hands to do something else. The silver metal contact plate is able to be turned around 180 degrees and one side has a nice half circle to help center the staple on cords so that it would align perfectly every time. This is a great feature for installing lights! Great overall product and I would highly recommend upgrading if you use a manual stapler!

The RIDGID 18V Cordless 3/8 in. Crown Stapler is a wonderful upgrade from my manual stapler that I have used for many years. The RIDGID stapler is so much easier to use by just pressing a trigger rather than having to use considerable force to squeeze the trigger on the manual stapler. The depth of drive adjustment is very helpful for softer woods. In testing for pine, the first staple did not go in completely. Then I slightly adjusted the depth setting; the next staple went in further. Then with another minor adjustment it worked fine with pine from there on. For harder woods, the depth of adjustment did not work as well. With southern yellow pine, even with the depth of adjustment maxed out, the staples would not go in completely. See the photo with the screening. I like how the screen and fence accessories are stored on the tool with it then being so easy to adjust them slightly to put them into use. The screen attachment worked well in some situations but not where you need to staple near the top or edge of the screening. The distance between the screen holder on the stapler and where the staple is ejected is ½" which may be too great a of distance for some applications. The belt hook is easy to attach on either the left or the right side of the tool. The LED light has been useful when there has been limited light and the placement of the LED switch makes it easy to turn on when needed. I used a RIDGID 4.0 Ah battery without having any issues. Unfortunately, none of the ½" crown staples that I used for my manual stapler fit the RIDGID stapler. In some situations, I would prefer the wider crown for better holding power. The stapler is made in Vietnam.

Whenever I'm working on a project these days, I'm trying to work smarter, not harder, that's why I got this RIDGID 18-volt 3/8-inch Crown stapler!! This stapler is the easiest stapler I have ever used!! Love It!! This one is easy to load, I popped in some T-50 staples, easy slide to close, put on an 18-volt RIDGID battery and I'm ready to staple anything, this stapler has an LED light and a regulator button to get the right pressure, a nice belt clip and has a padded ergo grip that's easy on the Rist, so I can staple insulation upside down, Very Nice!! This cordless Staple Gun is well made, lightweight and a must have for your toolbox, so much easier on the hand, you'll love it too!!

I love this stapler! It is easy to operate. It takes very little strength, and it works perfectly every time. Although I realize that most staplers will jam at some point, this one may take awhile before that happens because it is so smooth at this point. It staples well in both hard and softer surfaces. It comes without the battery and without staples, but I already had a couple of the Ridgid batteries that I could use, and the staples were easy to get at Home Depot..

This cordless crown stapler turned out to be one of the most frequently used tools in my workshop/garage.It comes with a metal cover (screen/wire attachment) to go over the head and it has two functions; to guide the stapler over a screen while installing one or to guide cables instead of using cable holders. It is quite easy and fast to load the magazine and works with Ridgid 18V batteries. It is lightweight and feels nice in hand. It has an ergonomic shape, so it doesn't feel awkward to hold. It comes with a belt hook, and hangs okay on the belt as well. It has an on board LED light that illuminates the work surface without turning on a different light. I used it to guide cables over a wood surface, to hang screen on a patio door, and also to attach a metal screen to close a hole under an outdoor shed base. It didn’t give me any errors and fired every time I tried. Overall, this is a great tool to keep in a house or garage. It has many uses for flooring, carpet, upholstery, or to install screens and insulation.

This cordless crown stapler is a good size and is not that heavy which is great because it is easier to hold it up over your head when installing crown moldings. It takes 3/8 inch staples and it uses a 18 volt battery from RIDGID. It is very easy to load. The staple track operates smoothly and effortlessly. It says it can shoot 105 staples per minute and it has a depth-of-drive adjustment. I love this tool. It is so much easier to operate than other crown staplers that I own. And it even has a guide light on it to light up where you put the staples. Very handy tool.

One very handy tool! I had tried another brand of stapler, but it just didn’t have the power and work out as well. So my options were to go back to the ‘hand’ stapler, or try a different brand. This baby has the power! Whether using it for stapling the fabric in my planter boxes or working on replacing screen around my deck, it does a marvelous job. it drives standard staples from ¼” to 9/16” with ease. And what other too manufacturer gives you free parts and service for life, when you register within 90 days! All size staples load quickly and easily. Get into a dark area, and the button behind the trigger operates a light. The depth adjustment is the easiest you ever saw. It’s the round knob on the top front of the tool. Turn counter clockwise to raise the depth, clockwise to lower it. And it also comes with an optional belt clip that screws on to the tool in only a minute, with a Phillips head screwdriver. It works very hard for a lightweight tool, even while using a 4 Ah. battery - which is NOT included. Remember, this purchase is TOOL ONLY. I may get my son one of these!

Staples went in flush with any wood product I used it on. For 100$ it came with stapler , charger and battery. Put up a roll of chicken wire into pressure treated lumber with no problem. One thing I would change is to give it an override so that it doesn’t have to be tight against what you are stapling. When you have chicken wire 4 or 5 layers deep it doesn’t want to staple because of the safety guard. I used a 4amp hour battery and it and it will work as long as you do. This was 1/3 the price of a Milwaukee stapler and its next job will be going in the dirt under a house to staple the moisture barrier back in place. It would bother me to drag a 300$ stapler through the dirt but at a 100$ , its a good deal. Use it until it dies and go from there. I would recommend this all day long. Does everything you expect it to do. It’s a stapler and it staples.

Much better than a manual unit, love the reaction and ran 40 reams before the battery stopped shooting. Really good product.

It is good at installing staples

Return the tool after one day. The tool kept jamming and needed to be cleared. Used new box of T50 Arrow staples. Also the tool is very heavy. Picked up Milwaukee stapler lighter, bump fire and no jams.

I really like this stapler sure beats squeezing the lever or swinging the stapler. So for I have used it to install insulation especially over head.

Just got this and DOA. Twice. Friend of mine has exact same model and it works perfectly. You can do better than this ridgid....
