The filter is working as expected, allowing me to vacuum water from my basement without stopping, until the unit is full! An excellent product!

We had some water in a basement bedroom the last two storms. Since that bedroom had been dry for 12 years it was a puzzle. Then I found out my French drains and downspouts were filled with debris and the rain gutters had overflowed. It gave me a chance to run the Rigid 16 gallon with the wet filter after two storms. What powerful suction! I guess that’s what we want. It sucked the carpets dry, but then went deeper. It got most of the water out of the pad too. I’m now running heat and fans in the room just as a precaution the next few days. But I am confident we will succeed at drying out the carpet and pad from running the Rigid wet vacuum with the Rigid wet filter. Cleanup of the Rigid wet filter was easy too. I just used soap and warm water. I’m letting it air dry before I store the vacuum. I fixed my drainage problem so I don’t plan to use the vacuum again on my floors anytime soon.

I wet mopped my very dirty basement floor and used the Ridgid wet filter to suck up the slurry. Made aa difficult job tolerable.

I really like the BIDGID General Debris Pleated Paper Wet/Dry Vac Cartridge Filter for Most 5 Gallon and Larger RIDGID Shop Vacuum (1-Pack). Home Depot used to carry it in a 2-Pack. I wished they would sell it in the 2-Pack again. It’s always convenient to have an extra one in the garage for unexpected messes. Please bring back the 2-Pack!!

This a replacement filter for the Rigid NXT Wet Vac. I believe it was a VF4000 filter which is what comes with the unit. This fit perfectly. No issues with it at all.
