It has good suction. The first time I emptied it, the plastic clips holding the two sections together, both broke. I returned it to a Home Depot store.

Decent but difficult to clean.
It's decent not the greatest, I don't like how it just has one head that's it. Not the greatest tip for car use need it more thinner. Suctions well. I don't know if it needs new filters often as I don't know how to clean filter.

Vacuum has amazing suction for its size.
Love it because of it's size and excellent suction. The hose is a little short when vacuuming my truck and its quit stiff. Bought some additional attachments for it.

This is an excellent vacuum, really strong suction. I use it for my car and my pellet stove. I put a sleeve over the filter to keep Ash from getting into all of the grooves. You need to buy a little smaller filter for the sleeve to fit. It works excellent!!!

came with parts missing
Was shipped lightning fast then had to return it because it was missing parts contacted home depot on a Sunday about it because it's the only free time I have and they told me to contact rigid on Monday during business hours to get it taken care of so instead I returned it and took my business elsewhere not don't have the time to sit on hold and explain over and over to diferent people over 1 stupid part

Vacuum Sucks
This thing really sucks. Like it REALLY SUCKS. It sucks harder than my old 6hp vac. My only complaint is that is sucks so hard that the floppy hose will lift the vacuum up off the floor if a seal is made with the suction nozzle.

Almost the perfect vacuum
My minor quibble with the vacuum is that I wish it came with a longer power cord. Sometimes I find myself pulling it from the wall socket when I get too far.
Other than that, it is the perfect size for my purposes. I use it to vacuum my cars and to clean up after my home improvement projects. It's very portable and has great suction. The attachment and hose storage keeps everything organized and compact.
I haven't really used the port for used for vacuuming up debris that you sweep to it.

Big power, small package
Have owned this for over 3 years now and it continues to do a great job. Being small, it is easy to move around and get in tight spaces. Great power in a small package. I use it on vehicles, small spaces during woodworking, clean up, and fireplace. Neighbor borrows for his cleanup also.

While most customers are satisfied with this vacuum, you may return the product to Home Depot store within 90 days of purchase. The WD3050 vacuum model is rated 87 decibels with the hose attached. In addition, vacuums can get loud especially when used in an enclosed space. We highly recommend wearing ear protectors when using the vac for extended period or in a noisy area.

I've had this for several years and we love it.
I originally bought this for my wife because of its size and portability. She loves it and I find myself grabbing it over the larger shop vac more than I thought. And with the lifetime warranty we will definitely continue buying and using Ridgid products.

Small, lite yet powerful
I have had this vacuum for about 3 months. It is great for a small portable vacuum. I can carry it around, use it for those 'small' jobs that don't require a big vacuum, and get into small spaces I could not do with a big vacuum. The caveat is that it is small enough that my wife can use it comfortably. (Big plus!!)
