[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This benchtop grinder works well. All parts in the box came in good condition and the motor seems plenty powerful for grinding chisels and plane irons. The included tool rest is awful but is easily replaced with a third party tool rest. The metal stub that the included tool rest attaches to can get in the way of an after market tool rest but that can be removed fairly quickly with a hack saw. It’s pretty cheap and the main grinding functionality works fine so can’t really complain.

This is the exact, and I mean EXACT same unit as Harbor Freight's Bauer grinder model 57286, except green instead of red. This one's $80, that one's $55. That's a shame, because you can see on the Internet Archive that this one was $45 five years ago. Earlier this year, it was $60. Don't get ripped off, go to Harbor Freight (or buy used!)

Good for the price not super powerful where your tool will fly away , will get the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grinder is tight! When you switch it on, it hums like a well balanced machine. Hardly any vibration at all. It was easy to assemble. It comes with a face shield on the rough side and a magnifying glass on the finishing side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a wheel for restoring some metal shop tools. I was missing a small plastic plate that wasn’t needed to run the tool; Ryobi support mailed me a replacement promptly. I’m happy with this tool and recommend it.

Grinder works good, used it for buffing small chrome pieces on car restoration.
